His gaze snapped at the other as he held a certain qualm about the circumstances. Having Prince Seonghwa stand within a radius of 3 meters did not help either.

"Why are you still here?" he posed, lips drawn in a thin line as he eyed the other prince's unreal expression.

The other prince made his way around the corner of the bed, and pulled the chair over, "Because someone has to look out for you, and I so happen to be the one taking on that responsibility as I am the only one who can keep you alive until we figure out how to solve the curse and get you out of this castle."

Seonghwa's eyes rested on him and Yeosang fought the urge to scurry away from his sight and hide underneath his soft duvet. The fairie was unsure of how much his eyes were revealing himself as he adjusted the way he seated.

"So," he started, rather flatly, "You will pretend to be my personal guard until we can escape this place?" His throat burned when the only visible change Yeosang could see on the other's face was how blood-curdling the curve of his eyebrow twitched.

"What is it you really want from me?"

The phoenix leaned forward in his seat, his chin in his palm as he rested his elbows down on his knees, "Yeosang, why do you not believe me?"

What?

He felt how the warmth wandered down along his arms the more Prince Seonghwa was staring at him with that pinch of brood. Yeosang did not like it.

"Give me one reason for me to trust you," he said, subconsciously crossing his arms for more protection in his enervated state. Something told him that Seonghwa had another agenda going around behind his acts of kindness. Everything felt wrong. The phoenix had something going on with the demon prince and now he wanted to care for him. They must be plotting something and Yeosang most definitely did not want to be part of it. He had already been tainted with enough dark magic.

Seonghwa was looking at him without moving and the fairie did not understand. The lack of an immediate answer was enough for him to believe his own comprehension of the situation could only be true.

"Right." Yeosang's throat tightened, "There are none."

It seemed to do the trick, as dread suddenly crossed the other prince's features like he was grasping his last straw. And yet, he spent his chance by voicing that.

"You remember that night."

His breath got stuck in his throat - everything around him darkening as his heart thrummed in his reddening ears. Yeosang stuttered, his arms tightening around himself as he looked angrily at Seonghwa's creased brows.

"Don't," the fairie said, not wanting the memories to flood back. The touches. His seething skin.

Seonghwa's mouth on him.

His eyes wavered down to the floor before he pulled the chair a little closer and Yeosang lost the hold of his own breath.

Prince Seonghwa leaned forward, a flat hand landing on the mattress before he lifted his head to Yeosang again, "I need to hear it from you. I need to know.."

He was full of so much desperation that it made the fairie bleed with embarrassment.

"You must not understand how important it is for me to keep this from nestling in my head," Yeosang breathed and quickly found his hands clamping around the pillows behind his back, "But I do."

Seonghwa shifted his weight, intrigued by his answer.

"And it was..-" Yeosang's words hoarded in his mouth, unable to be spoken.

Horrible, disgusting, repulsive, abhorrent.

The fairie choked. For he could not lie.

He closed his eyes.

At some point, Seonghwa moved away from the bedside and came back with a glass of water instead. Yeosang eyed the liquid swimming around the clear material, sceptically, when Seonghwa handed it over. It glistered strangely in the light.

"I have added a few drops of my tears to the water," the phoenix told him before finding the chair again.

The fairie prince grimaced as he held the glass to his nose, trying to smell the clear substance. But it carried no odor.

Seonghwa's silverish hair framed his face innocently as he nodded at the glass, "If you do not drink this, I can promise that you will literally die within the next few days. The spell you did on yourself has taken the last spark of energy in your body. You will need my magic to temporarily heal."

Defeated, the prince lifted the glass to his lips and took a sip.

It tasted fresh, like the mint they grew at home.

"So, what now," Yeosang's eyes snapped at the other, "Am I going to follow your every demand because you basically are my only lifeline here?"

The other prince was startled at his harsh words despite how smoothly he let them pass his stance. "Of course not," he said, "You can refuse my offer if you so wish to end it all here. Although, I hope you will not. You are your own person, Prince Yeosang. And as you know, my magic is not binding in any way, I only wish for you to be helped until we are out of this castle and you can properly heal again.."

It almost sounded too truthful.

"I have no foul intentions - the only reason why I came to this castle was for the ways of peaceful negotiations with the other kingdoms. Not in any way do I want war."

Yeosang decided not to say anything, resuming with drinking whatever Seonghwa had served him. But his head was full of thoughts, some that he knew he could never voice.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a white shadow landing on the tip of Seonghwa's nose. Yeosang suppressed the urge to gasp in sheer surprise when he had most definitely not anticipated the little creature to come back.

Seonghwa was frozen in his seat, cross-eyed as he stared at the butterfly carefully wandering up the bridge of his nose. She was inspecting him - thoroughly. Before she suddenly fluttered her wings, letting them kiss the prince's skin with grace before leaving him to circle around the fairie's head. She found ease on Yeosang's outstretched hand before quickly crawling up the length of his arm and soundlessly chirping small whispers into his ear.

The vampire had wakened a few times before to the silence of his own room. But this time, he could sense the screaming presence before even seeing him. Hongjoong was there, in front of him, staring right down into his face with a determined, ugly smug smile. Mingi did not move even after opening his eyes.

"What do you want?"

It had been better if his deep, groggy voice actually had been scaring the other off, but of course, it had not. The demon did not even flinch from his position with his head right above Mingi's, turning upside down.

Instead, he told him: "I'm here to make sure you get better."

Mingi paused, however, his expression never changed the slightest despite his dubiety of whether the demon prince actually meant what he was saying or if it was pure lies. The vampire leaned towards the latter.

"Oh, little liar.." Mingi said breathlessly, a smirk stretching his lips, "I fear that you do not have me convinced."

Instantly, the demon's expression mirrored his own before he rounded the enormous bed and came crawling closer, "And what will it take me to convince you?"

It stung when he parted his dry lips another time, "You are in none possession of anything that I possibly could ever desire."

Hongjoong chuckled, his dangerous eyes drawing lines down Mingi's face, "What makes you think that?"

A low grumble soared from his chest, but the vampire was too exhausted to do anything about the current situation. He could only let the demon crouch down into his bed, having him follow the still visible lines of the wound around his neck with his little fingers. Suddenly his black, hollow eyes seemed to snap up at the vampire prince's which had Mingi nearly unseeing how the other was still coming closer.

"I could kiss you better?"

Mingi scowled, "I'd rather not. I don't like the taste of venom."

Sounding disappointed, the demon prince whined, his bottom lip pushed forward into a pout like he actually was hurt, "But that's not fair - you barely even had a taste of real venom yet!"

Then his face switched, different muscles contracting and extending until he was twisting his head around while hovering right above Mingi's face, "Ah well, what else can I offer you? My blood perhaps?"

Spitting in his face, Mingi hissed, his body aching, "I can't drink your blood, you fool. Now tell me the real reason why you've come here before I bloody gut you alive."

Hongjoong let out a surprised laugh, brows rising with what looked like utter disbelief, "Fine. Ah, I like the forwardness," he purred, sickly sugary, "So, I seek to know what kind of affair there's between you and sweet, sweet prince Yunho. You two seem to know each other quite well.."

Mingi paled - if that was even possible for how little amount of blood his body was currently working with. His fangs proved themselves threatening as he snarled out his response to the other prince's prying question. "To hell with you."

The demon blinked a few exaggerated times - the bastard was playing with him, "Are you sure?"

"Mine and Yunho's relation is none of your business," Mingi stated with a sharp tongue.

However, his averting words did not seem to drive Prince Hongjoong further away from him as he had hoped.

"What a pity..," the demon sighed heavily, his eyes rolling in a deep pit, "I had hoped you would be willing to share your fairytale with me..." For every word he said, he came closer. And closer.

His tenebrous breath swallowed Mingi's head, creeping a hold up around his shoulders when he could still not move his body properly. Hongjoong giggled at Mingi's failing attempts at moving himself before he placed his palm flatly on top of his chest.

"There is no such fairytale you twaddle about," he hissed out.

"And yet you are clearly affected by this conversation we're having, hm?" Hongjoong smirked, pushing his palm up towards his neck, before tightly grabbing around it. He squeezed and the vampire prince groaned in pain.

The demon chuckled darkly and Mingi failed to perceive how, but all too suddenly the other was on top of him, leaning down until his lips ghosted his ear, "I think you need a distraction from Prince Yunho.."

Cold lips were touching the shell of his ear and Mingi growled when a tongue curled around it. The demon hummed in response to the sound of discomfort, his shallow breath tickling the vampire's instincts to fight back, terribly.

It was disgusting. The demon's tongue followed down the knobby curves of cartilage until his mouth connected with Mingi's pale cheek, the wet sensation spreading along his jaws as firm hands briefly grabbed around his slender waist before letting go again and doing an even tighter grasp on the vampire's shoulder's. Mingi flared with what little heat he held.

Dark eyes lifted to hover over his own, breathlessly as rosy lips were licked. Those cunning eyes were looking for an answer, throwing Prince Mingi off for a hot moment as he had trouble connecting his limp body with his spinning head.

"Ain't I right?" he cocked his head, the black slight-curled hair falling into his eyes as his chest rapidly moved, in and out.

His mind was torn, bits pulling him in every direction despite he already knew that Hongjoong was right. He needed to think of something else than his beloved Yunho. Something that could keep his mind busy when his heart was still bleeding.

Everything burned when Mingi swallowed drily, "Go on," he hissed and continued rather provokingly, "Let's see if you will be enough of a distraction for me, demon."

With the bat of an eye, Mingi's hiss got swallowed into a shockingly greedy kiss. Hongjoong readjusted his legs, knees digging into the vampire's thighs as he pulled himself closer to the other. So close that Mingi could feel the rapid of a heart's beating against his chest. The tongue returned, licking down his lower lip to his chin - tearing up scarred memories as he willingly gave in to the touch. Perchance with a new spark of thirsting interest for the little demon prince.

When Hongjoong's body rolled down against his, the interest swelled in him and Mingi's weak wrists flicked with renewed energy, surging out and enclosing his fingers around the demon's hips.

Hongjoong moaned breathily as Mingi observed the way his eyes closed blissfully, a complacent smile around his lips as he leaned back. Pulling his hands away from Mingi, the demon grabbed his unbuttoned lounge coat and pulled it off, leaving him with a black, transparent long-sleeved half-open shirt slowly crawling down his left shoulder when he leaned down again after throwing his coat somewhere on the bed. The vampire met the other's lip with more life this time. His hands on Hongjoong's hips compelled him down as he coerced his tongue in between heavy fangs. It made a dark but honest taste enter his mouth as he drank it up more desperately than he originally had supposed.

And he thirsted for more.

Defined, the demon started rocking into him with little circles - having Mingi feel the bloody motion of the other's sinfully moving pelvis between both of his hands before he could even feel the drawing stimulation against his sensitive skin.

"Fuuck, mhmm, this is so good, Mingi," Prince Hongjoong moaned in between the heavy kisses, sounding so out of air.

Mingi's throat tightened with a growl at the other prince's filth that he couldn't tell if came from feasting off his roused energies or if he genuinely was feeling good because of the mere bodily touch. Whichever it was, the vampire did not care.

"You could do better," Mingi pressed as drool started filling his mouth at the pure sight of so much skin presented in front of him, making his teeth ache in unbearable hunger as he reminded himself that the blood filling those veins was poison to him.

The friction changed when Hongjoong broke the kiss and moved down his body. Before he got too far, a hand grabbed his neck, halting his movements entirely. Awed, Hongjoong's gaze lifted to his again, full of mischief. When Mingi's hand slowly loosened its hold and slid down along his uncovered collarbone and further over the bare skin of his shoulder - Hongjoong followed him with great interest as he lightly let his fingertips wander over the damp skin. The vampire only heard the rush of blood.

Suddenly, he harshly grabbed ahold of Hongjoong's hair and pushed his face down toward his crotch while his other hand worked the fly of his pants open. A startled sound left the other's lips as his hands quickly slammed into the mattress for balance.

"This is payback for what you made Yunho do," he mumbled, knowing that the demon heard it all. Everything.

Nimble fingers pulled down the waistband of both his pants and underwear, not waiting a beat longer before pulling out his cock, relieving some of the pent-up tension. The other hand still ground into the demon's hair jerked him forward again, lowering his face with a strong move until his lips touched his strained erection. Hongjoong's whine altered into a humming tune, his mouth opening by reflex, licking up the shaft with a sweet, knowingly pressure that nearly had Mingi halt his hand movement with a stutter.

What a lovely sight.

The vampire bit his lip when Hongjoong reached his head and was forced to swallow all of his length in one go. The demon choked. But Mingi let out the fucking deepest guttural groan until now. His grip tightened even more as he feared the friction would disappear at any time.

Hongjoong hollowed his cheeks as he curled his tongue around the cock in his mouth. He glanced up through strands of dark hair and Mingi knew the glint in those black eyes should only be perceived as a sign of danger. However, in the heat of the moment, the prince could not help but imagine how beautiful Hongjoong would look with all his bitemarks littered all over his skin.

Mingi sucked on his lip when the demon stared at him like he wanted to devour him. He frowned while irked and held Hongjoong down with less mercy before pulling his mouth up again as a pattern; until his body gave up and let him come.

Mingi's legs quivered, both hands clawed in the demon's hair as his lips parted with the sound of bliss. His girth stretched Hongjoong's mouth with something else than a smug smile, and Mingi enjoyed it while it lasted.

Before he could even react, Hongjoong easily pried himself out of his hands while he still swayed on the waves of pleasure. The next moment the demon prince landed a kiss on his forehead, gentle fingers lingering around his cheeks before he suddenly disappeared out of his chamber again. Mingi's head stopped whirling around for a moment as he was startled by the sudden act of tenderness.

Thinking it was a sweet gesture, Prince Mingi would soon know otherwise as the sticky substance of his own cum trickled down his forehead and into his eyes.
