Daniel and I were getting ready for the Historical society gala, that was honouring Dad with a room. There was a knock on the door and Dan answered it.

"Rosie, it's your brother." He called. I came out and there Chuck was standing

"Hey, Bro."

"Sis, I'm gonna get straight to the point. I need some of your DNA to do a test against Elisabeth."

"Okay, but whatever the results she stays away from me." I finish my glass of cola off just as he gets out small bag I drop it in. "Anything else?"

"No."

"I will meet you out front  and we can walk in together." I tell him, he gives a brief nod then leaves.

"So he asks you for a DNA sample and you just give it? That is some trust."

"I trust him with most things, key word being most. I'm gonna finish getting ready." I head back to the bedroom to do just that.

We arrive at the gala and we walk past the protesters idiots who don't know my brother the new version of him.

"You go ahead I'm gonna wait for my brother." Dan nods and kisses my cheek. I wait off to the side and when Chuck arrives I smile. We hug and I take his arm then the two of us walk in together much to the stares and whispers of other people. Lily is there to greet us, We embrace her.

"I have a feeling you're to thank for the turn out tonight." Chuck spoke to her

"People are here because they support you. None of us believe the slander." Mom assured us

"Thank you, that means more to me than you know."

"Did you come here alone? I know you came with Dan but I thought you would bring Blair." Mom commented "And maybe someone else that you wanted me to meet."

"What?" I ask him and he sighs "Do not tell me you were going to bring that imposter to this event."

"I'm sorry." Mom apologises to my brother

"Chuck!"

"I didn't want to cause scene. Besides she promised not to bother you and when she heard Jack would make an appearance she bailed. But then it got complicated."

"I'm going to find Dan, thank you...Mom." she smiled happily as she embraced me once more before I left to find Dan. Instead i found Jack.

"Rosalie, looking fierce as ever."

"Why are you here? How dare you even step foot back here after what you did." Jack held his hands up

"I come in peace."

"You never do, that's why Dad hated you and shipped you off to the other side of the world. It's why I kicked your ass and you go anywhere near me or my family I will do  it again. Leave us alone." I shoved my way past him and continued to find Dan. I strutted further into the gallery and saw him talking with Jenny. We clocked eyes and he came over.

"What's going on you look angry."

"Jack's here." i told him "As in the Uncle Jack that tried to assault mom and I at the Opera gala. I should have figured it out, they're in on it together the law suit, Elisabeth everything that's happened it's all them."

"Okay cam down. Where is he now, did you get him to leave."

"Technically he's family and hasn't done anything here so no.... besides I don't want to overshadow tonight with me loosing my temper. Why can't we just catch a break?" I groan in frustration

"I don't know but we'll get through this okay?" I sighed and nodded "Let's get you some water." we left to get some and when we came back there was a commotion. Nate had been knocked to the floor.

"Nate hey. Are you okay?" Dan helped him up from the floor

"Yeah"

"What happened?" I ask

"Jenny ran of with Damien. The guys a drug dealer." he told us

"What?" Dan asked

"He's staying at the Smyth."

"Okay I'm gonna call you when I find them." Nate breathed

"I'm coming with you. Dan tell my brother what's going on Lily and Rufus too." I tell him then run off with Nate.  We grab out coats and make a break for the Smyth. We enter the hotel.

"Can you tell us which hotel room Damien Delgard is in." he asked the woman at the front desk

"I'm sorry, i can't give out that information. Would you like me to call up?"

"I seriously doubt he's gonna answer the phone considering he's up there alone with a 16 year old girl." that convinced her she took us up and opened the door we bursted in but no one was there.

"Shit." we cursed

"Where else could they have gone?" I question.

"I don't know they could be at any other hotel in the city." Nate replied and I let out a frustrated scream. Then text Dan that she's not here.

"I'm gonna meet back up with Dan."

"Okay." I headed back over to Brooklyn when I got back everyone was waiting.

"Anything?"

"She's back in her room safe and sound, she just got back actually." Dan told me and I breathed a sigh of relief. Serena came out of Jenny's room. And I went in and sat next to her, she took out her earphones.

"What?" she asks grumpily. I didn't say anything just pulled her into a hug, she melts and hugs me back

"Can you keep a secret?" she whispers and I humm

"Yeah."

"I told Serena that I slept with Damien but I didn't he bolted and left me alone." I pulled her tighter

"I don't know anything, I promise." I kissed her head "But next time you wanna date a bad boy at least make sure he's over a six." she laughed

"I'm serious, I've seen more men who are easier on the eyes. And you deserve to have someone who is gonna at least be there when you wake up." I told her

"Was your's?"

"I don't even remember who mine was? I remember wake up the next day and  the little bloodstain on the sheets. That's not how it should be."

"Really?" she sat up

"Yeah, the second and third time sucked as well, but after that it was average, till I met your brother." I smiled slightly

"Eww gross." she whined "I so did not wanna here that."

"I think I need to say that to him more often, when he has an ego boost..."

"Rosie!" she exclaimed as I took her phone

"Dirty Dancing. Classic. Patrick Swayze is a total dream. 'Nobody puts baby in a corner' Oh boy did I ever have multiple dreams of that happening to me. Some of them were x rated not for you delicate ears." I cover them for a moment but then the moment became somber.

"I am really glad you're safe, you had me worried for a second."

"I'm sorry." she looked down ashamed and I tucked a stray piece of hair back.

"I'm not the one you should say those words to. Besides your Dad is annoying but at least he's there. As much as I loved my Dad he had a tendency of showing up after the bad shit went down. Daughter are supposed to make their father sweat a bit but us two tend to take it a little far."

"I know." I got off the bed

"Get some sleep, love you Little J." I smile

"Love you too Rosie." she put her headphones back in and I left her room, Serena and Vanessa had left.

"I heard laughter, what were you talking about?" Rufus wondered

"Something a father should not hear. Don't worry it was nothing bad, I swear. Just something that would gross her out for a while I hope." I admitted vaguely

"Here's hoping."

"night, guys." Dan and I headed downstairs, I took off my heels.

"One day our lives won't be so dramatic." Dan comments and I laugh.
