READER'S POV

Later on that day, Mammon and I were heading to Levi's room. On the way there Mammon kept shouting at me to stop pulling at him since I was determined to get the soundtrack from Levi and I couldn't stop laughing at him.

"D'AAH! Quit pulling on me! Gr...dammit, lemme go! let...me...go...this...instaAAAH...!"

"Okay," I told him before I released him.

"D'ah..!" Mammon shouted after he landed onto the ground. He got up and glared at me.

"...Ow...! Hey, what the hell?! ya coulda at least given me a little warning before lettin' go! I hit my head just now, ya know?!"

"Oh stop whining, you idiot. First you complain about wanting me to let you go and then you shouted at me after I finally released you, make up your mind."

"Whatever, anyway, I can't believe that you decided to go straight to Levi and ask him for the soundtrack... you really don't have any patience, do ya?!"

"What can I say? I'm not very patient all the time. Besides, what's the problem about asking levi to lend me his soundtrack?" I asked him with my arms folded.

"First of all, there's no way Levi's just gonna agree to lend you his Tale of whatever-it-was vinyl soundtrack. Actually, he ain't even gonna let you inside his room. I'm sure of it!"

"We'll see about that, shall we?" I told him before I approached his door.

Mammon stopped me and he said to me.

"Don't go thinkin that everything's gonna go your way cause ya want it to! You know what your problem is?"

"No, but why don't you go ahead and tell me?" I asked with a frown.

"I'll tell you-"

"Mammon, you jackass," a familiar voice spoke up.

"What...?! who said that?! I'm not a jackass, or an idiot or a scumbag or a money-obsessed moron! ...which you didn't actually call me, but still! ...Hold on, I recognise that voice. So, where ARE you, anyway?"

I turned to Levi's door and I knew immediately that his voice was coming from in there.

"You're making way too much noise, Mammon. Would you do me a favour and NOT stand outside my door being loud? I'm in the middle of watching the best scene of The Magical Ruri Hana: Demon Girl."

Mammon frowned and shouted.

"Levi, we need to talk to you. Get off your ass and come to the door!"

"No."

Mammon turned to me and he pointed at the door.

"See? see? What'd I tell ya? He won't even open the damn door for us."

"Just keep trying until he opens the door."

"Well, don't just stand there, (Y/n). Try sayin' something to him."

"Okay..."

I knocked on his door and I said to him.

"Levi, I need to borrow our TSL soundtrack."

"No," He told me.

"Ugh, com on...that was awful. You're not supposed to tell hi why we're here. He's not the kind of guy who does favours if you ask him."

"Well, if you have any bright ideas, I can't wait to hear them," I spoke with a frown with my hands on my hips.

"Hey, I was wondering who that was out here in the hall. So, it's the pair everyone is talking about..."

We turned to look who came into the house and it was Solomon.

"...Wha? Oh. Solomon, it's you. What do ya mean by that?" Mammon asked him.

"I'm referring to the rumour regarding a certain human by the name of (Y/n). A human who looks very ordinary at first glance, but has already managed to make a pack with a demon, despite having only just gotten here. Apparently this demon must be a real idiot, because he let a human discover and exploit his greatest weakness, and was then tricked into forging a pack."

"AHAHA! What demon is that? he must be a total numbskull! Ha, what an idiot!"

"Uh Mammon," I called out to him before he turned to look at me. "You're the total numbskull. The rumour is about us."

"What?!!"

I burst out into laughter when I saw his reaction.

"Man you really are an idiot! Hahahaha!!"

"It's not funny! anyway, what're you even doin' here, Solomon?"

"I'm here because Levi invited me."

Mammon and I looked at him with a surprised looks on our faces before he said to him.

"Wha? Levi invited YOU? To his room? no way, I don't buy it."

"I'm afraid it's the truth."

Solomon told us before he knocked on Levi's door.

"Levi? it's me."

"What's the secret phrase?" Levi asked him.

"The second Lord..."

"...attempted to steal the Lord of Corruption's platypus, which could lay golden eggs..."

"...having incurred the wrath of the LOrd of Corruption for this misdead..."

"...it was ordered that the second lord would be forever dubbed The Lord of Fools.' You may enter."

Solomon smiled before he opened the door.

"Well, guess I'll see you two later. bye."

Solomon closed the door behind him while Mammon and I looked at each other and back at the door.

"What were they even talking about just now...?"

"I have no idea..." I told him before Mammon realised something.

"Wait a minute...That was the secret phrase! They gave it away, didn't they?!"

I nodded my head in agreement before Mammon said to me.

"Excellent. All right, try saying what Solomon did."

"Okay."

I knocked on Levi's door before he asked me.

"What's the secret phrase?"

"The second Lord..."

"*buzz*! Secret phrase authentication failure. Access denied."

"What?!" I shouted angrily.

"Wait, that was totally right! It's exactly what Solomon said!" Mammon shouted at him.

"The secret phrase is periodically reset," Levi told us.

"You're saying it's a one-time password? Seriously?!" Mammon frowned angrily.

"Maybe you should come back after you've at least watched TSL on DVD," Levi spoke in annoyed tone.

"Ugh, come on! What the hell, Levi?!" Mammon shouted in a frustrated tone.

"Forget Mammon, come on, let's leave him to it."

I told him as we walked away from the door.

"...I don't understand exactly what's goin' on here, but from what I can gather...basically, Solomon just proved to Levi that he's a total TSL nerd too, so now they're buddies. Which means that if you wanna borrow that soundtrack from Levi...then you're gonna have to do what Solomon did, and become TSL nerd yourself. It's that or nothing!"

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Sounds like it's a movie matathon tonight, see you there."

"What?" Mammon looked at me confused before I left him to get the DVD series.

TIME SKIP...

I was in my room setting everything up while Mammon and Beelzebud were waiting for me.

"So, explain somethin' to me. Why do I gotta join you for this TSL Full Series DVD Marathon Night you're doin'?!" Mammon asked me in an annoyed tone.

"Because it's 12 hours long and I could use the company it's for fun that way."

'Plus, this is the first time I had a movie night with some friends. It makes a nice change.'

I thought to myself as I remembered those movie nights that i never got to join. The other kids used to chase me out of their rooms or they take up all the spots in the living room to make sure that I didn't sit next to any of them. Even if i did join in their group, they would find ways to insult me and bully me so by the time I got older, it was just Jamie and me having our own movie night in my room.

"12 hours long?! what's up with that? We'll be up all damn night!"

"Yeah, and it's almost midterms. You must have a lot of free time, Mammon," Beelzebud told him.

"No, I DON'T! ...Anyway, you're one to talk! What about you, Beel?! You're here too!"

"A movie marathon means there's going to be popcorn."

"And some other snacks as well. I always come prepared for these things," I told Beel with a smirk before handing him a bag of crisps and he happily took them from me.

"You're telling me you're just here for the food, beggin' the human for treats like some kind of dog?!" Mammon asked him.

"All I know is that once we start watching, I get to start eating. So, hurry it up!" Beel spoke in impatient tone.

"Ugh, this is so stupid that it's...it's unreal. Why am I watching this too...?" Mammon asked as we got into a comfortable spot to watch the movies.

The Tale of the Seven Lords...DVD volume 2

Though they represent two different species, the protagonist Henry and the Lord of Shadow bridge such differences to form a pact. Working together, they set a trap for the Lord of Fools, who falls victim to it. The Lord of Fools is then driven off, chased up into the snowy northern country. It's there in the cold, barren wastes that he discovers the frozen body of his former sweetheart, Gledie. He once loved her, before they parted...

"Wh...seriously?! He's finally reunited with her, only to find out that she's dead?! No...that can't be! Can't he, like, use some magic or somethin' to bring her back to life...?!" Mammon shouted with tears in the corner of his eyes.

"Don't you dare die, Geldie! It can't end like this, it just can't...! He's gonna find a way to save Geldie, right?! What do you think? Please...please say he saves her...!"

"Shh!! be quiet Mammon!" I hushed him while eating some popcorn with Beel.

"If you want to know what happens, you'll have to keep watching."

Beel told him as we continued to watch the rest of the movie.

DVD Volume 5

The Lord of Flies faces a crisis after his country is invaded by hostile forces from another land. The opposing army isolates them, cutting off supply lines so they will starve. Hoping to aid his brother, the Lord of Fools arranges for food supplies to be smuggled in. However, a logn spell of wet rainy weather causes all of the food he has sent to spoil. As a result, the Lord of Flies' land is beset by an outbreak of disease, on top the famine they already face...

"*sob*...*sniffle* *sob*...Don't blame the Lord of Fools...! He was worried about the Lord of Flies and wanted to help...That's all! I can't believe the food ended up spoiling... it's not fair. he was bein' so helpful, and he meant well... So, why...WHY...? *sob* sniffle*"

"Mammon, stop crying. Your nose is running, you know."

"Come on, how can I NOT cry watchin' this, huh?! *sob*...*sniffle*... It's all so saaaaaaad...! *sob*"

I gave Mammon a tissue and then he blew his nose after thanking me. I shook my head at him before we turned our attention back to the movie.

DVD volume 7

In year 825 of the ancient era, the Lord of Emptiness leads a sudden rebellion against his eldest brother, the Lord of Corruption. Unwilling to forgive his betrayal, the Lord of Corruption imprisons him within the Tower of Shadow in the farthest corner of the world. The other lords lament the fate that has befallen their youngest brother, but there is nothing they can do. For they fear incurring the wrath of the Lord of Corruption above all else...

"Seriously, what's wrong with them? They're brothers, aren't they? Couldn't one of them have done something to stop it from coming to this? I mean, sure maybe the Lord of Emptiness himself deserves some of the blame, too. But even so, I can't believe they'd abandon their brother like that..."

"..."

Beel and I were silent as we watched the rest of the movie. I glanced at Mammon and Beel before I remembered those days when I was left out from the fun activities at the orphanage.

Flashback...

I watched the other kids watch Tv because tonight was movie night. I wanted to join in but, the last time I tried they kicked me out of their room. I sighed a little before Susie came over to me and crouches down to my height.

"What's wrong, (Y/n)? don't you want to join in?"

I glanced at the other kids and some of them were giving me dirty looks. I shook my head for a no and I told her.

"No thanks, maybe some other time."

I told her as I left the living room and then I heard the other kids whispering about me.

"Man what a freak."

"Claiming to see demons, she's lost it."

"No wonder her parents dumped her here."

"What a loser."

I felt tears in the corner of my eyes before I ran back to my room. I closed the door and I sat down on the floor with my back against the door. I cried my eyes out while some of the small cat demons floated into my room and they snuggled against me to comfort me. 

"Don't cry (Y/n)-chan."

"We're here for you."

"Don't listen to what those brats are saying about you."

I sniffled a little and I smiled at the cat demons before I petted one of them on their heads.

"Thanks guys..."

Flashback ends...

'Compared to being at the orphanage this is way better. Sure I have my ups and downs with the brothers but, I don't let it bother me as much. I hope I can become friends with them before this one year ends.' 

I thought to myself as I smiled a little before watching the rest of the movie.
