Smackdown was over as everyone was leaving the arena and heading to the hotel to rest up. Liv was walking around backstage as she was moving her bags while fixing her hair and glasses.

Liv continued walking until she noticed Alex sitting on a crate as he was listening to some music on his headset.

Liv was staring at him as she decided to talk to him. Ever since Alex was drafted to the main roster, She noticed he hasn't spoken to anyone and is always alone.

She walked towards him as Alex noticed her and continued listening to music until Liv spoke to him.

Liv: Hey there!

Alex: [Removes Headset]. . . Hey.

Liv: How are you?

Alex: I'm good. What about you?

Liv: I'm doing good too. What are you listening too?

Alex: Songs that were written and sung by my sister.

Liv: Oh that's awesome. Can I listen?

Liv smiled at him as she put on the headset as Alex played a song that her sister used to sing to him many years ago. Some time later and the song was over as Liv smiled at him and spoke to him.

Gionna was gonna take her bags until Alex carried her bags along with his bags as Liv was gonna say something to him but Alex told her that it was alright and continued walking as Liv was following him.

Alex opened the car trunk and placed all the bags there as he closed the trunk and opened the passenger door for Liv as she smiled at him and got inside the car. Alex closed the door as he opened the door and sat in the driver seat as he closed the door and started the car.

Alex began driving as they were making their way to the hotel. Gionna was on her phone as she put her phone down and spoke to him.

Liv: So Alex, Do you have any friends?

Alex: I don't have any friends.

Gionna felt bad for him and looked at him as he continued driving until they made it to the hotel. Alex got out of the car as he opened the trunk and carried the bags as he closed the trunk and followed Gionna.

Eventually they made it to Gionna's room as he put the bags down as she said something to him.

Liv: Thanks Alex.

Alex: No problem.

Liv: Well I'm gonna head to sleep now. Goodnight!

Alex: Goodnight and good luck on your ladder match.

Liv: [Smiles] You too pumpkin.

Alex was staring at her as she smiled at him until he left the room as he was making his way back to his room. He made it to his room as he laid down on his bed and after a few minutes, He fell asleep.

July 1 2022

It was the final smackdown before money in the bank. The crowd was already excited and can't wait for the pay per view to happen. The men's and women's ladder match participants were also confirmed.

Alex Ambrose, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, Cash Wheeler, Sheamus and Pete Dunne were the confirmed participants for the men's money in the bank ladder match.

Liv Morgan, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Bayley, Anna Jay and Io Shirai were the confirmed participants for the women's money in the bank ladder match.

The crowd were looking at the confirmed matches for money in the bank as they loved it until Alex's theme played.

The crowd began cheering as Alex made his entrance as he was walking down the ramp and the crowd began chanting his name. The Doom Slayer grabbed a microphone and got inside the ring as his music stopped playing.

Alex: Tomorrow is money in the bank and i know everyone is hyped up but I have something to say to Roman Reigns.

The crowd was interested to what Alex wanted to say as they were listening to him.

Alex: Roman, You kept that belt hostage for two years and now it's my turn to take your precious championship and when I become your new WWE world heavyweight champion. Roman Reigns, I want you to. . . . Acknowledge me.

The crowd began cheering for Alex as he had a smirk on his face as Ambrose was gonna say something until he was interrupted.

The crowd began booing Corbin as Baron made his entrance and his music stopped playing as he said something to the psychotic anarchist.

Baron: Alex. Alex. Alex. Your just a rookie and I won't let you win that ladder match because I'm gonna throw you off that ladder, grab that briefcase and cash in on Roman Reigns to become your new WWE world heavyweight champion and I want all of you to acknowledge your new king of smackdown.

Alex: Just make sure you don't fail like last time.

The crowd began laughing at Corbin as Baron was annoyed and told Alex that he heard enough and challenged Alex as Ambrose accepted the match.

Fifteen minutes later

Corbin was gonna hit a back suplex on Ambrose but he jumped over him as he grabbed Baron and hit a german suplex on him as he was down.

Alex was on the top rope as he was waiting for Corbin to get up but Baron rolled out of the ring as the crowd booed him. Baron managed to get up as he was holding his leg until Alex hit a top rope elbow drop on him as both men were down.

Alex managed to get up and threw Corbin back in the ring. Ambrose also got in the ring until Corbin surprised Alex by hitting a deep six on him as he pinned him but the anarchist kicked out.

Baron was angry as he got Alex up and was gonna hit a end of days on him but Ambrose countered the attack and hit a rainstorm on him.

Alex pinned him and got the three count as the crowd began cheering for the psychotic anarchist as he had a huge smile on his face. Alex got up and looked at the crowd as he said something.

Alex: Tomorrow your looking at the new WWE world heavyweight champion. Believe that.

Ambrose rolled out of the ring as he made it to backstage. Sometime has passed and the next match was happening as Liv Morgan was facing Carmella.

Liv made her entrance as the crowd was cheering for her and even chanted her name as she had a huge smile on her and continued walking as she made it to the ring.

Liv's music stopped playing as she was looking at the entrance ramp until Carmella's theme played.

Carmella made her entrance as she smiled at Liv and got inside the ring as Gionna was looking at her. Carmella's music stopped playing as both women were looking at each other until the bell rang and the fight begins.

Fifteen minutes later

Carmella was gonna hit a super kick on Liv but Morgan hit a discus forearm on her before she followed it up with a step up enziguri.

Carmella was stunned until Liv hit a double knee facebreaker on her. Carmella moved back to the ropes before Liv hit her with a oblivion.

Liv pinned Mella and got the three count as the crowd began cheering for her as Gionna got up and had a huge smile on her face as she rolled out of the ring and grabbed a microphone as she said something to the crowd.

Liv: Charlotte. . I'm gonna take that championship away from you and prove that I'm the best. No obstacle is gonna stop me from becoming champion.

Liv dropped the microphone as she had a huge smile on face as the crowd continued cheering for Liv and even chanted her name. Liv smiled at the crowd as she began walking to the ramp and went backstage as the rest of the show went on.
