Natalie followed Sam as she was leading the group. She was walking with Emily until Emily went to talk with Sam about what was going on and why they needed to find Mike.

Natalie sighed and stopped walking for a second so she could tread in the back with Chris. He looks down at her, "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.

"Tell you what?" Natalie questioned.

"About you- well liking girls." Chris replied, "Or particularly Emily."

Natalie sighed "You know I've been wanting to tell you but lost complete trust for you after the whole fiasco with Ashley last year." Natalie answered.

"Natalie." Chris started.

- flashback -

Natalie sat in her room, waiting for Chris to come in. She was gonna tell him what she had been keeping from him. That she was a lesbian. This was about a month before the disappearance of the twins.

Chris knocked on her door "Come in." She said.

"Hey." Chris said, "I'm going out with Ash tonight alright?" He said, fixing his tie in the mirror.

"What the hell Chris?" She exclaimed. "You promised me."

"I'm sorry alright?" Chris said, but not sincere about it. "You know how much I like Ash this is important to me."

"Christopher, I needed to talk to you! I'm your sister." She said, anger rising in her voice. "I needed to tell you something important!"

Chris rolled his eyes, turning to face his sister "Well sorry?" He questioned, "I'm going with Ashley, that's it."

"Your one ass of a brother, picking a girl over your own fucking sister!" She shouted, "Get out. Get out of my room."

Chris sighed "Gladly," he said, and left."

Natalie sighed and leaned into her headboard "Asshole." She whispered, checking her phone, answering a few texts before shutting her eyes.

- flashback over -

Chris frowned "I'm sorry about that Natalie, I was being a dick." He said, looking down.

"It's alright, not that big of a deal. I just assume you didn't want a part in my life anymore." She said.

Chris sighed "I was scared, you scared me tonight. I thought I lost you." He admitted.

"Well, you didn't." She said. "Reality sucks ass, deal with it."

Chris smiled softly "Yeah it really does suck." He agreed.

Natalie smiled "So you and Ashley finally... kissed." She cheered slightly.

Chris smiled, his cheeks turning red "Yeah I guess we did." He muttered.

Natalie elbowed him playfully "Finally got to second base I see?" She teased.

Chris rolled his eyes at his sisters' antics, but he was still smiling at the fact she cared. "Yeah yeah, whatever Natalie." He joked.

Natalie smiled up at her brother "What happened? I know Josh was the psycho but what really happened?" She asked.

"It was so fucked up Nat. He hit Ashley and tied us to chairs, under a saw blade. Said I had to either shoot myself or Ashley. I shot myself but the bullets were I don't remember what he called them!" He explained, "But uh Mike and Sam came in. Josh revealed himself and went on about this is how his sisters felt one year ago, except they didn't get to laugh it off. Mike knocked him unconscious because he thought he killed Jess."

Natalie shook her head "That's insane, you weren't even part of the prank. You got some of the worst tonight. Watching Josh 'die' and making all these fatal choices." She sighed.

"Well he's definitely off his meds that's for sure," Chris said. "It's whatever Nat." He said.

Chris suddenly came to a stop, wincing. "What's wrong?" Natalie asked. Everyone stopped to turn and look at Chris.

"My foot." He replied, "Guys I'm just slowing us down, leave me behind."

Ashley shook her head "No Chris no! We aren't leaving you behind, keep walking Mike will just have to wait!" Ashley insisted.

"Yeah, I agree with Ashley," Natalie said.

Sam groaned "Shit! Mike must have locked this door behind him." Sam shouted from down the tunnel. The rest of the group caught up to her. "Now what."

Ashley looked around "What about that?" She pointed at a manhole.

Sam nodded "Great! That'll work." Sam praised. Sam and Natalie pulled the top and slid it to the side.

Without hesitation Sam climbed down, then Emily, Natalie, Chris, finally Ashley. "Guys, do you think we should shut it?" Ashley asked.

"Sure whatever just catch up." Sam pressured, "We have to find Mike." The group left Ashley to shut the manhole, and continued walking with Sam. Natalie walked up the Emily grabbing her hand.

"I think it's a bad idea, leaving Ashley behind," Natalie told her.

Emily sighed "Maybe but she's a bitch so." Emily argued, referring to the huge incident earlier.

Natalie frowned "Em... we can't fight right now as a group, it'll just make everything worse." She said.

Emily looked at her "Yeah I know... I'll calm down." She agreed.

The group stopped at a dead-end "Shit!" Sam groaned. Ashley showed up behind them.

"Guys I think I heard Jessica..." she mumbled.

Emily turned around quickly "What?" She questioned. Ashley started walking to show Emily.

"Wait wait, guys!" Natalie shouted, "Ashley weren't you talking about how the Wendigos could copy people's voices?"

Ashley and Emily both stopped in their tracks "Yeah..." Ashley answered.

Emily sighed "But what if it is Jess?" She asked.

"Mike did say Jess was dead. I don't think it's worth the risk." Natalie said, looking down.

Sam turned to them "Guys you should go back, I'm gonna find Mike." She told them, "By myself."

Chris sighed and nodded "Alright." Chris said. The group excluding Sam turned around and made their way back the same way they had come.

"This is actually crazy," Natalie said to them all.

You could hear murmurs of agreement from the group.

After about 10-20 minutes they made it back to the basement, Chris sat down and propped his leg up. Natalie walked over to him. "Hey, Nat." He said.

"Hey." She said softly, "Rest your leg until dawn or whenever we need to boot our way out of here? It's not worth straining it in case of an emergency." She explained. Chris nodded in a way of agreeing. Once Natalie walked away from her brother to Emily, Ashley went over to Chris, it looked as if she was comforting him.

Natalie sighed in relief as she approached Emily "I hope we're safe down here." She said.

But they weren't, they just didn't know.
