What wash day looks like:

-Him helping you take down your braids/weave/twists/etc

-Surprised when you change your hairstyle every week/two weeks/month

"Damn, how many hairstyles have you done? I love it. It's like I'm with a different Y/N every week."

-Buying you expensive hair products

-Avoiding the bathroom on Sundays when you do your hair care routine

"Babe, I'm just gonna use the bathroom downstairs," Oakley said looking inside the bathroom.

Y/N looked up from the sink. Her hair was parted into sections. The bottom half was covered in foam as she raked her hands through her hair. Combs, brushes, and clips were scattered over the countertop.

"Are you sure? I can move over." Y/N said innocently taking another section down.

Oakley shook his head, "Nah, I'm good!"

-Carefully playing with your hair

"I don't wanna undo the curl or ruin the shape."

-Buying you custom bonnets

-Satin pillowcases and silk sheets

"Babe look! It matches your bonnet. I got them in every color."

-Being a bit upset that he can't pull on your hair during sex

"If you pull on it, it's gonna get messed up. I paid way too much."

-No sex when you get a silk press in the winter

"Sorry, I just got it pressed yesterday."

-Buying new toothbrushes because you keep taking them for your edges/hair

-Him going to the beauty store with you

-Him getting really involved in Black hair care

"Don't use that! It has silicones in it. Use this one, I heard it's much better"

-Him using some of your products

Y/N lifted up her TGIN bottle of conditioner. She turned if over sighing at how empty it felt. She pulled the shower curtain back shouting, "Babe, did you use my conditioner again?"

Oakley stuck his head in the bathroom looking sorry, "My bad, baby. It made my hair feel good as hell though."
