( 𝟎𝟎𝟐 ) first day back
'wolf moon'

LEXI WAS PULLED OUT of a deep sleep due to the shrill shriek of her alarm - she always dreaded mornings. She would normally have a longer time having a lie in, but she hadn't sorted out an outfit from the night before, so she needed to sort something out so her sister wouldn't have a go at her for not being fashionable.
She could hear the sound of her twin shuffling around in the next room, as she managed to pull herself out of her comfortable, warm bed. She never understood how Lydia always woke up so early with no problem whatsoever.
She didn't know what impression she wanted on her for the first day of school; she wanted people to think that she was laid back, unlike her sister, who is incredibly snotty.
She decided on a simple outfit, wearing the colours of black and white, with some trousers; she wasn't usually the type to wear skirts; if she were to wear something like that, it would either be a dress or shorts - but she wouldn't wear a dress to school.
Once she had finally gotten ready and was all set to go, Lydia came waltzing in her room, also dressed and ready. She tilted her head at Lexi upon seeing her outfit, "Normally, I would say no to trousers, but you pull them off." She said, looking her sister up and down.
Lexi smiled at Lydia, "Thanks, Lyds." She said, grabbing her bag and walking to her door, "You ready?"
"Yup." Lydia replied, beginning to leave the house, "We'll go in my car today, it matches my outfit." She told Lexi.
She rolled her eyes at her sisters comment, only Lydia Martin would match an outfit to her car.
"How come you're not going in with Jackson today?" She asked, as she climbed in the passenger side of Lydia's car.
Lydia shrugged, while checking out her lip gloss in the mirror, before pulling out of their drive. "He wanted to drive his car, I wanted to drive mine."
Once they had made it to school, Lexi immediately felt better about herself; the stares of admiration and jealousy that she and Lydia received was enough to boost anyone's confidence. She didn't want to admit it, but it felt good.
The two girls smiled at each other, before linking arms and walking towards the school, not looking in anyone's way as they did so.
The curls on Lexi's hair bounced with every step she took, making her look as if she was a movie star; she didn't need to wear expensive or revealing clothing, her hair takes most of the attention away.
As they were walking, she couldn't help but overhear a conversation going on between two boys by the entrance of the school.
"That's freaking awesome. This is seriously the best thing that's happened to this town since..." The buzzcut haired boy spoke, trailing off as he looked over towards the Martin twins; she had never noticed this boy before, but for some reason, he gained he attention today.
"Since the birth of Lydia Martin, who's walking towards us right now." He finished.
Lexi instantly felt bad for the boy, she knew that Lydia wouldn't go for him, she had Jackson, and she only dated popular guys; Lexi was sure that this boy wasn't popular.
"Hey, Lydia. How are you? You look..." The boy began, only for Lydia to completely ignore him and pull Lexi along so she wouldn't stay and chat with them; she knew that her twin could be overly nice sometimes.
"Like you're going to ignore me." He finished.
Lexi couldn't just walk by and pretend that she didn't notice the boy who obviously had a crush on her sister; she quickly turned around, catching the attention of the buzzcut boy, and waved, showing him a small smile.
He seemed dazed at first, as if he couldn't believe that the Lexi Martin was waving at him, he checked behind him in case she was actually looking at someone else, only for no one to be there.
She caught eye of this, causing her to chuckle and walk away from them and into the building, leaving the unknown boy in pieces.
Lexi walked into her first lesson of the day; not exited about it one bit, as it was the one of the classes she didn't have with Lydia. Upon walking into the classroom, she noticed the boy from the front of the school, causing her mood to shoot up.
She strutted over to the seat in front of him, not gaining his attention as of yet due to the fact that he had his head buried in his book.
"Hi." Lexi spoke, gaining the boy's attention, who jolted upwards, "Is anyone sitting here?" She asked him.
The boys mouth opened like a fish on dry land, as Lexi waited for an answer. His friend, who was with him earlier, noticed that the boy had froze up, causing him to kick him from under the table.
He coughed loudly, throwing his hands up in gesture of her to sit down, "N-No, uh, y-you go ahead." He stuttered, causing him to instantly face palm as his inability to speak to girls.
Lexi smiled at him, thinking he was cute, before putting her bag down and sitting in the chair. As the class wasn't starting yet, she turned to face the boy, who seemed to be staring at the back of her head.
She laughed, "I'm Lexi." She introduced, wanting to know the boys name.
"I know." Stiles answered casually, causing Lexi to look at him with an amused look, "I mean, um, I'm Stiles."
Lexi laughed again at the boys awkwardness, "Nice to meet you, Stiles." She said, before turning back around in her seat, ready for the lesson ahead of her.
Stiles felt as if he was in a parallel universe, not only was Lexi Martin sitting in front of him, but she was talking to him too; he just couldn't believe it.
"As all of you know by now, there was indeed a body found in the woods last night. I'm sure your eager little minds are coming up with all sorts of macabre scenarios as to how it happened, but I've been told that the police have a suspect in custody." The teacher spoke, before writing something on the board at the front of the classroom, "Which means you can give your undivided attention to the syllabus which is on your desk outlining the semester."
Lexi didn't hear about a body being found in the woods the night before; it was pretty strange, as nothing usually happened around Beacon Hills.
Her thoughts were interrupted as the door opened to reveal a new student and the principle.
"Class." The principle spoke, gaining the attention of all of the students, "This is our new student, Allison Argent. Please do your best to make her feel welcome."
Allison smiled widely at the class, obviously feeling nervous and embarrassed that she just had to be introduced to everyone. Lexi could already tell that she would become a good match for being their friend; Lydia would definitely approve. Allison had the natural charms and she was very pretty.
As she took the empty desk next to Lexi, she turned to the new girl.
"Hi." She greeted, causing Allison to look up at her, "I'm Lexi."
She knew that Allison would appreciate someone befriending her on her first day; she can't imagine how hard it must be to move schools.
"Nice to new you, I'm Allison." Allison replied, causing Lexi to smile in humour, the principle had already introduced her to the class. Allison shook her head at her stupidity, "But you already knew that." She said.
Lexi laughed at turned back to the teacher who had began to talk once more.
She had found out that she had a few classes with the Stiles boy, along with his friend, Scott; who were both actually really nice, Lexi found out.
It was now halfway through the day, and Lexi had met up with Lydia.
"She's super pretty, I think you'll like her." Lexi spoke, causing Lydia to nod at her.
"Let's go and say hi." Lydia decided, linking with Lexi and dragging her off to find Allison.
Once they found her, she had her head in her locker; when Lydia and Lexi approached her, she turned around upon seeing the red headed twins.
Allison instantly recognised Lexi as the girl that introduced herself in English - she was the only girl that had been kind to her all day.
"That jacket is an absolute killer. Where did you get it?" Lydia asked her, looking over the new girl in approval.
"My Mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco." Allison answered Lydia sheepishly.
Lydia's smile widened, "And you, are our new best friend." She announced, flipping her hair.
Lex smiled at this, she could tell that she and Allison would get along.
Allison was about to say something else, only to get interrupted by Lydia's boyfriend, Jackson, who came waltzing over and began making out with Lydia. Lexi rolled her eyes; there wasn't even an exchange in 'hello's' before he decided to attack Lydia's face.
"I'm Jackson." He introduced, once he pulled away from Lydia, "And my girlfriend..."
"Lydia Martin." Lydia interrupted, sending a warning look to Jackson, "And you already know my sister, Lexi."
"I'm Allison." Allison introduces, sending them a kind smile, "It's really nice to meet you."
"So..." Lydia began, not bothering to get to know Allison, "This weekend, there's a party."
"A party?" Allison asked, sounding curious, but she was clearly unimpressed. Lexi could tell that the new girl was unsure of the party; she didn't blame her, if Lexi was a new student and got invited to a party within five minutes of knowing someone, she would be unsure too.
"Yeah." Jackson nodded, Lexi noticed that he was being friendlier than normal, something that he wasn't.
Don't get her wrong, she liked Jackson, but she didn't at the same time - he wasn't the nicest person.
"Friday night, you should come."
Allison bit her lip, "Uh, I can't." She answered, Lexi could tell she was lying, "It's family night on Friday. But thanks for asking."
Lexi didn't want to push her into attending the party, if she didn't want to go, then she didn't want to; clearly, Jackson didn't feel the same way.
"Are you sure?" He asked, not getting the hint, "I mean, everyone's going after the scrimmage."
"You mean, like football?" Allison asked, clearly not understanding the sport at the school, which was lacrosse.
"Football's a joke here in Beacon." Jackson said, letting out a laugh, "The sport here is lacrosse, we've won the state championship for the last three years."
"Because of a certain team captain." Lydia spike, ruffling her boyfriends hair. She loved to boast about him and she loved to be able to say that he was her boyfriend.
"Well, we have practice in a few minutes, "Jackson informed Allison, "That is, if you don't have anywhere else to..."
"Well, I was going to..." Allison began to decline, only for Lydia to interrupt.
"Perfect," She spoke with a smirk, "You're coming."
Lexi immediately linked Allison, letting Lydia and Jackson walk ahead, "You'll get used to it, don't worry." She spoke to her, causing Alison to smile at the girl.

The three were now sat at the bleachers, watching practice go down. Lexi was used to watching the game and practices; since Lydia dragged her along to practically every one.
She noticed that Scott, Stiles' friend was trying out; she didn't know that he was apart of the team.
"Who is that?" Allison asked, upon seeing Scott standing in the goal.
"Him?" Lydia asked, looking over at the boy, "I'm not sure who he is."
Lexi shook her head and turned to Allison, "I think his name is Scott, he's friends with Stiles." She informed the girl.
Scott heard the sentence from his place in the goal, and smiled to himself that Lexi was finally acknowledging Stiles; the boy had secretly had a crush on the girl since he could remember - but he hides it and pretends that he likes her twin. He thought it was so he didn't have to face the rejection with the girl he actually likes.
Lydia gave her sister a strange look, since when did Lexi know who those two boys are?
Throughout lacrosse practice, Scott was pretty much catching every single balls that were thrown towards him in the goal - Lexi was watching in pure amazement and was amused at the fact that Jackson was getting highly annoyed.
"He seems pretty good." Lexi told Lydia with a smirk, upon seeing Jackson's angry face.
"Yeah." Lydia answered, upon seeing the boy in goal, "Very good."
Lexi was confused at how she never noticed the Scott boy before, since he is great at lacrosse; how come he hadn't been on the team before?
She made it a mental note to get to know Scott and his friend, Stiles; they were people that Lexi wanted to know.
