I just got back from school and I'm so tired.

"Candice, remove your shoes," My mom scolded me but I can't lift a finger. It's too hot outside.

Our house was air-conditioned as I lay my body on the sofa. Then I remembered Johnny's funny face and I immediately laughed. I grabbed the family picture on your coffee table and sees how cute Johnny was when he was a little kid.

I remembered the days, those old memories that I'll never forget.

"So where are you moving?" My friend asked

"California," I simply answered.

"How about Johnny?"

"Hmm? I wonder where?" I asked as I glanced at him, he's busy talking to one of our classmates.

"Huh? What do you mean you wonder where?"

"Could it be..."

I turned back my attention to them as I smile, "I don't really know besides I haven't asked him."

That's right, ever since both of us found out about us moving, we've never asked where the other is going to.

You see we can really contact each other if we want to. In this kind of era, it's not that hard. It's not something we should make a big deal of.

"Candice, aren't you going home?"

I almost stumbled on my seat when I saw Johnny in front of me. Since when he's there?

"What are you spacing out for? Worried about something?"

I poked his eyes for him to stop talking, I heard him groaned in pain.

"THAT HURTS CANDICE LERAE!"

"Shut up Johnny! Let's go home, I'm starving!"

That's what I think, so I'm sure Johnny's thinking the same thing. We're acting like usual.

"'Till next time man!" A boy next class even gave him a high five, "Yeah."

"What is it? You've been staring. Something's on my face?" He asked

"Wha-?! I wasn't looking! Who would stare at your face?" I retorted back and he smirked at me. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

Besides, I'm sure we'll see each other again.

I snapped back in reality when my mom hit my legs, "I told you to remove your shoes, you lazy child!"

I pouted and did what she asked for. I wonder why I keep thinking about Johnny lately?

I must be insane! Why her? Why Rhea Ripley? She's arrogant and acts like a tomboy but lately, she's looking like a fairy. She nags a lot at simple mistakes. And she's not my type of girl but why? Why is she all I can think about?

I glanced at Kyle who's busy writing notes, he's been studying for hours already. Isn't he getting tired? Kyle must be worried at his grades, and he doesn't want to be held back for another year.

Bobby Fish, on the other hand, is busy playing games at his laptop and Roddy's texting on his phone.

I wanted to talk about it to them but I'm not sure about my feelings. What if I'm just imagining things? Not that I didn't believe Roddy, what if those words he told me was just a big coincidence?

I'm staring at her IG profile. It's in private and I can't see anything aside from her profile picture.

"What's with you that I can't get you off on my mind?" I mumble staring at her profile picture.

A notification from my phone was the one who woke me up.

"HOLY SHIT!" I exclaimed when I saw what happened.

"The hell Adam?!" Kyle reacted loudly when he heard me.

Shit! I thought. I don't know what happened but Rhea followed me back on IG! FOLLOWED ME BACK! So that means? Did I follow her last night? Did I really click it? HUH? I'm getting insane. I don't remember I did something ridiculous.
