Reading my book in my straight jacket and on my bed, I awaited my doom

Every page I turn transports me to another place, another time, another world, another reality, it's just a matter of deciding what page I want to be on.

Allowing one chapter to swallow me whole, I was teleported to an unknown universe with a whole new timeline.

Can you believe it, for a while there I thought this was heaven but realized I was looking at earth from Innerspace?

However I was mistaken, the earth's only one of the many universes, allowing one to peer through the looking glass with another set of eyes,

In plain sight, it was there for everyone to see, including my Mum, for whom it was a slap in the face, that I quite clearly enjoyed my headspace, more than their E=MC2 reality.

Nothing's better than hindsight, with a change of binoculars, I viewed the world differently than I once did.

Graciously I bow my head to He-Man, oh my God, it's my childhood hero, the Master of the Universe is dancing across the skyline.
