-Chapter 69

Jenny's POV

The day following the morning after the wedding, everyone went back to the UK bar Niall and I. Arabella went back with Andrew and Mason, not seeming at all affected at the concept of being separated from us. We stayed with Maura, Niall's mother for a few nights. It was nice to see Niall so content and relaxed just being in his childhood home. It wasn't an extravagant honeymoon, but it was one we enjoyed.

The day we were departing to go home, Niall took control of the tickets and getting around the airport. I didn't question it and following him obligingly, not really paying attention as to where we were going or the labels going on our baggage. I let Niall led us to our gate where we waited to board on the plane.

Once on, I cuddled up next to Niall, resting my head on his chest as we waited for the plane to take of. He pressed his lips to the top of my head, rubbing small circles on my back. I sat up straight when the mandatory, monotonous safety regulations were went through.

"Welcome aboard the flight from Dublin to New York, today..." My eyes widened when I heard this and I immediately glanced to Niall who was watching me with a smug smirk covering his lips.

"New York? Isn't this meant to be to London?"

"Nope," Niall smirked and chuckled quietly. "Surprise babe, you think a honeymoon for our amazing marriage was going to be a few days in Ireland?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Yes, I did," I responded, rather dumbfounded.

"Well, you thought wrong," He patted my knee gently. "Time to explore America," he smiled. "But not too much of it, we can't do too much without Bella," he chuckled and sat back in his seat as the plane prepared to take off. I couldn't restrain the smile that was produced on my face, smiling the whole time the plane took off. Niall just treats me far too well. What did I ever do to deserve him?

The flight proved to be long, tedious and never-ending. I had forgotten how dreadful long-haul flights are. Since having Arabella, I hadn't travelled much considering I wanted to be home with her. I usually got a member of preferred staff to do the travelling for me. Although, recently there hadn't been much of that since the downfall of sales, which was quite daunting to me to think about.

Half way through the flight Niall was bored out of his mind. He'd already watched almost every movie on these planes, they rarely add new ones as it seems. "I should have booked a private jet instead," Niall pressed his lips to my neck and lazily kissed it. I was glad we had a little more privacy here in first class.

"Why?" I chuckled, smiling down at him.

"Because we could have renewed our membership with the Mile High club," he said, sucking gently on my skin, exactly where my sweet-spot was because the little bugger knew exactly where it was. Although, I would hope he did by now. If not, I'd be just slightly worried.

"Well, we're on a plane full of people so I'm sorry, but we can't you horny pig," I giggled, pushing him off.

"Wouldn't you like to take the risk?" He reached forward again and nipped on the skin. i had to hold back a moan.

"I can see the headlines now, 'Niall Horan gets banned from American Airlines because he fucked his wife onboard'," I giggled once I had finished.

"Sounds good to me," he giggled against my skin, reaching forward then and pressing his hand on my stomach. "I wonder is anything happening in here yet?" He questioned as he rubbed it gently. "Do you feel pregnant?" He asked.

"Niall, if there's anything in there right now, it's still counted as a bloody Zygote or whatever they call it, it's not even an embryo yet," I chuckled.

"Jeez, you must have been good at biology," he said, resting his head on my shoulder then, although he didn't move his hand from my stomach. He kept a hold on it, as though he was trying to feel if there was anything happening. He amuses me sometimes, but he's also so cute. He wants this so bad.

"I failed biology actually," I told him which ended in a chuckle from his part.

...

When the plane finally landed after what felt like an eternity, we got a taxi to where we were staying. Niall had probably booked one of the most expensive hotels in New York. It was so extravagant, although I wouldn't want to see the extortionate bill thats inevitable on our bank statement.

"I have a big surprise for you tomorrow," Niall smiled over at me once we were both in bed.

"Oh yeah?" I smiled softly. "What is it?"

"Lad, its a surprise, didn't you hear? A surprise, I can't tell you or it defeats the purpose," he rambled.

"I hate surprises," I sleepily mumbled into my pillow. I peered over at him through half-lidded eyes. Usually, I was very good at begging and begging relentlessly until the other person wanted to shoot me and eventually told me the surprise but this time I was too tired to even try. I guess Niall and I are both impatient in a way. Myself with surprises and him with babies.

Niall leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine gently, lovingly. I knew it was a goodnight kiss, one that was full of love. Sometimes those sweet kisses hold more significance than the most passionate, rough ones which usually resulted in sex.

The following morning, Niall woke me at six in the morning. I honestly wanted to shoot him. I was never a morning person and never will be. That's why being your own boss is great, you don't get in trouble for being late.

"Niall, feck off, it's still the middle of the night," I whined, covering my eyes with my arm to shield my eyes from the light coming through the window where Niall had opened the curtains. The bugger.

"You need to get up or you'll be late for your surprise. We have to have breakfast and get ready and you need to be there early," He told me, leaning down and kissing me gently. If I wasn't so tired, I would have appreciated the kiss, but in the moment, I would have spat in his mouth. I'm such a nice wife.

I begrudgingly got up and went to the bathroom, doing my hair, plastering on some makeup before going to my suitcase and getting changed. Niall sat on the bed the whole time on his phone as he was already ready. Boys are so lucky. Literally, all he did was get changed and ruffle his hair into place. I don't think he even brushed it.

Niall then got room service for breakfast and it was a feast! I had cinnamon pancakes with (extra) icing, some bacon and some eggs. There was plenty more than that but had I eaten anymore, the skirt I was wearing wasn't going to come off.

Following breakfast, Niall had a car waiting for us outside the hotel which took us to our destination. It must have slipped Niall's mind to inform me that the destination was an hour and a half away. Yes, a full hour and a fucking half. I was ready to shoot someone, probably myself.

When we arrived, I frowned. There was a red carpet and barriers with crowds of people standing behind them. Flashings of camera's immediately happened as soon as the car came into view. They were all stood in front of a building. I had no fucking clue what this 'surprise' was.

"Come on," Niall smiled as a man opened the car door for us. I dubiously followed him and my eyes widened when I saw what we were met with. My eyes followed down the red carpet and were then met with a building, which had a red ribbon on the doors. Glancing up, I saw the sign. 'Jen Cosmetics'. I couldn't believe it, Niall had got a store for me in America!

I immediately jumped at him and luckily he caught me. Tears of happiness began to fill my eyes, threatening to fall down my cheeks. I didn't care though, this was the best surprise anyone had ever given me. "Niall! Thank you so much, how did you do this?!" I cried into his shoulder as all the fans screamed at our embrace, yelling Niall's name and the odd few yelling mine.

"We can talk later, come on, you have to come and open your first store," Niall said, setting me down on my feet and taking my hand. I squealed and nodded, following him quickly down the red carpet while everyone around us screaming, yelling how much they loved us and all the usual.

At the door, I was handed a pair of scissors and lined up next to the door was evidently my new staff. They were all wearing black leggings and a pink top, even the boys. Taking the scissors in a shaky hand, I gestured for Niall to help me. He smiled and placed his hand on the scissors and with his help, we cut the ribbon, everyone clapping once we did.

I pushed open the door and walked in, Niall following. My jaw almost dropped when I saw how amazing the shop was. Lined to one area were white makeup tables with vanity mirrors with lights. Under each was a white plush seat. To the other side of the store was where all the makeup was, aisles of makeup stalls. Then the middle were the tills.

"I designed this," Niall proudly said. "Here," He pointed to the vanity tables. "This is where people can get one-to-one lessons or just get their makeup done by the artists. Andrew said that would be a good thing to add and the other side is the actual store," he smiled, taking my hand. He led me to the back, showing me the staff rooms, storage and then back out.

"Niall, this is amazing, I honestly can't thank you enough!" I squealed and hugged him tightly. "You have probably saved my business," I whispered. He smiled in response, rocking both our bodies back and forth as we embraced.

"By the way, tomorrow, you're opening a store in Los Angelis, then one in Florida," he smiled into my hair which made me squeal.

"Niall, I can't believe you did this!" I felt tears running down my cheeks.

"Well, you were once meant to start selling in Sephora and it was my fault you didn't so the least I could have done was help to rectify the situation. What's better than selling in sephora? Owning your own stores," he grinned and so did I.

I couldn't believe he had gone to this effort for me, I didn't even want to ask how much this had cost him. I felt kind of bad because I hadn't gotten him a wedding gift. Was that bad? I hadn't much time to ponder on the thought as soon the shop was filling with people.

The staff soon came into their new work place and then the crowds from outside soon followed. Niall and I stayed for ages, taking photo's with people, signing things and I advised people on what to buy for their skin tone or type. Once the crowds began dying down, Niall and I left. In the car on the way back to the hotel, I felt my guilt rise in my stomach again.

"Niall, I didn't get you a wedding gift and I could never get you anything as good as you've got me," I told him, glancing up at him, biting my lip.

"Yes, you can," he responded with a smile.

"What could be better than this?" I asked. He didn't respond, he just pressed his hand to my stomach and I knew what he meant. He didn't have to say anything.

"This gift would be better than anything you could ever buy me," he smiled as my eyes filled with tears again. How did I ever end up with such an amazing man?
