I wake up and look at my arm, the 20 harsh red lines on both of my arms. No one knows about my cutting the last time I did it was in year 8 the only reason I stopped was because Oliver found out and made me promise not to do it anymore. 

I got ready for another day of school, showering and getting dressed in a black long sleeve and black skinny jeans. I went down to get my breakfast, my mom wasn't there so I assumed she already left for work, there was a note on the counter and it said what I thought and that my breakfast was on the stove. I eat then leave and start on my way to school. I plug my earphones in and listen to my perfect playlist I made that took me ages to perfect.

I arrived at school with 10 minutes left to spare, while walking up the steps I see oliver there. "Hey Oliver."
"Hi?" he says in confusion , why is he confused? "Do I know you?" He asks.

"Ha Ha you're so funny Oliver." I say sarcastically, "it's me, Noah." his eyes widen and he looks me up and down. "Noah! what are you wearing." I look down at myself and I see why he was confused, I usually dress in light clothing not all black. I just shrug and walk into school, he catches up with me and pulls me across the hall to the toilets.

"Noah you better not be doing what I think you're doing."
"What do you mean." I say playing dumb, I knew what he was talking about.

"Don't play dumb, you know what I mean." Oliver starts to reach out for my arm but I jerk it back. "Noah." He says in a warning tone. I shut my eyes and look down for a second before looking back up at him. "It doesn't matter." I say then walk out of the toilets to my first class.

It's now lunch time and I haven't seen Oliver since we were in the toilets, I'll probably see him now. I go straight to my lunch table, I can't be bothered to buy food. I sit down with Carter and Scarlet who are making out with each other, I clear my throat which gets them to stop. "Have you guys seen Oliver?" I ask.

"No we haven't seen him, but I heard from some other guys that he wagged his first classes." Carter says. I sigh and look down at my lap playing my fingers. "I heard he hooked up with Cassady Rickmen." Scarlet says in a hushed voice. My head shoots up and I look at her with my mouth agape, how could he, he said he was done with hooking up with people. 'I gotta go' I mutter.

I run to the toilets and go to the last stall. I slide down the wall to sit on the floor, I don't care how dirty it is right now. I start crying, I feel the tears stream down my face, I try to keep my sobs quiet but I obviously wasn't successful because I hear a voice say, "hello? are you ok in there?" I wipe my eyes and try my best to steady my breathing, with my best voice I reply 'yes' but my voice cracks and I want to slap myself. "Are you sure?" the voice asks. I stand up and unlock the door looking at the person in front of me and the person standing in front of me is none other than Luke Walker.
