~A few hours later~

There was a rumour going around for a very long time. A prince of the neighbouring kingdom is suppose to have anger issues and so cruel. He hates everyone and everything. Everyone is scared of him and no one wants to be around him at all. However, he was invited to the ball and was being made to go to meet Princess Astria.

Astria didn't mind him being there because she doesn't believe in the rumours until she meets him herself. However, the king not liking the fact that this certain prince is going to be attending the ball.

Even though Satan is suppose to be a cruel man he is known for being handsome as well. This is the part where the Queen didn't like. She wanted to stay in power and if Astria where to marry someone she could become queen which her step mother did not want to happen.

So there was three things that the queen was thinking that she needs to do at the ball to make sure she doesn't lose her position as queen.
1. She needed to make sure Astria was kept away from the males in the ball so the men wouldn't fall in love and what to be with her.
2. The queen needs to look more beautiful than what Astria would ever look so the queen could keep the attention on her and Astria would not get any.
3. If everything else fails she needs to make sure she can get Satan's attention soly on her or at least male him angry at Astria so she would either be hurt badly or to scared to show her face ever again.

While she was reminding herself of this the queen telling the servants about where to put things or what to do with the decorations. "Mother. . ." When she the queen heard someone say that she knew who it was so she didn't bother turning to look at Astria. She kept her focus on the tasks and the servants that was before her.

"What is it Astria? I am busy with the preparation. Ain't you suppose to be having a bath?" She asked her.

Astria sighed as she heard her step mother say that. Instead of speaking once more and started to walk away and went to the bathroom to have a bath. The maids helping her as she was sat in bath looking down at the water as she did. "Princess? You okay?" The maid asked her.

Astria sighed and looked at the water still. "I guess. . . But I don't understand why mother said I need a bath after helping that child. This ball is suppose to be for everyone to know I'm coming of age. . and father said there was one guest that's coming and he ain't good news." She spoke up.

The maid nodded her head at Astria's words to her. "Ah yes. The prince from the Neighbouring kingdom. Satan. It's true he has anger issues and he beats anyone that doesn't do anything he wants." The maid replied to Astria.

Astria glanced at the maid and then looked at the water once again. "No I don't believe rumors. I have to see him like that myself before I think that way of him. After all everyone believes the rumors that I am a weak and fragile person who can't go outside right? That's not the case my father just didn't want me to be in the publics eye just incase something happened to me. . . He keeps saying he lost my actual mother he won't lose me too." Astria spoke up

The maid looked at the princess as she heard her say those words to her. And nodded her head with a smile on her face. "I agree, your highness. Rumours are mainly false and that's what people don't understand. They believe anything that is said about someone without asking or seeing it happen themselves. You have such a pure and kind heart your highness. That's what all of us love about you." The maid said to Astria while getting a towel and drying off Astria when she got out.

When she was dry the maids started to get Astria ready for the ball that will be taking place. Astria was sat down on the chair as he hair was being done she was smiling as the words the maid said to her was going around in her head. "You know what I think I'll do as I please when the ball is happening. Afterall what's the point if I'm not having fun too?" Astria spoke up and looked into the mirror that was in front of her.

The maid gave a huge smile and nodded her head at Astria's words. "I agree your highness!"

Chapter 2 of this book done! If this was part of one story. I will try and update these stories as much as I can. But I am working on these stories and so many others behind the scenes as well.
