I've been waiting here at Lawson for about fifteen minutes as I keep glancing at my wristwatch. What if Adam Cole doesn't know the location of this Lawson? Oh no! I forgot to ask his contact number! What am I gonna do?

I picked my phone and I was about to contact someone for help when I felt a hand on my right shoulder. Oh! His hand was rough! 

"Oh! You really took your time, Adam Co----" I stopped talking when I turned around and saw him.

"Sorry to keep you waiting-----"

【 DAKOTA KAI's POINT OF VIEW 】

OMG! Where the hell is my Baby Cakes?! It's already 7:30 and he's not here yet. What if he chose Tegan over me? That bitch! 

"Here's your order, Dakota." 

"Shut up, Mia! We're not close!" I leered at her and paid the bills.

I saw Mia rolled her eyes. Mia Yim...the girl who obviously have a crush on her best friend. Whatever! I'm here to enjoy my date and not to talk about Mia. 

Ten minutes passed by and there's no sign that he's coming! Oh no! This cannot be happening! I prepared my dress, I put makeups on and I already paid the bills.....for nothing?

I was about to go home when they Subway door suddenly opened and it ejected,

"BROOOOOOOOO!" 

Oh no! He shouldn't see me like this! I hide under the table.

"Mia Yim! Your shift was over, right?" 

"Twenty minutes left." Mia answered.

"Okay, bro! I'm gonna wait for you here 'cause we're going to your best friend's house and party!" He enthusiastically exclaimed.

Matt Riddle shouted like he own the place. 

"Will you quiet down? We have customer." Mia scolded.

"Huh?" I saw Matt looked around, "Where's your customer, bro?" 

"She's right......where did she go?"

"Maybe she went away already." 

"There's still more twenty minutes, just wait."

Oh no! Why is he staying! Isn't it awkward when I show myself to Matt Riddle?

Meanwhile, someone unexpectedly shows up,

"Hey Fish, how much fish could Bobby Fish fry if  Bobby Fish could fry fish?"

"Shut up! I'm not here for your stupid jokes, Matthew!"

"Whatever, Fish!" 

Bobby suddenly looked at my direction as he bend down, "Dakota? Why are you hiding there?"

GREAT! Now what?

I went out from the table and showed myself up.

"Oh my god! A ghost!" Matt freaked out and I rolled my eyes, "Excuse me, I'm not a ghost."

"Why are you here?" I raised my brows on Bobby Fish.

"I came to see you. Duh!"

I looked at him in disgust, "Where's my Baby Cakes?"

"Who's Baby Cakes?" The annoying Matt Riddle interjected himself again.

 "My Boy couldn't come. So I, the great and irresistible Bobby Fish came here to entertain you, as just what he said." Bobby smirked.

I'm so confused?! Why? Did he picked Tegan over me?! This is ridiculous! 

I caught Matt Riddle observing my face as I gritted my teeth in anger. I grabbed my bag and hit Bobby Fish's face then I stormed off.

【 RHEA RIPLEY's POINT OF VIEW 】

Just as I thought, it was a tiring day. I can still feel the pain on my left shoulder.

The nurses were looking at me like I've grown two heads. The hell was that? I ignored them as I knocked on the door twice and went inside.

The first thing I see is a smiling face of my friend. It's like she's expecting me to show up.

"Hey Rhea! It's good to see you again." She cheerfully said as she waves her hand.

"Be careful, dammit!" I felt anxious whenever she waved her hand like that.

"You don't have to worry, the nurse said it'll be fine." She replied, smiling reassuringly as she eyed her bandage hand. I sighed as I presented her the net of watermelons.

"Woah! You brought melons? Finally! Something I can eat." She yelled and her face turns horror when she saw the nurse went inside. The nurse even glared at her.

She clasped her hands over her mouth. I shook my head as I bit my lips stopping myself from laughing how ridiculous she is.

She's Toni Storm. My best friend for who knows? Probably, since time immemorial? She's a remarkable beauty with soft features. She had a long straight ash blond hair, naturally rosy cheeks and jade colored eyes.

But she's so reckless, reasoned why she ended up in this hospital.

When the nurse was done doing her things and excuse herself from the room, I heard Toni speak. "I really appreciate you visiting me today."

"Of course," I replied as I pat her head, "You know if you need help, just let me know."

"Did something happen in school?" She asked softly, taking a bite to the sliced watermelon.

"Why?"

"You looked pissed."

"That's not it. Don't worry."

"Alright."

As always, she didn't pry. This is what I like about her. She won't annoy you if you don't want to talk about it. We were startled when someone cries outside as the door immediately opened.

"TONI DEAR!" A beautiful woman wails as she went towards Toni and hugged her tightly.

"M-mom! I-I c-can't breathe..." Toni uttered pushing her Mom away.

"You're so dramatic sweetie!" Her mom pointed out.

"I'll go to the restroom first," I said as I excuse myself.

Toni's mom smiled at me as she nods. I went out to give them some privacy. It's not new

As I closed the door, I saw a very familiar face. I think I'm hallucinating. I rubbed my eyes plenty of times and I'm not mistaken Tsk! The reptile is here! The arrogant Adam Cole with his stupid catchphrase. 

I raised my eyebrows but it doesn't seems like he notice me as he walks straightly and stopped to the next room. I just ignored him and went straightly to the restroom.

After I used restroom, I went back to her room when I heard murmurs from the nurses. Do they have time to talk nonsense to each others when they have a lot of patients.

"Is his name's Adam Cole?"

"Yeah! That handsome young man that looking out for his dad."

"Poor kid had to suffer this thing at his age."

"Sssh don't say that. It's not like his dad is dead yet."

"He's in coma for two years and we don't know when he'll wake up."

"That kid was always on time paying his dad hospital bills."

"He's a working student right?"

"I don't know."

I ignored them as I went straight to Toni's room.

"What took you so long? My mom went home already." Toni said.

"I'm going home too, Toni. See you next time. And please be careful."

"Take care Rhea!"

"Bye Toni."
