Rand gulped as the two males neared the large fortress. Rednal flew upon a Charizard while Rand's Pidgeot combed the air just behind it. He finally spoke.

"So... how do you know your brother didn't send us to die?" Rednal gulped.

"I don't. I haven't talked to Midnight until after the rain released the sector." Rand paused.

"Rain? Isn't rain good here-" Rednal cut him off with just shaking his head.

"Rain of Obedience. The past minister loved using that, controlling the sector... such a lazy man." Rednal shuddered. "Midnight told me that he wasn't almost directly hit... I'm glad Lisalia saved him..." Rand paused.

"Wait... Midnight seemed to notice something in Oblivia Ruins-" Rednal paused. "He got really nervous and alerted us to be careful." Rednal took a moment before he hissed.

"Midnight better not be checking on that... because the old minister has a stupid ability to get another chance. I don't remember what it was exactly." Rand hummed as they neared the fortress.

"Here we go-"

Midnight gulped as he and Malov went into the Oblivia Ruins. The aura pulsed as he gulped.

"Ok... here we go..." She placed a hand on his shoulder.

"When... are you going to talk to us?" He turned and gave a tired smile.

"When I know Oblivia is truly safe. When that happens, then I'll be safe to talk. Now, c'mon."

Parchment frowned. She obviously got the hardest part. She had to track down three different things. And all she had was herself and the base. Lovely.

"Ok... time to die-"

Rand and Rednal hit a wall. Literally. The group put up a barrier and were forced to land.

Parchment was able to find two of three, the last slapping her in the face.

Malov and Midnight slammed into the old minister. Of course, Midnight's scars were revealed and the source was quick to show as the former minister nearly tore him apart. Midnight let a scream loose before Malov hissed.

"GET OFF MY BROTHER!"

Midnight collapsed as an aura pulsed darkly. He couldn't move until he felt something purr against him. He looked up as Malov gently buried into his side. He was rather comfy in her gentle grip. But there was work to do. He curled up in her grip before whispering.

"Sis... sis... home... home..." She got the message and helped him out. He glanced back to see that nothing was left. He smiled before burying into her arms, letting himself relax.

He was actually surprised Rednal didn't hurt him.

Rednal first freaked out before Malov exposed what happened. In that time, Midnight was getting treated by Pichu. He was still crying as the pain was resurfacing. But he had to save Oblivia first. He could wait. He finally smiled at his partner.

"That'll do for now... have the kit ready in case more happens." Pichu nodded as it finished what it was doing before moving to prepare for the final attack. Midnight slowly went over before Rednal paused.

"Midnight-" He looked away, not in the mood to deal with this. He went over to Parchment, who was muttering something under her breath.

"Well?"

"Missing one thing..." She showed him what she was looking at. "This is past some trials. Booker knows a lot about that. Then there's this, which follows after you put these two pieces together. But I can't find this piece." He hummed before he turned to the two boys that were supposed to be in the air.

"How was the assault?"

"Barrier." They said in almost complete sync. He gulped before he rubbed his eyes. He then spoke.

"Ok..." Pichu made a noise, cutting him off.

"Pi!" It went over to Parchment and a low conversation emerged. Midnight, his mind being nearly destroyed, went and laid his head down. Parchment gave a cheer.

"There!" Midnight raised his head as she showed a map. "Everything's right here!" He smiled as he stood up and gently took the papers.

"Thanks..." Rednal frowned.

"You're not going to take them on by yourself, are you?"

"Not yet... We first need to get in there. Right now, let's achieve that. What I want everyone to do... Pichu-" It gave a complaint, knowing where he was going with his plan. "You get them ready. I'll meet you guys at Tilt Village."
