'night school'

LEXI HAD BEEN AVOIDING Stiles like the plague, knowing that he had kept something so big from her, even after the fact that she had been attacked by the very thing it seemed like he was trying to protect.
Being dragged into hanging out with Lydia and Jackson was something she didn't want to go through again, especially not after the last time, where she and Jackson had been attacked by the 'wolf'. Lexi still couldn't tell if she was being crazy or not; surely werewolves don't exist?

Stiles had explained everything to her, even when he didn't want to.. He didn't exactly have a choice, with her figuring everything out herself, he knew that she was smart, but he highly underestimated her and her ability to figure things out on her own. She was very observant with her surroundings, and it seemed that Stiles was the only one who knew, not even her own sister.
He should have known that Lexi would figure it out sometime, with her digging around and finding clues, he just wished that he could have been the one to tell her instead of having to admit he lied. He had only just got the amazing girl to like him, and now.. It had all gone away.

The fact that she was avoiding him only upset him further, as he hadn't gotten a chance to explain himself after finally telling her about the werewolves in Beacon Hills.
Stiles thought that it was because she wanted nothing more to do with him after he kept such a big secret from her, but it was much more than that.. Lexi just didn't know what to do.

She currently sat, squished in the backseat of Jackson's car as Lydia had begged her to come out once again - it seemed that the two of them were on the rocks, and she needed Lexi to keep it less awkward.
Lexi had rang Allison and practically begged her to come along as she didn't want to be stuck with Lydia and Jackson alone, but Allison was claiming that she was waiting on Scott for their date.

"What's she saying?" Lydia asked from the front seat.

Lexi pulled the phone down from her ear, "She said she's waiting on Scott to pick her up." She informed her sister.
Lydia sighed, before motioning for Lexi to hand her the phone, to which she did.

"You hear that?" Lydia scoffed at what Allison said on the other line, "First, it's 'he's only twenty-six minutes late', a month later it's 'he only hits me when he's drunk'." She informed Allison.

Lexi furrowed her brows at Lydia's words, "Jesus, Lyds." She cursed, pulling the phone away from Lydia, who glared at Lexi, "We're coming to get you." She spoke into the phone.

"No, honestly, it's fine." Allison spoke on the other end.

Lexi felt bad that Allison didn't actually want to come along, but if she had to put up with the annoying couple, then so did she. "Too late." She spoke, cringing when she saw Allison outside of the car as they drove up to her house. "Sorry." Lexi said, as Allison walked around the car to talk to them.

As Allison was about to get into the car, her phone beeped, indicating that she had a text, which caused Lydia to lean over and see what was happening.
"Is that him with the best explanation of why he's half a freaking hour late?" She asked, annoyed that Scott would stand up her best friend.
Lexi rolled her eyes; this was going to be a long night.

"I don't like being here this late at night, it's creepy." Lexi spoke, as she linked with Allison and walked through the hallways to find Scott, while Lydia and Jackson stayed at the car to wait for them to come back.
Lexi was hoping that Scott had his car here, as there was no way all of them would be able to fit in the back of Jackson's car, not with how small it is, she and Allison could barely fit in it, and they were two small girls..

"Neither do I. But we have to find Scott." Allison spoke, keeping the flashlight on so they could see where they were walking, as there were no lights.

Getting fed up that they were getting no answer from Scott, Lexi rolled her eyes, "Scott!" She yelled, much louder than what Allison had been doing, only, when she went to yell again, Allison hushed her, "What?" Lexi asked.

"There could be people here." Allison told her quietly.

Lexi nodded, "Yeah, Scott. I wanna find him and get the hell out of here, it was just too creepy for my liking." She told Alison, as they walked forwards more, not noticing the large alpha at the end of the hallway, stalking them..

In no time, they had made it to the pool, somewhere that looked even more creepy at night time.
The two teenagers stopped in their steps when Allison's phone began to rang, the sound making Lexi jump out of her skin - when she saw it was only Lydia, she sighed in relief, meaning that it could finally be the time where they can leave the dreadful building.
However, when Stiles began to call Allison, the two girls furrowed their brows in confusion, Lexi even more - why would Stiles be ringing Allison?

Allison answered within a few rings, "Stiles?" She asked.
Lexi looked at her for an answer, but Allison simply shook her head as to say it wasn't Stiles, causing Lexi to relax slightly. "I'm in the school looking for you, why weren't you at my place?" She told Scott, as Lexi waited patiently besides her, looking around at their surroundings, scared that something could jump out at any moment and kill them like a horror movie. "On the first floor. The swimming pools."
Allison then looked at Lexi, "Okay, okay." She answered, before hanging up, "We gotta meet them at the lobby."

"Really?" Lexi asked, white nervous to see Stiles after not speaking to him for a few days.

"Come on." Allison told her, grabbing her wrist to pull her forwards, as Lexi groaned in annoyance.
She so regretted leaving the house tonight. If only she stayed in and watched Gossip Girl..

The second that Scott and Stiles set eyes on Allison and Lexi, Stiles nearly jumped out of his skin at the sight of the Martin girl, having not spoken to her for a while. When she avoided looking at him in the eye, it hurt, but the only thing that mattered right now, was getting her and Allison out of here safely and away from the alpha.
"What are you doing here?" Stiles manned up and asked Lexi, worried that the alpha was going to target her next.

"Scott text Allison to meet him here." She informed him, as Allison and Scott spoke to each other at the side, when she turned around to face him finally, she noticed the look on his face, "Scott didn't text her, did he?" She asked, causing him to shake his head at her - he was done hiding things from her.

"Did you drive here?" Scott asked Allison, panicking now.

"Jackson did." Lexi told him, causing Stiles' eyes to widen further.

"Jackson's here?" Stiles asked, as Lexi nodded, finding his behaviour strange. Sure, he acted strange a lot of the time, but today just seemed to be weirder than other day's..

"And Lydia." Lexi confirmed, giving Stiles a strange look as he reached over and took her wrist in his grip.
Finally, Lydia and Jackson showed up, causing her to sigh in relief, "Great, can we go now?" She asked everyone. She didn't know why everyone was so okay with being at the school in the middle of the night; it wasn't something that Lexi wanted to do to pass the time.

In response, the group of teens heard a loud bang above them, indicating that something was in the ceiling. Lexi instinctively reached out for Stiles' hand and grabbed it, holding it tight, out of fear. It was bad enough that they were in an empty school at this time, but now there was something else with them? That didn't sit right with her.

"Run!" Scott yelled, as Stiles pulled Lexi along with him, making sure that she kept up with him.
She ran for her life, having a feeling in her gut, that whatever was here with them, was the thing that attacked her in the school, and there was no way she wanted to stick around to find out if she was right.

Lexi heard the growling from behind them, and even if her sister, Jackson and Allison didn't see it.. She did. And it was huge, with piercing red eyes scaring the Martin girl even more than she was before.
Thankfully, Stiles pulled her into a classroom with the others close behind, and Scott was quick to lock the door, ushering to the others to get the chairs to board up the door even more.
Lexi was about to join in and help, only for Stiles to not release her, and when she turned around, she knew why. There were windows.

"Scott, wait, not here." He told Scott, as the others ignored him and hurried with boarding the door with tables and chairs, as Allison kept pressing Scott for answers about what the hell just chased them down the hallway.
Lexi was surprised she hadn't had a panic attack at this point - she didn't do well with situations like this, she felt like she was going to faint. "Guys, can we just wait a second?" Stiles spoke once more, but being ignored again. "Hello? Guys? Stiles talking."

At this point, Lexi had had enough of everyone ignoring Stiles, and within seconds, she whistles loud enough to get everyone's attention, who turned around with wide eyes.
"Stiles is talking!" She half-shouted, angrily, before ushering to Stiles to speak, who was already looking at her in complete amazement.

Shaking his head to bring him out of his gaze, he looked towards the others, "Okay, great job everyone! Now what should we do about the twenty-foot wall of windows?" He asked them all.

"Can someone please explain to me what's going on?" Allison asked, most importantly, to Scott. "Because I am freaking out here, and I would like to know why."
Lexi, on the other hand, had a pretty good idea of what was going on - just by looking at Stiles, she knew that they were stuck inside of this school with the huge wolf in with them..

She moved back to her position next to Stiles and took his hand in hers once more, finding that it made her more calm, and right now, she needed that, as she was freaking out.
In response, Stiles used his thumb to create circles on the back of her hand, concentrating on her breathing so that he knew she was okay. When he heard her slow her breathing pace down, he sighed in relief.

"Somebody killed the janitor." Stiles revealed, upon looking over at Scott and seeing that he was in no condition to explain what the hell was going on.

"What?" The Martin twins both exclaimed at the same time, sounding exactly the same.

"Yeah, the janitors dead." He answered, still keeping ahold of Lexi's hand, who he didn't think would release her grip on him anytime soon. Not that he minded.

While Lexi could tell that he was being one-hundred percent serious, Allison and the others somehow didn't believe him.
"What's he talking about? Is this a joke?" She laughed.

"Who killed him?" Jackson then asked.

Lexi closed her eyes slightly to calm herself down, as her heart was pounding out of her chest; if Stiles wasn't stood next to her, she probably would have passed out at this point.

"No, no, no. This was supposed to be over." Lydia panted, clearly not trying to calm herself down like her sister was. "The mountain lion.."

"No, don't you get it?" Jackson interrupted her rudely, causing Lexi to glare at him, "There wasn't a mountain lion." He spoke, giving Lexi a knowing look, who didn't move her glare away from him.

"Who was it? What does he want?" Allison cried, still pressing for answers. "What's happening?"
When no one answered, only staying silent, she cracked, "Scott!" She shouted.

Lexi couldn't even hear Scott talk, with the sound of her heart beating in her ears.
"He's gonna kill us?" She heard her sister ask, causing her to come back to earth.

"Who's gonna kill us?" She couldn't help but ask, looking up at Stiles, hoping that he would answer her.
She thought it was the wolf that was in here, not a person, why were they talking about someone killing them all?
Stiles only motioned towards Scott for an answer, causing her to turn around to face his friend, still gripping onto Stiles' hand, really not wanting to let it go.

"It's Derek." Scott revealed. "It's Derek Hale.

"Derek killed the janitor?" Jackson asked.

"Why would he do that?" Lexi then asked.

"Are you sure?" Allison asked over all of them.

"I saw him." Scott answered them all.

"The mountain lion.." Lydia spoke again.

"No, Derek killed them." Scott interrupted her.

"All of them?" Allison asked.

Lexi's head began to hurt with the amount of questions being thrown around - she felt bad for Scott, who was the main person answering them all. She didn't know why he was now saying Derek Hale had murdered everyone, when Stiles specifically told her it was the wolf.
There was no way she was about to reveal that, though. Her sister had only just gotten over the attack at the DVD store.

"Yeah. Starting with his own sister." Scott answered, sounding panicked himself.

"And the bus driver?" Allison asked, yet another question.

"And the guy in the video store." Scott answered, causing Lexi's blood to run cold at the remembrance of her attack. "It's been Derek the whole time! He's in here with us. And if we don't get out now.. He's going to kill us too."
