LEXI KNEW THAT STILES was hiding something from her all along, and when they two of them had seen the picture on her sisters phone, it was then did she realise that she was right - the thing that attacked her wasn't a mountain lion.
She confronted him not long after they left Lydia's room, and he had promised that he would tell her the truth when he finds out, so now all she had to do, was wait.
She was going to find out what that thing was, and wasn't going to give up until she did..

When Lexi walked into her shared lesson with Stiles the next day, she wanted so badly to ask him for the truth once again, but after hearing about his dad's accident the night before, while she was with him, she just had to ask about the man.
As she sat down, Stiles didn't even look up at her, showing that he was upset, she sighed at the sight, leaning over so she was right next to him, "How's your dad?" She asked softly, knowing how close Stiles was with his dad.

Stiles tried to ignore the butterflies in his stomach at the smell of her Chanel perfume and the sound of her angelic voice, before turning to her with a soft smile of his own.
"He's okay, thank god." He answered, surprised that the girl cared about how he felt and how his dad was doing.

He remembered the night before and gathered that it was because she wanted information about the 'mountain lion', but something told him that this wasn't the case.
Since he had started talking to her, he had realised that she was one of the nicest girls he has ever known - the glass wall she put up to anyone she didn't know was just an act, and when she let someone in, they realised just how amazing they were, and Stiles had fallen even more in love with her.. If that was even possible.

Lexi smiled widely at his answer, glad that Noah was doing okay - every time that she had come into contact with that man, he had been nothing but kind to her, more kind than her own father was..
"That's good. I'm glad he's okay." She told Stiles, before leaning back into her own chair, not noticing the look that the boy was giving her - she was oblivious to everything around her. "About yesterday.." She began to speak again, until Scott had walked up to the two, looking down at Stiles guiltily - he interrupted their conversation.

Within seconds, Lexi had turned back to the front of the classroom like she hadn't even been talking to the Stilinski boy. It wasn't that she didn't want to be seen talking to him; she just didn't want to be seen as crazy when she believed that she wasn't attacked by a mountain lion, but something bigger. She was embarrassed and she didn't want people to see her as someone that should be in Eichen House.
Even if Lexi wasn't talking to Stiles anymore, she still listened in to what Scott was saying, trying to piece together what the two of them were hiring..

When she heard the name Derek, it gained Stiles' attention, and Lexi couldn't help but wonder why. As the bell rang, Lexi gathered her notebooks, ready for the lesson, when Stiles turned around in his seat to talk to Scott, unknowingly to him that Lexi was secretly listening in.
As she listened, she just knew that she had to get the answers out of Stiles, and quickly.

Lexi followed Stiles and Scott down the hallway, and waited until her new friend split from his best friend, before she rushed to his side, putting her arm through his, as they walked down the hallway.
They received all kind of stares from the students around them as they walked with their arms linked, while Lexi had a bright smile on her face, and Stiles didn't think that he had ever had this much attention before, he wasn't popular like Lexi and her sister was; this wasn't normal for him.

"Hi Stiles." She greeted, as she slid her arm through his smoothly, surprising him slightly and causing his cheeks to turn bright red at the connection.

"Uh, hi." He stuttered, something he always did when he was around her; she made him nervous, and that wasn't a secret, anyone could see how Lexi Martin effected Stiles Stilinski, and anyone could tell that he has had a crush on her since they were little, something the girl herself, didn't know.

Lexi smiled at people as they gave her and Stiles weird glances, not expecting the two to be walking together, before turning her smile to Stiles.
"I heard you and Scott talking in class." She revealed, "Now, unless you were talking about Scott being an animal in bed, I would appreciate an answer, just like you promised." She told Stiles, not wanting to be too demanding, but just wanting to know what was going on.
She felt like she deserved that much, after being attacked by the thing everyone is claiming to be a mountain lion.

Stiles sighed, knowing that she didn't come to talk to him because she wanted to, but because she wanted answers. He looked around at their surroundings, not wanting anyone to hear them talk, "I can't tell you now, but I promise that I'll tell you soon, okay? Just let me sort some things out." He said, and by sort things out, he meant Scott and his problems.
It's not like he wanted to lie to the girl he loved, but he didn't even know everything himself, he wanted to make sure that he was one hundred percent right with everything, before he opened his mouth and revealed everything to Lexi. He just didn't want her getting hurt, that was the last thing he wanted..

They stopped to the side of the hallway as Lexi sighed back at his answer, not being the thing she wanted to hear. Stiles didn't owe her anything, she knew that.
"Okay. Thanks, Stiles." She told him, giving him a kiss on the cheek, before strutting away from him, leaving him pawning over her figure walking away.

He mentally slapped himself in the face - if only he could just tell her, it just wasn't that easy. With a groan of annoyance, he headed in the opposite direction, ready to think of his first plan to help Scott.

Lexi bit into her apple as she watched her sister closely, knowing that something was bothering her. That's what they could do, and what they would always be able to do - she had seen that something had been bothering Lydia for a while now, but she didn't know how to help her.
It was clearly from the attack at the DVD store, but Lexi couldn't exactly tell her something she didn't know. Unlike Lydia, Lexi actually faced things head on, and while Lydia was trying to avoid and forget what happened, Lexi was trying to find out more.

When Allison joined them, Lydia put her guard back up, acting like someone she wasn't once again.
"The what of who?" Lydia asked, as Allison read out a name from her family heritage book.

"The beast of Gevaudan." Allison told her, "Listen.. A quadruped wolf-like monster, growling the Auvergne and South Dordogne areas of France during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bete killed over one hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louis the fifteenth sent one of his best hunters to try and kill it." Allison explained, as the only person who was really listening was Lexi.

"Boring." Lydia said, barely listening to what Allison had started reading out.

Lexi rolled her eyes at her twin, nudging her in annoyance, "It's not boring, Allison. Go on." She encouraged, wanting to know more about this beast.
It made her thing back to the attack, and the beast that had done it.

"Even the church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan." Allison read out again, until Lydia interrupted her.

"Hmm. Still boring." Lydia told Allison.

"Lydia, hush." Lexi told Lydia, placing a finger over her own mouth to show that Lydia should shut up.
Just because she didn't want to listen to Allison's explanation, didn't meant that Lexi didn't.

"Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a medonychid." Allison carried on.

"Slipping into a coma bored." Lydia spoke again.

This time, both of the girls chose to ignore Lydia, and Allison began to read her book once more. "While others believe it was a powerful sorcerer who could shape shift into a man eating monster." Allison spoke.
For some reason, this all sounded familiar to Lexi, but she just couldn't place her finger onto it - this is why she needed answers from Stiles.

"Any of this have anything to do with your family?" Lydia asked, not understanding the point in any of this and why Allison was so keen on it.

"This." Allison confirmed, "It is believed that La Bete was finally trapped and killed by a renown hunter who claimed his wife and four children were the first to fall prey to the creature. His name was Argent." She finished, looking up at the girl with a smug smile.
Lexi smiled in response to Allison's words, finding it incredibly cool that she had a heritage like this, unlike Lexi and Lydia, who had nothing..

"Your ancestors killed a big wolf. So what?" Lydia asked, clearly not showing the same excitement as her sister.

"Not just a big wolf. Take a look at this picture." Allison retorted, pulling open the book again and finding a page, before she spun the book around to show her two friends.
"What does it look like to you?" She asked.

When Lexi laid her eyes upon the book, she held her expression well, and although she wanted to scream to her friend that the thing there was what attacked her and Jackson in the DVD store, but she held her own, and simply nodded at the photo.
This was definitely something that Stiles should look at, as it is an exact replica of what was on Lydia's phone. "Can I take a picture of this?" She asked Allison quickly, who nodded at the girl.
Lexi took out her phone and snapped a photo of the book, before placing it back in her bag, "I have to study. I'll see you guys later." She told the two of them, before rushing off, leaving the girls watching her in confusion.

All Lexi knew, was that she needed to find Stiles, and fast, before she rushed out of the cafeteria, she noticed that he was sitting with Scott, just across from the girls, and that Scott looked as if he was attempting to hide from her, which didn't make any sense.
Shrugging, she walked up to the table and took a seat next to Stiles, causing the boy to gasp at the sudden presence next to him. "I have something you want to see." She told him upon sitting down, not even bothering to greet him or Scott.

She reached into her bag and pulled out her phone, just as she heard Allison shout Scott's name, causing him to scurry off. When she looked back up at Stiles for an explanation, he shrugged, "Don't ask." He told her, "What is it that you wanna show me?" He asked her, leaning over to look at what's in her hands.

Rearranging how she was sitting so she was fully facing Stiles, and incredibly close, she pulled open the photo of what she had taken from Allison's book. "So.." She began, "Allison has this book, of her family heritage, and she explained how this 'wolf-like monster' was wrecking havoc, killing over one hundred people." She began to explain, as Stiles visibly paled at her words, knowing that she was onto something. He should have known..
"And then she showed us this." She then spoke, finally showing him the photo, to which he looked at closely, "That's the thing that attacked me and Jackson. I know it." She told him, looking up to his face fall with realisation.
She smiled to herself at his face - she had figured it out.
"A wolf." She told Stiles finally, causing him to hush her.

"Not so loud!" He whispered, causing her to sulk down in her chair. Stiles sighed, knowing that he just had to tell her now.
So, with a deep breath, he began.
