CASSIE WOKE UP IN A really good mood today, she just knew that she was going to have a great day at school, she had a good feeling about it, and she was excited to hang out with her best friend in the whole world, Ellie. She was currently bouncing down the stairs, fully dressed with her school bag, and made her way to the kitchen to grab herself a breakfast bar for a snack, not feeling hungry enough for a full meal. Cassie wasn't much of a morning eater.

Her dad had already left to go to work earlier on the morning, like he did every other morning, leaving Stiles, Malia and Cassie, the only ones home, to get to school. She liked how much her dad trusted her and Stiles to get to school, and that they wouldn't ditch, and she wouldn't trade that trust for anything, hence why she doesn't ditch.
She was ready for school before Stiles and Malia were, which didn't really surprise her that bush, as they aren't the best when it came to being on time for anything, in that matter - they were both terrible with timing.
She was waiting, currently sat in the kitchen, browsing through her phone messages from school friends, just as Stiles came into the room, fully dressed and ready for school, just like his sister was.

"You ready?" Stiles asked her, pulling his bag up as he prepared for a day of school ahead of him. After everything that had happened with Derek, it felt weird going back to school and pretending like everything was okay. Though, he was incredibly glad that Derek was back to his adult self, as he wouldn't be flirting with his little sister any longer - when Derek found out what teenage him had done, he couldn't help but cringe at himself, he felt disgusted. He had to assure Stiles that he had thought he was her age at the time, and that he would never even think of Cassie that way, and eventually, Stiles forgave him.

Cassie nodded at her brother, with a mouthful of breakfast bar as she was munching on it. She grabbed her bottle of water from the side, shoving it in her bag, before she followed Stiles out of the house and to his jeep, where Malia was already waiting for the two of them so they could leave. She instantly climbed into the back seat as Stiles opened the door, and pulled out her phone to browse, so she didn't have to talk to Malia, who still got her name wrong at every chance she got. She didn't know what was so hard to remember 'Cassie'.

"Hey Casey." Malia greeted, giving her a slight smile.

Cassie was shocked that she smiled at her directly, as normally she would normally just brush her off and mostly pretend that she wasn't there. She opened her mouth to correct her name once again and let her know that it wasn't Casey, but she eventually thought against it, knowing that the girl would never get it right, and there was absolutely no point in trying. "Malia." She eventually smiled back, nodding at her brothers girlfriend of a few months..
Stiles gave her an apologetic smile, which she had shrugged at, knowing it didn't exactly bother her anymore, it was just a daily occurrence at this point, as Stiles started up the car and drove off in the direction of their school. "So, did you guys have fun in Mexico?" Cassie asked from the backseat, as she forgot to ask about the trip they took, yesterday, as she was busy with homework and couldn't be bothered to go to Stiles room.

Malia suddenly looked at Stiles in confusion as to why he had told her they had gone to Mexico; while he simply shrugged at her in reply, both knowing that he didn't actually tell her what they were doing there.
"It was alright." Stiles eventually answered Cassie.

"Dad's not happy with you." Cassie told him, with a knowing smirk on her face, "And it wasn't even me who told him that you went there." She said, smiling mischievously.
She had then remembered that he didn't even get grounded for going to another country without permission, and sighed in complete annoyance, "How is it that you get away with everything, and I got grounded for a whole two weeks for having one drink with Ellie, that one time." She complained, annoyed that Stiles got away with everything whilst she was still punished for the smallest things.

"I don't get away with everything." Stiles instantly denied, looking back at her with a look of disbelief, "And it was more than just one drink." He told her, remembering that night like it was yesterday - he had to go and pick her up with their dad as she could barely walk anymore, and he had never seen their dad so mad before, and he had done a lot of things that Noah didn't like in his lifetime.

Cassie snorted at his retort, "You went to Mexico." She told him in annoyance, "Without telling dad, can I add, and you didn't even get grounded. And hey, it was one drink! I just happen to be a light weight." She then defended, leaning back into the seats in complete defeat, knowing that there was no use in arguing with him as he mostly always won. That's what annoyed her about her brother; he never liked to be wrong, and when he could prove he was right, he would do so, no matter the outcome..

Stiles looked at Malia for some guidance in this argument, who shrugged at him, not knowing what to say, as she barely knew the girl in the backseat. Stiles knew that his dad wasn't as tough on him because he knew about the supernatural and he knew what Stiles had to do with Scott and the whole pack; but Cassie knew nothing, so their dad wanted to keep her safe and out of harms way, to keep her safe. After all, if Cassie found out about any of this stuff, she would most definitely want to help out and keep her family safe, and they couldn't have that - she needed to stay out of it all.
"I'm older." Was all Stiles could eventually come up with, he didn't want his sister knowing anything about the supernatural as it would just be too dangerous for her, so he just carried on lying to her, no matter how bad he felt. It was the right thing to do..

Not wanting to start another argument where she would just loose again, Cassie leaned further back into her seat and pulled out her phone, to text Ellie and black out her brother and his girlfriend in the front seats, "Yeah, yeah." She muttered to him, as he looked in the mirror in sympathy and guilt, always feeling bad that he had to keep so much from her. Cassie was his life, and it was the same with Scott, as he thought of Cassie as a younger sister also - they would never forgive themselves if she ended up getting hurt because of them and their supernatural drama.

'You nearly here?' Ellie text Cassie, having waited at the front of the school for quite a while.

'Yeah. You need to hurry up and pass your drivers test so you can start driving us into school.' Cassie text back, letting Ellie know that she was annoyed with Stiles yet again.
It would be a continuous thing at this point, where Cassie and Stiles would have an argument and not talk, then pretend it didn't happen a few days later. But then again, they were siblings, and isn't that what they do?

'Why don't you pass, fussy pants.' Ellie text back.

'I would if I could be bothered. Besides, I have Stiles as my personal taxi diver.' Cassie text her.

'Right.' Ellie text.

By the time Cassie had put her phone back into her bag, they were at the school, and were now parked up in the parking lot. "I'll see you guys later. Thanks for the lift." Cassie said to Stiles and Malia, happily, forgetting the small argument that happened five minutes ago, as she climbed out after Malia and stalked away from the couple, quickly.
Stiles sighed as he watched her go - he had a feeling that this year would be different, and that something was going to happen, he could feel it in his gut and he just wished that he didn't. He would die for his sister, and that was a fact..

Cassie spotted Ellie as she walked to the front doors of the building, who was currently checking girls out, by the entrance of the school, not being secretive one bit, "You know, if you want to keep your sexuality a secret, checking girls out at the front of the school, for everyone to see, isn't the best way to go." Cassie smirked at her as she approached.

Ellie playfully slapped her arm before linking their arms together and walking through the school with a smile, "Shut up." She chuckled, "I doubt it's even a secret even more, I mean look at me." Ellie said, motioning to herself and what she wore. It was no secret that the two were incredibly different - Cassie liked wearing skirts and cute shoes, whereas Ellie didn't exactly care what she looked like, so she dressed in jeans and jumpers most day's, but she was absolutely gorgeous, and Cassie was so jealous that she didn't look like her.

Cassie laughed at her answer as they walked down the busy hallway with confidence, that is something that Lydia had told her when she first joined the same school as her; if you wanted to be popular, be confident, that was the key.
"What have you got first period?" Cassie asked Ellie, as they approached Ellie's locker to get some things out for their lessons ahead of them.

"Biology, you?" Ellie asked, pulling some biology books from her locker.

"Spanish." Cassie told her, with a smile. She loved Spanish, it was one of her favourite lessons, mostly because she was great at it.

"Right, well good luck with that, see you at lunch." Ellie told her, as Cassie began to walk away and towards her own locker to get her own books. Cassie and Ellie didn't have that many lessons together, only around one or two, but the two managed to stay best friends no matter what.

"See 'ya." Cassie called out, as she began to make her way to her own locker, already counting down the hours until she could next hang out with her best friend.

As she approached her own locker, she saw Mason already standing there, with another boy, who Cassie had never seen here before. When Mason looked up and saw Cassie approaching, a wide smile spread across his face at the sight of one of his best friends whom he loved dearly.
"Cass!" He called, as she came over, a similar smile on her face at seeing the boy.

The new boy had turned around at Mason's call out and widened his eyes at the sight of the beautiful Stilinski girl. There was a lot of girls at this school, but he hadn't seen anyone as beautiful as this girl stood in front of him.
"Hey Mase." Cassie greeted, waving her hand slightly, before coming to a stop next to Mason. "Who's this?" She then asked, motioning to the boy next to him who she had instantly noticed as a new student, maybe the one whom Ellie had told her about a few days before hand.

"This, is Liam." Mason announced, introducing his new friend who he already felt were going to be close, "He's new here." He told her, with a smile.

"Oh." Cassie exclaimed, remembering what Ellie had told her the other day; however, she didn't mention anything about that, as she didn't know if he would feel embarrassed at being kicked out of his old school because of what he did. After she pulled a textbook out of her locker after opening it up, she turned to face Liam, "I'm Cassie." She told him, "Welcome to our school, I guess." She said, with a welcoming smile, knowing that it must be hard coming to a new school where everyone already knew each other.

"Thanks." Liam thanked, smiling back at her, already taking a liking to the gorgeous girl in front of him.

Mason put his arm around Cassie's shoulders, now facing Liam, "Liam here, might even run Scott out at his position at team captain." He said, pointing at Liam, having seen the dude play, and he was really good, and that was saying something as Scott was the best player the school had probably ever had..

Cassie raised an eyebrow up at Liam, having doubts that he really would push Scott out of his title, "Really, now?" She asked him, smirking at the idea. She highly doubted that he would be able to outshine Scott, he was the best on the team, and had been for a while now.

"Yup." Liam said, smirking cockily at her, knowing that he was great and it would definitely impress her, "I'm trying out later, you should come and watch." He told her, knowing that the tryouts were during a free period and she would have time.

Cassie smirked at his words, knowing that he wasn't going to beat Scott, but it would be really interesting to see if he was as good as he says he is, "I'll see." She smirked at him, before strutting away, leaving him gawking at her fleeing figure and Mason laughing at his love struck friend.

——

After her Spanish class, Cassie had started walking down the the hallway with her phone in one hand, not paying much attention to anyone that walked by her as she was t bothered one bit. People that knew who she was, instantly moved out of her way as she walked down as they didn't want to get in her way.. It looked like she had made a reputation for herself, a good one indeed, and she would have to thank Lydia for the tips of becoming popular at the beginning of the year, when she next saw her.
That girl had helped her out so much, and Cassie couldn't be more grateful for her - she loved school, she loved the fact that people knew who she was and didn't get in the way, it made her feel like she was in a movie, and it was great.

Her attention was suddenly pulled from her mobile phone as someone had grabbed her elbow and pulled her towards them quite quickly, almost giving her whiplash.
Cassie looked up annoyingly at the person who had grabbed her, only to see Stiles, Scott and the girl she thinks, is Kira, although she voiding be sure, as she hadn't spoken to her much before, just like Malia..
"There's a family axe murderer running around town." Stiles blurted out, quickly, hoping that this would make her want to go home straight after school instead of hanging around with her friends like she usually did..

Instead of the reaction he thought he'd get, Cassie smiled up at him, and he could see the fire of curiosity in her eyes. "Really?" Cassie asked in actual excitement, causing Scott and Kira to give each other a knowing look, now seeing how similar these two siblings actually are.

Stiles rolled his eyes at his sisters words, "Yes. So you need to go straight home after school." He told her, acting like he was her father, which she just wanted to laugh at. Stiles wasn't good at being serious, it's why he never actually was - he was the most sarcastic person that Cassie knew.

Cassie narrowed her eyes at him at his words, feeling slight anger at the fact he thought he could boss her around, "No eres papá, no me digas qué hacer. Si él me dice que me vaya a casa, lo haré." She snapped at him, in full on Spanish.
Stiles, Scott and Kira all looked at her in confusion, wondering what she had just said, when she shook her head in realisation, realising that she had just spoken in full on Spanish.. When they didn't say anything back, only staring at her with strange expressions, she sighed, "I said, you're not dad, so if he tells me to go home after school, I will." She said sassily. "Don't tell me what to do." She said,

She gave Scott and Kira a quick lovely smile, before she began to walk away, only for Stiles to grab her arm once again and pull her back over to them, not done with telling her what to do just yet. She groaned at the sudden pull from her brother. "What is with you and pulling me, today?" Cassie asked him in annoyance.

Stiles ignored her statement and narrowed his eyes at her, "I saw you talking to that Liam kid, you should stay away from him." He told her, seriously; after he saw Liam at practice, he didn't want her near him, and he was going to make sure of that. He didn't trust this kid, and when Scott had told him that Liam was talking about Cassie to some of the guys on the lacrosse team, it just angered him even more. He didn't want his little sister near any boys.

Cassie didn't notice the warning looks that Scott gave Stiles from behind the two of them, as she was looking at him in confusion, "Why would I do that?" Cassie asked him, with an eyebrow raised. "And how do you know I was talking to him?" She asked.

"Because I told you to, and I'm your older brother." Stiles told her sassily, "I know things." He said.

Cassie looked at his serious face, then looked back at Scott, who seemed to be giving Stiles an annoyed look like her own, she broke out into a laugh.
"Yeah, no, not happening." Cassie laughed, before walking away from them, still laughing..
