Niall's POV

"Any day now, any day now." I smiled, resting my head on Jenny's shoulder and rubbing her belly. She is literally ready to pop at any time, the thought makes me anxious but also extremely excited at the same time.

"I know." She bit on her lip and giggled. "I'm nervous though, it's meant to hurt a lot." She pouted. I smiled sympathetically and kissed her pout.

"I'll be there holding your hand the whole time so you don't need to worry." I reassured me and kissed the back of her hand. "Okay, so I have to go to work tonight, I don't want to leave you alone though, just in case anything happens so do you think Joanna could come over and keep you company?" I asked, running a hand through her hair gently.

"Yeah, I'm sure she will." She smiled, taking her phone from her pocket and texting Joanna then. "Yep, she's coming just go pick her up please." She smiled sweetly at me. I chuckled and nodded, grabbing my car keys and kissing her forehead before going to Joanna's flat, yes she moved out from home- obviously, so she's nearer her college now, closer to Jenny and I as well which is nice for all of us.

When we got back to our house I went upstairs to take a shower while Jenny sat downstairs with Joanna. I spent an unnecessary amount of time standing in the shower massaging shampoo into my hair, I was just in such deep thought I didn't even realise I was taking such a long time until Jenny was knocking on the door, asking if I was okay.

I was just thinking about what life is going to be like raising a kid now, the thought honestly scares me. There's going to be this little kid, looking up to me and relying on me.

I don't even know how to look after a baby, honestly, according to twitter I don't even know how to support a damn baby head, so how am I meant to take care of one?

I pushed back my worries and rinsed out my hair before leaving the bathroom in a towel and placing my hand on my hip, raising my eyebrows at the two girls when I saw Jenny had Joanna attempting to pick the lock on the nursery.

I cleared my throat and Jenny screamed, jumping and turning around to face me while Joanna hid the bobby pin she had in her hand behind her back and smiled sweetly at me. "Stop it you two." I rolled my eyes and took the bobby pin from Joanna.

"Jenny, you will see in a few days, as soon as we take the little one home for the first time. You haven't got long to wait." I smiled softly and kissed her forehead. "Just be patient, please, for me." I took both her hands in mine. She sighed but nodded, leaning forward and kissing me gently.

"Okay, I'm gonna go get ready and if you pick that lock I swear to god, I'll disown ya." I poked Joanna in the chest which made her giggle and roll her eyes.

Jenny's POV

"Okay Jo, we only have a few more days to wait and then we can see the nursery. If we've waited this long we can wait." I smiled and she nodded before going downstairs while I went to our room to see Niall who was getting changed.

"You looks handsome in your suit." I smiled, coming over and wrapping my arms around his neck before starting to kiss him gently.

"Okay, I know you're hormonal and all and I know what you want." He smirked at me while I giggled and bit my lip. "But I need to go now or I'll be late." He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead which made me whine. "When I come home you'll have me all to yourself." He informed me as he walked to the door. I just huffed, knowing we would both be too exhausted later to actually do anything.

After he left I went down and perched myself next to Joanna who was watching telly, rubbing my belly subconsciously as I did. Is that just a thing all pregnant woman do?

"Are you excited?" She asked looking over at me as she ate some ice cream she must of gotten from the freezer. I smiled softly and shrugged.

"Well, I mean yeah.. I am but I'm also extremely anxious - obviously - like I don't know how to take care of a baby. I never did. I was basically a baby myself when you were a baby." I chuckled and she nodded.

"Yeah, but I think you will be a great mommy and I know Niall will be a great dad. Sure, he's great with kids, isn't he?" She questioned.

"Well, like he used to meet a lot of kids who were fans but he never had to take care of them. I don't know.. but I'm sure he will be great he used to be great with Theo when he was little." I smiled, reassuring myself more than Joanna.

"Have you guys chosen any names?" Joanna asked as she scoops a spoonful of cookie dough ice cream into her mouth.

"Niall likes Riley and I like Noah. We haven't made any decisions yet, I guess we will see when he's born." I told her.

"They're both nice names." She smiled as I got a slight pain in my stomach, rubbing it gently as I scrunched my face but then shrugging it off when it didn't last.

"Yeah, I like both as well." I nodded and then turned to watch the telly. During the episode we were watching I kept getting pains and they kept getting worse, it unnerved me a little but I attempted not to let it affect me.

"Joanna." I whined when they started getting a lot more excruciating. "Joanna, call Niall please." I looked over at her with big eyes and hers widened as well.

"Are you- are you-" She stuttered and I shrugged.

"I don't know, just call Niall." I exclaimed and she nodded and picked up her phone, hastily calling Niall's phone number and waiting for him to answer.

"Pick up, pick up." She mumbled under her breath, tapping her foot against the ground as she awaited him to pick up. "Oh for fucks sake." She muttered to herself when the phone rang out. I was about to scold her for cursing but I decided that was not our most prominent problem right about now.

"It's getting worse." I whined as she continued to phone him.

"Oh for fucks sake Niall pick up your damn phone. What's the point of having one if you don't answer it?" Joanna was obviously leaving Niall a voicemail. Being the lady she is.

A few minutes later her phone rang, Niall. "What?!" I could hear Niall's voice from where I was sitting.

"Niall, for gods sake please come home." Joanna said. "Look, I think Jenny might be going into labour and look for gods sake I can't handle this on my own."

"Phone your mom or something then." He said after a few minutes of silence.

"Niall! Come home please, Jenny needs you here. She's in pain." Joanna explained.

"Joanna, I can't come home I have the show to do, I can't cancel." I heard him say. "Has her water's broken yet?"

"No, not yet but she is definitely having contractions so can you please come home? It's not as though I can drive her to the hospital anyways and she certainly can't drive herself." Joanna sighed deeply.

"Joanna, her water's haven't even broken yet. She's grand right. The baby isn't coming yet so calm down. I'll be home after the show." Niall said before he just hung up on Joanna.

"Are you freaking serious?!" She exclaimed when he hung up on her. "He just hung up on me." She looked quite shocked.

"Jenny what the fuck am I meant to do now? I don't know how to birth a baby so keep those legs tight together because it's staying in there until Niall comes home." She folded her arms while I wiped my forehead where there was sweat accumulating.

"That's it." I say and my face goes pale. "Joanna, my water's broke." I say and point to my trousers which were growing increasingly darker in colour. "Joanna call Marcus. Call someone but this baby is coming." I was beginning to grow out of breath as my contractions came closer together.

She nodded and ran out of the room, coming back a few minutes later on the phone to Marcus. "Okay deep breaths." It was obvious Marcus was instructing her.

Ten minutes later Marcus came in and sat down next to me. "It's okay Jenny, just take deep breaths right? We're gonna get you to the hospital now." He said and I nodded as Joanna grabbed my shoes for me and handed me them. She helped me put them on before Marcus aided me to stand up, walking me to the car and helping me in.

Well, I guess this is it. Baby Horan is coming.
