Rose sat in the car with Tripp Vanderbilt, it was dark the road ahead was wet from the rain and deserted, they were the only two people on the road. 

"So else do you have on me and my family?" Trip questioned as he clutched onto the steering wheel.

"Wouldn't you like to know? Tripp you've done many things and before this happened I really did believe that you weren't like your family. You're not, you're worse and you actually think you can get away with it. This is not a negotiation, it never was. My sister deserves someone better than you." Tripp looked over at the young brunette.

"I love her, Rosalie."

"I don't believe you. You love the idea of her, because she is the complete opposite of Maureen." She turn her attention to him

"That's not true." Rose scoff then turn back just intake to see three wolves in the middle.

"Tripp, look out!" Trip slams on the breaks and turns the wheel

-12 hours earlier-

I sipped on my coffee while looking through the dossier that Andrew Tyler had composed on the Vanderbuilts. It interesting what people will try to bury.

"Hey, what are you still doing here?" Dan asks "I thought you'd be at your fathers grave."

"I have more important things to be doing. Besides I am honouring my father, I'm keeping my family intact and cleaning up Serena's mess." I drawl looking over the document.

"And why do you have to do that? Serena is an adult." Dan wondered folding his arms

"Yes, she is so why is she getting involved with a man who is A. married and B. he's a lying jerk face who won't leave his wife, the other woman rarely gets a happily ever after."

"Come on you've been sat here for the past 3 days, we're going out and you're taking a break from plotting a down fall." he dragged me away from the apartment and to Bleeker. Where we met Nate.

"Nate have you heard anything from Tripp or Serena, she's not answering my calls." I launch at him

"Uh no why."

"Fine, can you arrange a meeting with your Grandfather I want to talk to him." he sat up straighter

"Rose, whatever your planning don't do it." he warned me

"Nathaniel, meeting please and no lecture." I took out my phone and was messaging different people

"Oh hey, we were just talking about you."  I heard V comment

"oh?"

"We're going up to my country house this weekend and I wondered if the two of you wanted to come." Willa offered

"No, I'm busy." I stood up and went to order not looking away from my phone.

I walked  over to my fathers grave with the yellow Roses and one red rose. I placed them down.

"One year and so much has happened. I've missed you it's true, but Chuck is slowly beginning to thrive and as much as I love you i'm glad your not here because you'd hinder the making of a man we know he can be." I told my father

"Serena's in trouble...again and it has Lily at her wits end. I know she should left to make her own mistakes but this...this could be really damaging so in true Bass fashion. I'm attempting to control the situation. I will, I just need to find Serena and Tripp first." and with impeccable timing my  phone rang

"Yes, Nate."

"Serena just called, she and Tripp at the cottage in Nassau County. Tripp says he's with my Grandfather but I checked and he's in Bermuda. I'm on my way to her now but traffic is congested" he informed me

"I'll go get her I will have the chopper ready and be there in half the time. If you speak to her again, tell her I'm on my way." I hung up and rang for the chopper to be ready. I slipped into the car and was taken the fastest and less congested way. When I arrived the chopper was ready to go.

"Ready and waiting Miss Bass." I nodded and climbed inside and fixed myself in. We landed about 10 minutes away from the house, luckily I knew how to drive, better than I did before my accident. I remember speaking with my father who was adamant that I wouldn't dare get behind the wheel again. But I convinced him that I wouldn't be drunk and it was only for emergency's. I drove to the address Nate had sent me. Once I arrived I parked up, got out and knocked on the door. Serena answered

"Rosie." she breathed

"Ready to come home?"
