But he had never thought an angel would fall burning down from the sky.

There, halfway through his dessert, he nearly dropped his spoon, startled from the sudden amount of heat increasing through the entire room. Something had smashed through one of the windows at the very top of the stone wall, leaving the shattered pieces of glass to clatter down against the floor. Wooyoung squinted his eyes at the shadows of dark figures colliding against something invisible instead of following in like the creature flying around their heads had. He heard them scream, a sound alarmingly much like a threat - and if he wasn't wrong, was it something close to the same meaning as 'I will end you'.

Despite not accepting the defeat fully, the shadows disappeared from the window, but probably not further away, that they still were able to keep an eye on the castle.

Wooyoung turned in his seat, eyeing how the phoenix spread its wings with long, smooth movements. The bird was on fire, every golden-red feather crackled with sparks of heat, and Wooyoung's being soared the sensation on his skin. For every beat it took with its proud wingspan, hot wind whirled around, and that made him barely notice the phoenix was circling a landing spot.

The dragon tried to hold onto his gasp when the bird stretched its claws toward the ground and flailed with its wings in order to slow down, literally burning up in licking flames.

Wooyoung was astonished by the sight when the fire faded into the frame of a person, making out a young man whose feathers were nowhere to be seen anymore. He was glowing like he were a fluttering flame himself - his head held high and eyes straightened to the table where the rest sat. On top of his long, grey locks of uncurving hair, a simple designed golden crown sat, matching the golden specks and patterns embroidered into his grey linen suit and vest. A long earring swayed from his one ear, which foolish humans solely believed was a symbol for being either homosexual or unfortunate or them both.

The man dusted himself off, stains of fine particles coming off his shoulders.

"My apologies, them gentlemen, I encountered some.. trouble ... on my way to here."

His voice was soft, with a tint of sweetness hiding in between the smooth, velvet sensation and the dragon felt his heart melt as if warmth was spreading inside his body from the timbre only. The sight was a total blessing; especially when the phoenix's round, loving eyes with a twist of awareness threaded with his own - his high cheekbones, sharp jawline, long slender nose, thick beautifully shaped lips

meant to be kis-

Wooyoung couldn't stop himself from internally drooling at this man's looks, and a drop of his mouth-water might as well have left the corner of his lips, but he hadn't time for noticing that himself because the man was already walking around the table, immensely casually like he had not just crashed in through the window a moment before, and Wooyoung thought he was fucking hot for it.

"What the hell was it that followed you?!"

The man ignored the outburst as he continued to the last empty and pulled it out before sitting down, minding nothing else but his own business. Wooyoung felt himself almost gasping for breath, and his eyes were glued to the man beside him as he stupefied leaned into San's armchair on his other side.

"My name's Park Seonghwa, thank you so much for taking an interest," the phoenix spoke, sugar-coating his annoyance with a sweet hum as he drew the napkin from the plate in front of him and fastened it to the collar of his white shirt; surely not up for staining his probably ass-expensive clothes.

Seonghwa turned his head and called for any maid who hadn't run off to the kitchen yet, scared to death. Soon, a neat-clothed servant came running to the table, hands filled with different kinds of dishes to serve this prince's taste. He thanked him curtly before sorting his cutlery and the servant filled his glass with a deep red wine that looked more like thick blood than anything else.

Then, a growl broke free at the table and Wooyoung flicked his slightly misted eyes to the werewolf whose piercing golden eyes and prominent black blood vessels started to show around those same eyes as he was staring down Seonghwa like he was a threat.

Everything fell like domino bricks.

In a matter of no time, half of the table was pulled into a hissing, growling, snarling mess of warnings escaping from scratchy throats; everyone turning alerted to intimidate the phoenix.

Situated in the seat in front of Seonghwa, Mingi asked lowly, "No, but what was it that followed you?" his red eyes came closer as he leaned over his clean crockery set, placing his hands down on the table's surface and slightly raising his tense body from his chair. And his words were not a question.

Glancing out of the crook of his eyes, the dragon watched Yeosang and how his eyes were shifting between so many colors despite his own fraught expression settling on his face.

But Seonghwa was unbothered - he simply ran his eyes over them all before his gaze settled on the demon and his answer was more than just provoking: "What makes you think that your audacity may inquire me a question like that and still expect an answer? What followed me concerns you nothing."

From the increasing threatening sounds, Wooyoung could only fear what had just been sparked alive.

For in the next passing seconds, black smoke and dust flew across the table, and Seonghwa's chair flew back as the phoenix himself was hauled up against the stone wall. The smaller demon was clamping his hands around the other's shoulders, as he forced him impossibly further back.

Hongjoong was growling him in the face, as he dug his fingers into the fine material of his suit, "How come you think it concerns us nothing when you literally led it right to the windows of this castle? You must be without any clear conscience.."

A split second, Wooyoung saw the expression grow on Seonghwa's face; eyebrows rising the slightest, but he didn't hear how the phoenix's blood started to boil uncontrollably.

"But you are a demon, after all, you desire trouble if I am correct. So why mind my foes this much by threatening me, if you instead could watch it all escalate from the shadows? Or are you concerned about what would happen to the others?"

He didn't know how to react to the statement or why he was even reacting like this in general. Seonghwa was right, he was protecting the others for reasons he wasn't really aware of, and somehow Hongjoong's best guess would be that huge puppy and his stupid puppy-pheromones radiating from him and sticking to everyone in this room.

His thoughts had been straying for too long, and Hongjoong knew from the fingers attacking him like hawk claws, wrapping around his throat and tightening. But that wasn't everything..

because the hand was fucking burning him, heat licking against his skin as an immense pain shooted through his whole body, and Hongjoong's black eyes rolled back in his skull as he groaned. Thank hell he had a high pain tolerance.

Seonghwa was letting flames wander against Hongjoong's skin under his fingers as smoke arose from the meet as he pushed the demon with him away from the wall, his own arms had gone slack.

"No! Please stop this!!" one of the others yelled at them, but Seonghwa's wrath had surely already gotten the better of him.

And when footsteps attempted on following, the mad man turned around, his free arm swaying around and fire growing in an almost too perfect half-circle around him and Hongjoong, "I warn you: if you dare follow me to where I go, I will not hesitate to give you the same treatment as him."

Seonghwa was definitely not going easy on his image, Hongjoong thought under the heat striking in his head.

Feeling as if choking on his own boiling blood, he was hauled under the might of the phoenix's hand into a random empty chamber where he finally let go of the demon again. Hoongjoong bend his head around, spitting black blood onto the floor as his short-tempered self glared at the taller man stepping closer. His throat's skin and parts of his jaws were burnt red and black as blisters started bobbling visible from the abuse with fire.

Hongjoong spat in the direction of Seonghwa, his previously strangled throat made his voice sound husky as he spoke, "I will be your worst nightmare when you close your eyes. You will fear that I might be the one breathing you in the neck, and when you turn around to see will you beg me to end your suffering already - but I won't, because you're a pathetic bird, who can't fucking die."

Taking another step in front of him, Seonghwa suddenly towered his height once more and Hongjoong looked right into the man's fire dancing inside his red eyes with no fright at all.

"I will send you back to hell," he told him, flexing his jaws angered.

Two hands wrapped around his head as he was pushed another step back again, and the stupid bird's hot breath fanned over his face while their noses touched. But Hongjoong felt the shift in demeanor.

"Let us make a deal, demon. Tell me your weakness, and I will let you feed off me for the exchange..." the whisper ascended to the chamber's air, coating every movement with its intention.

His lips gusted Hongjoong's own, pliable and seeking more, which Hongjoong greeted with his own. They molded into each other, pleasing the hot pit forming in Hongjoong's stomach to his every delight, and not very long after he was pulling the phoenix closer by his tie. Seonghwa's kisses were hot and warm, but it was a whole different sensation of heat than the one which just had burnt him with. This one was pleasing and cozy at the same time it sparked a desirable interest in the way his tongue started trailing the texture of his bottom lip stickily before pushing in through the gap.

And holy shit, this man's tongue was long. He felt it reach so deep into his mouth that he wasn't sure if it actually would continue down his abused throat. Hongjoong's mind clouded and he moaned around the feeling of Seonghwa's tongue mapping out his teeth and the soft bundle of one muscle. The man was turning Hongjoong's head as he pleased, and every heated emotion went straight to satisfy Hongjoong's needs.

Steered down into a chair, Hongjoong let another moan out as Seonghwa filled his lap with his long legs astride and nice ass. The demon's hands smoothed down under his suit, running around the phoenix's surprisingly lean waist and down to cup his behind. It had the kiss stall for a moment, Seonghwa looking down into his very dark-hooded eyes with an expectant smile on his pretty redly swollen lips.

Hongjoong only told him one single word.

"... No ..."
