Chapter 7
At some point Nick and mum come back into the room, and mum looks at Me.
"Sarah. Do you really want to go with these boys?"
"Yes mum!" I say back.
She stares at me for a second.
"You can go." She says.
"O-Oh my god!!! Thank you mum!"
I ran and hugged her, and then I ran to Nick, hugging him.
After, I ran over to Alex, and threw my arms around his neck as I hugged him.
He hugged back immediately, wrapping his arms around my waist. I could hear his deep chuckle as he was laughing.
When we parted he wore a smile, as did mum and Nick.
"When do we leave?" I ask.
"In about 3 weeks." Nick answers.
"How long will the tour be?"
"Eh, about two or three months." Alex says.
"Yay!!!" I jump in excitement.
"Oh god I'm so excited!" I smile.
I look over to Alex, and he gives me the cutest smile ever, as his brown eyes gaze into mine.
"We've got band practice today, so Sarah, if you're done eating. We can go." Nick says.
"Yeah, yeah! Of course!" I smile, and throw on my shoes.
"Bye mum!" I kissed her cheek, and went out the door with Alex and Nick.
"I'm really glad you guys want me with you." I say as we walk.
"Yeah, no problem. No one knows us better than you." Alex looks back and smiles.
I stare into his eyes and smile. He stares back into mine, and a genuine grin spreads across his face.
Suddenly, he trips, and falls over, taking me with him, me landing on top of him with an 'uff.' Escaping both our mouths.
We both laugh, and Nick stares at us in confusion.
"You two are absolutely mad. I swear..." He mumbles as he walks away.
Alex smiles at me one more time before we get up and run after Nick.

Upon arriving at Alex's flat, he opened the garage door, revealing the couches and instruments all set up where they should be.
Out of all this time, I had never once questioned as to why practice as at the singers house and not the drummers.
"Why do we practice at Alex's flat and not Matt's?" I ask.
Alex turns around and Nick looks at me but before either of them can answer my question, a springy voice rings from behind me.
"Because I don't think anyone would fancy bein' stuck up in my tiny room!" Matt entered the garage.
I spun around and laughed at his response, looking at the warm smile on his face.
" 'Spose you're right." I responded.
"I sure as 'ell wouldn't fancy that." Nick commented.
Matt walked over to the couch and plopped down next to Nick, throwing an arm around the back of the couch.
Alex was walking around, setting up the plug ins for his microphone, and I watched as he did such.
"Where's Jamie?" Nick asked, glancing between the boys.
" Dunno'." Matt responded.
I walked around the space, and then I stepped outside.
I walked down the drive way and sat down at the curb.
I turned my head to the side, trying my best to gaze back into the garage.
I couldn't quite see.
I looked down the street, and saw a familiar figure walking.
A guitar case was in his hands and the scarf around his face looked warm and big.
As he approached a little more I noticed the longish hair, and piercing blue eyes that belonged to Jamie Cook.
He was quite a ways down the street.
"Al! Nick! Matt! Jamie is up the road!" I shouted back.
Alex slowly emerged from the garage, and came to stand next to me, his frame towering over mine.
I looked up at him and smiled and he smiled down at me, flicking my nose gently before he looked back up at the approaching guitarist.
I watched as the smile disappeared off of Alex's face and I felt confused.
I looked over at Jamie and noticed how upset he looked.
Alex walked away from me, suddenly set on his friends attitude.
"Are you alright, man?" he asked.
"Eh," Jamie sniffed.
"I think me girl wants to break up, like." he said.
"Tha' knows?" Alex asked.
Jamie nodded.
"She's unsure about me bein' a musician, and I didn't know what to say back, and she said that she was rethinkin' stuff." he explained.
"I think you'll be fine." I commented absentmindedly.
Both the boys looked to me, a tad look of surprise in their eyes.
I stood up and brushed myself off.
I turned around and walked up to them both.
"You love her, yeah?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"And she loves you, yeah?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"And you've been together for years, yeah?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"Then you'll be fine, yeah?" I say.
"Yeah..." he says, a little more life returning to his eyes.
"Thanks, Sarah." Jamie smiled a little, before ruffling my hair and walking up to the garage, greeting the other lads.
I smiled and watched, then I turned my head to Alex, who was still standing next to me, his hands on his hips.
"What?" I asked.
"You really are somethin' else." he said.
" Tha' knows " I said, mimicking his voice.
I then began to walk back up to the garage and he followed closely behind.
