" I am scared kirti. He is becoming more and more creepy with each passing day." Naira spoke anxiously. Kirti was concerned as well.
"Seriously, like what is his problem. Why is doing all this!!!! I am dead scared too Naira." confessed kirti. Naira looked up at her.
"And he was talking about some surprise yesterday!!! Kirti I don't know what's going in his head!!!! I hope i don't land in trouble because of him." Naira said. Kirti nodded.
"I think you should tell everything to your family."
"No Kirti.....Mr. Varma has done so much for my family. He even saved my brother from a prison sentence. I can't risk my family's safety." Naira argued ruefully. Kirti looked at her for a second.
"Don't you think Naira that since this man has came into your lives, a lot of bad things are happening with your family??? And he just comes to save you all at the right moment. I smell something fishy." Kirti said softly. Naira gasped loudly.
"Maybe you are right but I can't blame him just like that. I mean he has helped my family a lot and he even brought me back to my home, not many kidnappers do that." Naira told her hesitantly.
"Naira believe me, this man is upto something dangerous. I don't like him at all." Kirti warned her. Naira looked up at her aghast.

During the recess, Naira and Kirti were walking to the canteen to have lunch. However in the college premises, they met somebody quite familiar. Naira immediately seized Kirti's hand and stood frozen on her spot. Kirti, at first understood nothing.
"Naira are you ok???" asked kirti worried. Naira's eyes were wide like saucers as she saw him standing right across her.
"It's him...." she whispered fearfully. Kirti gasped and looked in the front. What she saw was a handsome man with thick black hairs, razor sharp jawline, high cheekbones and dressed up in a modest three piece suit. Kirti believed that the man was somewhere in his mid 30s yet he looked pretty handsome and charming. But she wouldn't get swayed by his looks after all he's threatening her best friend for days now. He had a broad smile plastered on his face as he made his way to them.
"Good morning Naira and I believe you are her best friend.....kirti is your name if I am not mistaken!!!" he said sweetly, his hands stuffed in his pockets. Kirti was shocked, how does he know about her??? Maybe Naira told him.
"Good....morning..." Naira stuttered. Narasimha chuckled.
"How's the day going?? I hope the teachers aren't boring the crap out of you." he asked politely. From around, the students were passing surprised glances at their direction. This was sure, Naira was about to become famous all thanks to this man.
"I am enjoying my time here..." Naira kept her reply short. Kirti wanted to yell at him to leave but he didn't look like he would entertain that kind of behaviour from her.
"Well that's great, I have came to pick you up. Nilima is occupied in some urgent work given to her by her boss. By the time you can 100% corroborate this by asking your parents, in case you don't believe what I am saying." Narasimha told her. Naira gasped loudly.
"What!!!! No.....Nilima didi would never allow that....let me call her." Naira stuttered as she quickly dialled her sister's number. After a ring or two, Nilima answered.
"Yes Naira quick.... I am busy..." she already sounded in a hurry on the phone.
"Didi did you ask Mr. Varma to pick me up???" she queried. Narasimha looked pretty chilled out.
"You know I would never say that....i asked dad to do that but he was more busy than me. Therefore we resorted to asking Narasimha for help..... i hate that man but I got no choice. Just keep your phone on ok and send your live location to me while you're with him. If he acts like a creep just call me, I will murder him. Now I have to go, take care. Bye." Nilima said and hung up. Naira looked up at him nervously, he had a smirk on his lips.
"Told you!!" he smiled overconfidently. Naira looked at kirti and then at him.
"But I still have classes left." she told him.
"Oh dear I know!!! But I won't be available when your college gets over as I have some work to do. Therefore you have to come with me now." he told her cunningly.
"I can ask my father to drop her." Kirti pitched in. Narasimha controlled the urge to punch her. I mean you aren't supposed to hit a woman no matter how powerful you are.
"No Kirti, her family has asked me to do that. C'mon Naira hurry up." he said to her seriously. Naira looked up at him nervously.

Narasimha Varma was not a man of his words, Naira had realised that after knowing him for a few days now. He told her that he was taking her home yet he drove to a cozy looking cafe instead of her home. At first she was horrified but then she realised the cafe was decently populated and there were people on the street outside the cafe as well, which meant she was safe.
"Um you said you were taking me home!!" she asked him a little nervous. He chuckled as he helped her out of his Bugatti.
"I will but first let's grab a bite, I am sure you must be hungry." he told her. That wasn't a complete lie, I mean she sure was hungry.

So they both went inside the nice cafe and he sweetly pulled out a chair for her. Surprisingly their table were already booked and there was a fresh bouquet of flowers waiting for them on the table.
"Thank God they are still fresh. I told them beforehand that I am going to shoot them if the flowers weren't super fresh." he said as he chuckled before offering the bouquet to her. Naira felt uncomfortable. Like she has never been given any flowers by any man before and even though this man was a lot older than her, yet he was a man and a single man.
"It's ok....you don't need to..."
"I got this for you Naira. And what do you mean I don't need to, I mean who else can give you flowers other than me!!" his voice was darker now, a bit rough too. Naira took one look at his face and realised that he wouldn't appreciate if she tries to throw a tantrum. Therefore she quietly accepted the bouquet.
"That's my good girl." he smiled and said.

He ordered lots of food for her. He ordered burgers, pasta Alfredo, tacos, donuts, loaded fries, pizza and strawberry shake. Naira alone couldn't finish everything and he didn't even ask her to.
"You had a friend called Payal. I didn't see her with you today??" he asked sipping on his coffee. He only got a coffee for himself. He was on a strict diet and was avoiding fast foods just to stay in good shape. He was aware of his age and knew that Naira would not accept a 30+ man until he looks good and attractive. He genuinely wanted people to have one look at them and say they are a perfect couple and are made for each other. For that he was ready to make all the sacrifices he can.
"We don't talk to her anymore, besides she often bunks college and meets her boyfriend out somewhere." she told innocently, enjoying her pasta. His eyebrows came together.
"And she was your friend!!! Naira dear you shouldn't make such kind of friends....they are a bad influence." he advised her, pissed that a girl like her was around his baby girl. It isn't a crime to have a boyfriend while you are in a college, it's just that lying to your parents, who by the way toil day and night to pay for your studies, and ignoring your studies is going to lead you nowhere. And let's just agree that she isn't a stupid teenager in her early teen years knowing nothing about career or dignity of her family, the least you can do for your parents is not lie to them frequently as if they are your enemies.
"I wasn't aware of this when I first met her. Now when she know I don't talk to her at all." she told him honestly. He nodded.

After she ate, and couldn't eat anymore, she looked at Narasimha, hoping now they could leave. I mean he only said that he has some work to do.
"Can we go??" she asked softly. He kept his phone aside and looked at her and smiled.
"Yes sure we can." he said as he held her hand and helped her stand up.

When they both reached her home, her brother was outside the house pruning bushes in the garden. As soon as he saw Narasimha, he smiled and asked him to come inside. Naira was so sure that he would say no because he had work to do but to her surprise, he actually complied and came in. He was received warmly by her family and her mother asked him to sit while she makes him a coffee. Naira again thought he would refuse because he already had drank a coffee in the cafe, this time too she was proven wrong as he happily accepted the offer. Naira couldn't understand why he would behave like a yes man around her family. I mean he isn't naturally like this, and she is right since she had lived in his house for days and she knows the true character of this man. However, thinking no further, she excused herself and left for her bedroom. After all it's better to sleep than sit and stare at his face for no reason. No sooner had she left, Narasimha went after her on the pretext of using the washroom. But he didn't use the washroom, instead he showed up at Naira's doorstep, which literally took her by surprise.
"Mr. Varma, do you want something??" she asked softly. He stared at her a little longer before answering.
"Don't worry I shall take what I want with or without your permission!!!" he spoke creepily. Naira felt uncomfortable. I mean that was kind of rude in the first place, you do require permission to take something from somebody. Only if innocent Naira knew that people like him don't need permission from anyone, they buy what they like and take what they want.
"Can I help you with something??" she asked again, hoping he would leave. Instead he came inside, looking around her room.
"Your room is very beautiful, just like you." he said creepily. Naira again was ill at ease.
"Thank you." she replied casually.
"Do you like me Naira??" he asked abruptly, taking her by surprise. She looked at him in disgust.
"I don't understand." she replied. He seized her wrist and she looked at him in horror.
"Answer the damn question." he hissed angrily. She gulped. Should she say no??? What if he gets real pissed off if she said that???
"Um...you are a nice person. You helped my family." she thanked her brain for coming up with a logical answer. He released her wrist and smiled at her, making it hard for her to believe that he hot with anger just a second ago.
"Aww!! That's so sweet. Come here!!" and he engulfed her in a gentle hug. Naira stood frozen in his arms, too scared to react. Quite a few things were clear to her now, one- Narasimha Varma being left on read, two- Narasimha Varma has bipolar disorder, three- Narasimha Varma cannot hear No as an answer and four- Narasimha Varma is unstoppable. And by every way, Naira Dhariwal was ought to fret for her life.
