tw: brief mentions of assault

Hello fellow readers and general supporters of my work, I am very grateful for you all and I appreciate you very deeply. Many of you supported me when I was uncertain about making this story, and still do even when I have my doubts. You all are amazing. However, as this story progresses, I would like to lay out some ground rules specifically regarding how to act when in regard to the events in the show and book, separately and together. The world of asoiaf has a massive fan base, and while that can be a great thing it also has its downsides. A key example is some in the HOTD fandom.

With some of these instances can come very clear-cut examples of misogyny. I want to make it clear right now, whatever team you are on (team black, team green, or the oc team) if you can't defend your side without being misogynistic, simply refrain from commenting on this story. I have seen a lot of disturbing and disgusting comments in regards to Alicent, largely, but a few other female characters in HOTD like Rhaenyra, who are subjected to jokes that laugh at their assault and refer to them in degrading manners that I will not mention in detail here if you know you know. That will not be allowed in this book. You can like and dislike, agree or disagree with whatever characters or team that you choose, but if you can't reasonably conduct yourself I will delete your comments if it progresses any further.

The reason behind this is 1.) because these are my rules and my book, 2.) it not only is for my state of mind but that of others. It is very triggering to see people making jokes about aspects of assault just for laughs and acting as if that makes their point anymore sound. I see enough of that on Twitter and it is tiring, so it will not be allowed here (I have seen some instances on this app, albeit more toned down). If you can't accept these rules, then don't comment here.
