Yang's POV
It had started out like any normal day. The team got ready and we were walking away from the arena, going to grab lunch. Uncle Qrow had gone off somewhere. "But Yang you got to play last time." Ruby commented. Our new fight was over who was going to play the videogame this afternoon. Though it probably wasn't as important as what would happen.

Raven's POV (PLOT TWIST)
I was on my knees. A woman with a crimson dress and amber eyes was in front of me. "Do it. It's either this or I kill your daughter and your brother." The woman threatened. I did not know this woman, but she'd caught me off guard while I made my monthly visit to Yang. Though Yang didn't know about these visits. It was always better to stay hidden, safer for everyone. But I can't let my daughter and twin get hurt. "And if I do open this portal you'll toss them into oblivion. Not much of a better fate." She smirked. She'd lost most of her wittiness back when she went to Beacon, but every now and then it does rise up.

"Fine. Do whatever you want to," the woman said coolly, "I've got spies out there. Two have even befriended your daughter and her team. All I have to do is give the order." The woman pulled out a walkie talkie and spoke into it, "Mercury-"

"Wait!" I said. This could be better. If I really focused I may be able to send them to safety. I don't know where but I could do it. For Summer. For her daughter, Ruby. It's strange. Being a team I never thought I'd fall in love with Tai but, it happened. But when it did happen I never imagined leaving my daughter. Never in my life could I see Summer picking up where I'd left off. Her daughter looked so much like her. But I couldn't face them when I left, how could I face them now? "I'll open it." I agreed. The woman looked pleased and called off whatever force she had.

I closed my eyes and focused deeply. I saw a portal open up near team rwby and I saw my daughter and her team sucked in. Hopefully it'll work. "Now open up one in the office." The woman said. "It's too far. I couldn't possibly get it there." I stated.

"Then simply make a portal to get us there and then make another to suck in your brother, Ozpin, and Glynda." The woman said. I didn't want to do this. They had all been good friends of mine when I attended Beacon, especially Qrow, he was my support beam. Whenever things went wrong I could lean on him. And I was there for Glynda when her sister died, her twin, they were fraternal twins but twins indeed, even if I'd never really met her. However, I felt myself open up a portal and I was dragged through by this woman.

I exited the portal without my mask and with the woman(I know it's getting tiring but Raven isn't supposed to know Cinder) behind me. I saw Qrow, Ozpin, and Glynda gathered around Oz's desk. They heard me enter and Qrow looked up at me along with Glynda and Oz. Oz seemed surprised, Glynda was simply speechless, but seemed to be focused on the woman behind me, but Qrow's face was the worst. I'll never be able to wipe the look on his face from my mind.

"Raven?" He asked.

"I'm so sorry." I said.

"For what?" He asked. He smelled of alcohol, I dreaded alcohol. In response I simply opened up a portal behind the three, thinking and hoping it'd go where I wanted it to go, back to a time when I was happy. I saw them get sucked in. "There I've done what you want." I said, tears not daring to drop.

"Good. Thank you. For taking out your family. Adam will be pleased. And by the way, I'm Cinder." Cinder said and had a wicked smile. I stood as she vanished and went on my way. I will find my family. I just need some help first.

Ruby's POV
I don't understand. Everything was fine. And then this red, black, swirly, portal thingy sucked us in. I can't see my team anymore and it feels as if I'm falling into oblivion. But then I hit something hard.

Alright my first RWBY fanfiction. Is it any good? Should I continue? I'll probably continue anyways but eh.
