SOMEONE WAS CONTROLLING Jackson, controlling whom he murdered, controlled his memory and so on, meaning that the boy had no idea what he was doing, since he couldn't remember a single thing. It made sense to Lexi, that he didn't remember, as the boy was clueless about the whole thing and still believed that Lydia was the reason behind him not becoming a werewolf, due to Lydia not turning into anything, as well as Lexi. Which just added to the questions about what Lydia was.. If Lexi turned into something from the bite from Peter, then Lydia must have, too.. But the question is.. What is she? Lydia hadn't changed a single bit since the bite from Peter, besides from the obvious PTSD she had from the amount of attacks she had suffered through, but Lexi just couldn't figure out if she was an empath like herself, or something completely different — she hadn't been showing any signs of being an empath like her, so she had absolutely no clue, even Scott didn't know, and it was beginning to annoy Lexi with the fact that they couldn't work out what was wrong with her sister; making it even harder as the girl knew nothing.

As Lexi was at Allison's house, she had finally successfully translated the Latin in the book about the Kanima, with some trouble due to the fact that Lydia had always been better at translating Latin than she was; Lydia was better at a lot of things, and it used to annoy Lexi to no end, but now, she realised that they were just different.. "If Jackson doesn't know what he's doing, then he probably doesn't know that someone's controlling him."  Allison spoke through the phone, the device sitting on the side on loud speaker as Lexi carried on trying to translate the Latin into English. She was still nervous about being at the girls house, since her father and grandfather had hunted Lydia down in attempt to kill her, and had probably planned to do the same with her — it was awkward, seeing Allison's mother and saying hi, but Lexi tried not to let it bother her, as if she did, it would just make her look even more suspicious to them, and truth be told, the Argents scared her.

"Or he doesn't remember." Scott spoke up on the other end, trying to piece together what Lexi had found out from the words in Latin. This whole thing was confusing, and they all didn't know how they were going to be able to piece it all together in time to stop anyone else from dying.

What if it's the same thing that happened with Lydia when she took off from the hospital?" Stiles next spoke up, remembering that Lexi's sister didn't remember a single thing from her days in the woods, naked, he had an idea that it may be the same king of thing that was happening to Jackson, that the bite was doing different things to them both, as well as Lexi.

Lexi perked up at his voice and words, turning around in the chair to share a look with Allison, that he could be right — Lexi wasn't surprised, to her, Stiles was right most of the time, it was just a shame that no one else could see it. "A fugue state?" Allison asked, trying to piece together what Stiles had said.

"He's have to forget everything.. The murder, getting rid of the blood.. But he must have had help with one thing, the video." Scott spoke up, piecing it all together in his head after Stiles words. "And someone else helped him forget that. Must be whoever's controlling him." He finished, eyes wide as he looked up at Stiles. It was surprising that everything now made so much more sense now they had read the Latin, and they couldn't thank Lexi enough for it.

"Are you sure that Jackson has absolutely no clue about any of this?" Lexi finally spoke up, actually feeling fearful for the boy she had grown to care for over the years — no matter how much of an arse he could be to her sister, she still cared about his welfare, and didn't exactly want him to die, and she knew that Lydia still loved him, too, and she didn't want her twin to break over what was happening to Jackson.

"He thinks he's still becoming a werewolf and that being with Lydia somehow delayed the whole thing." Stiles informed the girl he was seeing, feeling bad for Lydia that Jackson was blaming everyone on the innocent girl who didn't know anything. Lexi had asked him many times about telling Lydia everything, but Scott had practically turned down her request every single time, knowing that they couldn't trust Lydia just yet.

"So, do we get to convince him he's not?" Allison asked next, knowing that maybe, if Jackson knew what was happening to him, he could control his actions.

"If it helps us find out who's controlling him, then yeah." Scott confirmed, knowing that they didn't really have any other choice, they needed to stop him before he kills someone else.

Lexi shook her head at his words, knowing that Jackson wasn't going to near any of them for what they had done, and although Lexi wasn't exactly part of the whole kidnapping thing, she had no doubt that Jackson heard her when she went to talk to Scott and Stiles when he was still locked in the back. "I don't think he's gonna want to talk to any of us after what we did to him, this is Jackson we're talking about, you know." Lexi couldn't help but butt in, knowing that they clearly didn't know Jackson as well as she did.

"Yeah, it's us. He'll talk to us, right?" Stiles asked, uncertainty clear in his tone that no one else caught besides Lexi. The girl didn't believe for one second that he would want to talk to Scott or Stiles after what they did; so the second they hung up, the girl made her thoughts known to Allison.

"He's not going to want anything to do with any of us after this." Lexi informed Allison, the second the boys hung up to go and talk to the boy in question. She was hoping that Allison would agree with her and see where she was coming from, but when she shook her head, Lexi sighed, "Look, I've known Jackson for years, Allison. I know the way he thinks, and the way he acts, he's not going to talk to Scott or Stiles, he hates the two of them as it is." She explained, trying to get through to the girl the kind of boy Jackson was; even if he was a horrible person, she still cared for him.

"Well, what about us? Will he talk to me or you?" Allison asked, finally seeing Lexi's point.

Lexi sighed, "I really don't know, Ali." She admitted, wishing that she had something better to say about Jackson.
It was then, did the two girls realised that they were screwed.

Lexi didn't know what she would do if she had to pretend not to be with Stiles anymore, after finding out that Allison's mom was watching them through the cameras, she instantly felt bad for them, knowing that they couldn't be themselves all day, or even after school, since the Argents barely let Allison out — they didn't even like their daughter hanging out with the Martin twins anymore, since they were both bitten by Peter during the formal. So, not only was Allison not allowed to see Scott during school hours, but she wasn't even allowed to hang out with Lexi or Lydia, either, and Lexi had all of her sympathy for the girl. Not only that, but Scott's mom had banned Scott from seeing Stiles, too, so the only people who could actually talk, was Lexi, with Scott and Stiles.. "So, where did you learn to read Latin?" Stiles asked Lexi as the two walked down the corridor, on their way to the library to meet up with Scott and Allison to talk in private about what they were going to do about Jackson.

Lexi shrugged, "My grandma taught me and Lydia from a young age before she died, I don't know why, though." She explained, stopping at her locker quickly to grab the file she had translated for Scott and Stiles to read it. "I'm not as good as Lydia, she's way better at translating, but I did what I could." She informed him, handing over the papers with a disappointed look on her face; she wished she had been able to do more, but she wasn't a genius.

"Are you kidding me? This is amazing." Stiles disagreed, taking the papers with an impressed smile on his face. He hated how Lexi doubted herself all of the time; she was the smartest girl he knew, and he hated that she couldn't see it, he wished that he could show Lexi how she really was through his own eyes, and how he saw her. To him, the girl was a literal goddess, and she always had been in his eyes, since the moment he first laid eyes on her in kindergarten.

Lexi couldn't help but smile at Stiles words, loving how he was always so supportive of her no matter what she does; it made her feel good, and a lot more loved than she had ever really felt in her whole life. She loved her parents, and sister, but all they cared about was looks, and how people perceived them, something that Lexi had ceased to care about — being with Stiles made her feel free, and she couldn't thank him enough for how he had made her feel since she had first started talking to him. She was finally admitting that she liked him, a lot, and although it was scary, she knew that it was right, being with him, it felt right, and she knew that he felt the exact same way. "Let's get this to Scott." She said, letting Stiles shove the papers in his backpack before glowing a bright red from Lexi taking his hand in hers, the two beginning to walk down the hallway hand in hand.
Stiles didn't know why Lexi had suddenly began to act more affectionate towards him, but he didn't care, since he loved it so much. He tried to control his sweaty hand as much as he could as the two walked on, never wanting the moment to end, but when they reached the library, he sighed, Lexi letting go of his hand as they finally reached Scott, whom had showed a small smile at the sight of the two holding hands, knowing that Stiles would be immensely happy about it. "I told Stiles that Lydia's better at translating than me, but I tried my best." She explained to Scott, as Stiles handed the papers over to him, since Allison had the tablet with the rest on. "Lydia walked in on me translating this in my room, she was very confused." She informed the two boys and now Allison, who was stood on the other side of the bookshelf.

"What did you tell her?" Scott asked, wondering what Lydia had taken from all of that.

"That we're apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Lexi informed the boy, having known at the time that Lydia would definitely stop questioning her if that was the whole reason; Lydia hated anything to do with gaming, and knew that she wanted nothing to do with what her sister was doing. The girl had left the room the second Lexi said these words, shaking her head in annoyance that her sister was apart of these things now, knowing that it had something to do with Stiles and how he had changed her, and not for the better..

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Stiles spoke up quickly, when Scott and Allison had laughed at Lexi's words. But the second that came out of his mouth, he regretted it instantly, not knowing why he would say that to the girl he was practically in love with. However, when he turned to face her, the girl was merely smiling up at him, actually finding it cute how he was apart of something like that, and it further proved her point that Stiles was just the kindest soul.

"I'd love to see that, actually." Lexi informed him, having always loved the idea of being apart of something like that. Her words shocked Stiles to no end, as well as Scott, who both looked at her in surprise, but the girl merely shrugged, "What? It sounds fun." She defended herself, not knowing why the boys were looking at her like that.

Scott shook his head to get his mind back to where they were talking about Jackson, "Okay, does it say how to find out who's controlling him?" He asked, changing the subject immediately as Lexi looked down at the paper and Stiles carried on staring at her like he had just seen light for the first time. Scott quickly nudged Stiles subtly, giving him a look as to tell him to stop being weird and staring.

"Not really." Allison said, looking down at her tablet at the words that Lexi had translated all last night in her room. "But Stiles was right about the murderers." She said, looking over at her two friends and secret boyfriend.

"Yes!" Stiles cheered, a little too loud that made some people look over weirdly at them, wondering why they were conversing in what looked like, secret, in the school library; it looked very strange from an outsiders view.

"It calls the Kanima a weapon of vengeance. There's a story in there about this South American priest who uses the Kanima to execute murderers in his village." Allison further explained, glad that Lexi had managed to translate the backstory of the Kanima, they would be nowhere without her.

"All right, see? So maybe it's not that bad." Stiles spoke up, interrupting Allison's story on the Kanima's backstory.

Lexi gave the boy a look, raising her brow at the fact he could say that this wasn't bad, "It's not that bad, until the bond started to grow between the master and the creature even more until it started to kill anyone it wanted to." She informed Stiles, who immediately closed his mouth at her words, regretting the words that had come out of his mouth, knowing that he should really let people speak before interrupting.

"Okay, that's.. Thats very bad, then." Stiles said, shaking his head in disbelief.

Allison nodded, "Here's the thing, though. The Kanima's actually supposed to be a werewolf. But it can't be.." She further explained, stopping when a teacher stopped besides her to put a book back in the shelf, she carried on when the woman had walked away, "Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it." She finished explaining, having spent all night rereading the pages over and over again to try and make sense of it all.

"Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could've told you that myself." Stiles informed the three of them, knowing that Jackson was a complete ass and clearly had something go wrong in his life that made him that way. Lexi stayed quiet, not knowing if Jackson's backstory had a reason behind this whole thing; but the boy didn't remember a single thing, and it was only in the records, his parents knowing, too.. But she just didn't know how it could possibly be connected, and Jackson was happy to some extent, with his parents and how much they loved him.

"What if, it has something to do with his parents?" Allison asked, making Lexi's heart stop beating in fear that they were going to ask her something. The girl liked to keep the secrets people had confided in her with, and she never spilt them; to spill Jackson's secret would go against everything, and he would hate her for the rest of their lives.. "His real parents?" Allison continued.

"Yeah, does anybody actually know what happened to them?" Stiles asked, having never heard of what happened to them before.

It was then, did they all look towards Lexi, knowing that the girl must know something about Jackson and what happened to his real parents. "Guys.. " Lexi trailed off, looking at all of them with an annoyed look, "Is it really necessary to know what happened to his real parents? Jackson doesn't even remember them." She said, hoping that his parents wasn't the answers they were looking for. She just couldn't bring herself to tell them what happened, it would go against everything she thought of herself, and would mean that she had broken her promise to Jackson — as much as he was horrible as of lately, she still couldn't turn her back on him like that, it felt like she was breaking the law in some way.

"So you know what happened to his real parents?" Scott asked, excitement lacing in his veins that they would finally be able to figure out his backstory and learn about why the boy was a Kanima with a master, it would solve everything.

Lexi sighed, "I mean, to some extent, yeah. But.. Saying it out loud feels wrong." She explained, hoping that they would understand, but by the looks on their faces, she knew that they didn't understand at all. "What if me and Allison go and talk to him? Maybe he'll tell her and that way, I'm not breaking my promise." She suggested, hoping that they would go along with that idea. The girl just didn't want to get killed for spilling the beans on something that had nothing to do with her.

Scott eventually nodded his head, knowing that Jackson had always had a thing for Allison.. "Okay, what do I do?" He asked.

"You have a makeup exam, remember?" Allison informed him, as Stiles turned to Lexi with an unsure look.

"Are you sure about this? He's dangerous right now, I don't want you to get hurt." Stiles told her, hating the mere idea of the girl going near Jackson.

Lexi nodded, "I don't really know the whole story that well, so maybe Jackson will explain it to me.. It's our best bet." She explained, noticing the worried look on Stiles face. "I'll be fine, Stiles." She told him, taking his hand again and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

Although, she didn't exactly believe in those words herself.
