So much for the perfect date.
The ride on the way back from the restaurant had been incredibly frustrating, considering we seemed to hit every red light possible. No matter how desperately I tried to keep my spirits, it was undeniable that the night had been ruined.
Taehyung hadn't peeped a word the whole time since we had left the restaurant and it made me feel uneasy. What kind of thoughts was running through his head? He was definitely angry, I could tell that much. When I thought about it, from his point of view he had only seen me and Jimin argue over something. He had no idea that Tiffany had been there too and I wasn't going to tell him either, wanting to keep her privacy.
Her terrified expression had imprinted on my mind, making my gut twirl. She looked genuinely scared, but of what? I had never thought Jimin to be a violent person. He wasn't going to really harm her, was he?
Anyways, it wasn't really her fault that he'd misled her into thinking he had feelings for her. He was a liar. I imagined this was how he got all those girls to go to bed with him. Perhaps she had been just another number for him.
Just like he confessed he had feelings for you? a little voice whispered in the back of my head.
I should stop thinking about this and focus on the matter at hand which was Taehyung.
But how do I explain the situation then, without telling him about Tiffany and Jimin? My frantic thoughts crashed around my brain chaotically as I searched for the right words.
Being fully aware of how unpredictable Taehyung could be, I still felt scared to talk to him about this. I was honestly surprised that he hadn't blown up when we were in the restaurant. Oddly enough, he had somehow kept it together but I knew how difficult this probably was for him. After all, as I recollected the time when he and Jimin got into a literal fist fight in front of my apartment building, I remembered that Taehyung had been the one to lay the first punch.
I gulped at the memory. Seeing both of them hurt each other just made me sick.
Unaware of where Taehyung was driving us, I hadn't noticed him turning the Mercedes into an underground garage. Judging by how abruptly our date night had ended, I was left under the impression that he was driving me home, but by the looks of it, he had planned differently.
"Where are we?" I frowned, shifting into my seat to face him.
"We're going to my place," he shrugged casually as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Letting me know might have been nice," I muttered while getting out of the car, slamming the door shut a little bit more roughly that I intended to. Taehyung just gestured to me wordlessly to follow him to an elevator, none of us saying a word throughout the silent ride. A high-pitched chime broke the silence as the elevator announced we had arrived at the last floor.
So deep in thought, I hadn't noticed the building Taehyung had driven us to. The elevator opened up directly to an extremely lavish and luxurious penthouse that probably costed more than I could earn in the span of 10 years. The place was decorated in bright and modern colors and as I let my eyes roam the room, my gaze accidentally cast over the spacious balcony with an amazing view of the ocean calmly reflecting the beautiful night sky.
"Come here," he purred, taking off his coat and throwing it on the beige leather couch. "I want you to see something," he took me by the hand and I noticed he sounded a lot calmer now, which filled me with relief.
He led me through the French doors to the balcony and I couldn't suppress the gasp that came out of my mouth. My gaze cast over a large infinity pool, its vanishing-edge seeming like it was merging with the ocean.
"This is beautiful," the words left my mouth almost automatically as I couldn't hide my astonishment. "Taehyung, your place looks amazing," I was genuinely impressed and wondered whether he was the one that had decorated it. He certainly had style.
"It looks even more amazing with you in it," before I could turn around and snicker at his cheesiness, I felt a pair of hands snake their way around my waist as he wrapped me up in his embrace, his chest pressing against my back.
"You're so cliché," I grinned, pretending that his words didn't leave me completely flustered and I was thankful that right now he couldn't see how pink my cheeks were.
The way his grip around my waist tightened ignited a spark of hopefulness in my mind that the night hadn't been completely ruined after all.
Slowly, one of his hands ran up to the left strap of my dress, gently pushing it down over my shoulder, then doing the same with the other. My heart rate spiked as my breath got stuck in my throat, I was anticipating what he was about to do next. Then I felt him pull down the zipper on the back of my dress very slowly.
"What are you doing?" I said breathlessly, glancing over my shoulder to look at Taehyung. His whole face had shifted to a sly, devilish expression as he traced my spine with his fingertips.
"I'm unpacking my present," he bit his lower lip, his velvety voice washing over me like melting honey. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I felt his breath close to my skin and I shivered when he withdrew, leaving me breathless and walking around to stand in front of me.
Before I could even process what was happening, he unbuttoned his shirt and threw it on one of the lounge chairs next to the pool. He unbuckled his belt and removed his jeans with one swift motion and jumped into the pool with a light splash.
"Won't you join me?" he asked once his head resurfaced on the water, his lustrous hazel hair dripping over his shoulders as he reached his hand out invitingly, his fingers curling and uncurling in an urging motion. "I promise I won't drown you," he smirked.
"I didn't realize our plans for tonight included swimming," I nibbled on my lower lip hesitantly but still pulled down my halfway unzipped dress and got out of my uncomfortable heels. I shuddered when my bare feet hit the cold tiles. Timidly, I tiptoed to the edge of the pool, sitting on it and letting my legs feel the cool water.
"I don't think you know how swimming works," Taehyung threw his head back into a fit of genuine laughter, his eyes glistening with amusement. "You have to insert your whole body into the water."
"Oh, really, I'd never think of that!" I exclaimed, rolling my eyes sarcastically and shaking my head with the dramatic motion of a veteran actor. "Thank you for explaining it to me, Taehyung, what would I ever do without-"
"Come over here, you smartass," Taehyung cut me off, shortening the distance between us in less than a second, and grabbed me by the wrist, pulling me into the water before I could even protest.
I squealed upon feeling the cool water engulf my body, all my muscles tightening before I could adjust to the temperature. I took in a deep exhale, widening my eyes at him. "Taehyung!" as much as I tried to sound mad at him, I couldn't suppress a giggle as my lips stretched into a broad smile. "What did you do that for?"
"I'm not a patient person, Y/N," his eyes illuminated by the dimmed lights encircling the swimming pool, he came closer and his hand darted to my face, pressing softly against my cheek. "I take what I want, when I want it."
"Is it me that you want?" I breathed out, locking my gaze with him, suddenly overcome by this strange desire to know what was going on inside his head. He'd never said what exactly his intentions about me were and as much as I didn't want to think about it, it was eating me up inside. He had said I meant a lot to him, but what exactly did that mean? Did he only want to pass the time with me, have his fun whenever he pleased, or was it something bigger?
"Yes," Taehyung simply said and the strings around my heart contracted. At this moment I realized how eager I was to hear this confirmation come from him. I chose to relish in his touch instead of doubting him, but the questions continued to pile one after another in my head. In which way exactly did he want me?
A slight panic took over me as the realization dawned on me – perhaps my feelings for him were stronger than I expected, no matter how much I tried to ignore them at first. He had hurt me not once, but yet I was still here with him. What did that say of me?
What if he hurts me again?
"I want you," he added, probably wanting to sound more sincere. He inched closer to my face, so close that we were sharing breath. I felt his hands travel to the small of my back under the water, tracing small circles and going south where he gripped my hips softly, lifting me up effortlessly.
"Taehyung," I whispered, taking in a staggering breath and encircling my legs around him, my arms enveloping his neck loosely.
"No other woman has ever made me feel this way," he admitted, probably in the heat of the moment, but I took it as all the confirmation I needed from him at that time. My mind clouded by a burning desire, I was already desperate for him to kiss me.
Instantaneously, he silenced whatever I had in mind to say to that, and collided his lips with mine. My eyelashes grew heavier with every wave of bliss that came over me from that mesmerizing kiss. He pressed me even harder towards himself with his strong hands while taking a few steps in the water until my back was pressed to the wall of the pool.
A small groan escaped him when I bit his lower lip teasingly, fully aware of the effect that had on him. His eyes rose to meet mine and stared me down with an intensity that had never been there the previous times we were together. His lips quickly reclaimed mine, meshing together with them, as he tugged on a fistful of my wet hair and tilted my head to the side so that he could deepen the kiss, our tongues moving against each other and intertwining in a teasing, sensual dance.
"I want you too," I gasped in between shaky breaths as his lips trailed small flickers of warmness to my jaw and then to my neck. The way he nipped on the area caused me to arch my back involuntarily, his strong arms around my body keeping my spine curved even more. "Oh God, Taehyung," I dug my teeth into my lower lip, trying to muffle my moans.
"Hearing you moan my name is the best sound I've ever heard," he growled and glanced up to smirk at me. He cupped my cheeks a little bit more roughly, forcing me to look at him. "I want you to moan for me, baby girl, only for me, you hear me?" his voice was authoritative and commanding. He got me there, trapped in his embrace, but I had no intention of trying to break free.
I gave a faint nod as my whole body went limp when he pressed his erection into me teasingly. My breath got stuck in my throat and I felt as though the earth had rolled off its axis when he suddenly pushed into me. His thrusts were slow, agonizingly slow, but still managed to chase away all the air I had in my lungs.
Contrary to how urgent the last time we were together felt, this had been more sensual, more gentle. This only intensified my arousal further, sending my mind into a frenzy. The sound of the small splashes of the water around us that our movements caused became distant noises once I felt him fill me up completely.
"You feel so good," Taehyung purred next to my ear, his voice laced with tender affection while he nibbled on my ear lobe. His deep, velvety voice sounded even sweeter when breathless and I tightened my grip around him, my excitement slowly peaking.
"Taehyung," I muttered as the ball of warmness between my legs started to grow with each passing second.
"I could make love to you all night long," he mumbled and with my mind in a state of short-circuit, I didn't even notice his choice of words. I shut my eyes inadvertently when I felt him rub on my bundle of nerves with his thumb, a powerful wave of pleasure spreading all over my trembling body, overwhelming me and making me squirm and quiver in his arms.
"Taehyung, I'm close-" I stuttered and before I could say anything else, he picked up the pace of his thrusts, helping me reach my earth-shattering climax. A succulent moan snaked its way up my throat as the familiar wave of blissful delight came over me.
It wasn't long before he reached his release too, his body going loose in my arms as he struggled to regain his breath.
"Fuck, Y/N, this was-" he panted, unable to control his ragged breathing.
I grinned, removing a wet strand of hair that had fallen over my face. "I guess we should go for a swim more often."
"I completely agree," Taehyung offered me a soft smile before his lips found mine again.

"See you tonight," I said, smiling at Taehyung as he pulled over in front of my apartment building to drop me off on the way to dance practice.
"See you," a wide grin painted over his lips. "Make sure to get some rest today. After last night, you must be exhausted," a mischievous spark ignited in his chocolate orbs.
"Yeah, swimming in that pool was a real work-out," I tried to stifle my smirk and look serious but a small laugh escaped my mouth.
"I was thinking we could have a movie marathon tonight," Taehyung shrugged, tapping on the steering wheel with his long slender fingers as the car engine still ran idly.
"Deal," I beamed at him before he planted a small peck on my cheek. Feeling shy all of a sudden, I bid him goodbye before grabbing my purse and hopping out of the car.
I heard the Mercedes roar behind me as Taehyung started driving again, disappearing behind the corner. I couldn't help the enormous smile that grew on my face. Despite the initial 'inconvenience' at the restaurant, we had still managed to make last night a night to remember, at least for me.
Unaware of my surroundings, I started walking towards the entrance when I felt a solid grip on my arm, a startled squeal forcing its way up my throat.
My initial shock quickly evaporated when Jimin appeared in front of me and was instead replaced by a new wave of flaring irritation.
"What is it with you sneaking up on me so often?!" I grumbled and knit my eyebrows upon noticing the dark circles that hugged his usually bright and lively eyes. His usually fashionably styled hair was messy and disheveled. Today, he looked like he hadn't slept all night. "What are you doing here? I don't want to see you," I deadpanned, determined to not let him ruin the good mood Taehyung had put me in.
"I have to talk to you," Jimin breathed out. He looked seriously conflicted, or was I imagining things?
"Why? Are you here to convince me of the real feelings you have for me again? Save it, Jimin, I'm not buying it anymore."
"Why are you so mean to me? Am I so hateful?" he let out an exasperated sigh, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I'm mean to you because you were so eager to lie to me and tell me you felt something for me while still toying around with other girls," I clenched my jaw. "You're a liar, Jimin. You lied to me, and you lied to Tiffany. Don't think I don't know what has happened between you two. I know you were hooking up with her until she fell in love with you and then you decided you were fed up with her, throwing her away like you do with all of your sextoys," I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"You really have no idea how wrong you are about that," he looked so frustrated that my stomach turned upside down.
"Don't I? Because I think I at least got that right about you. You are toxic and I don't want to spend another second in your presence," I scrunched my nose.
"I swear to God, you are the most annoying girl I've ever met," Jimin hissed, an exasperated sigh leaving his mouth. "You don't know how oblivious you are."
"Oh, really? Well if you don't have any intention of enlightening me, then I think we're done here. Don't talk to me ever again," I spun on my heel abruptly, hurriedly rummaging through my purse to find my keys, desperate to get away from Jimin as soon as possible.
Before I could to that, he reached for my arm and turned me around, jerking me slightly.
"Get off me!" I fumed, trying to yank myself off of his firm grip but he was stronger than me, refusing to let me go. "If you don't let go of me right now-"
His hands ran up to grab my shoulders, shaking them.
"Y/N," Jimin's voice was quiet as he looked at me with wide eyes. "Tiffany is Taehyung's ex."
