Jordan groaned, rubbing his tired eyes. He was working on blueprints and has been for what seems like days now. His mind felt as if it was melting or he was gonna pass out from exhaustion, so when he almost did, the doorbell made his jolt up and almost fall. He gets up, making his way up to the entrance, he opened the door seeing Tucker holding an exhausted Wag up and a worried Sonja stood in front of them. She looked at Jordan, instantly noticing the circles under his eyes making her worried.

Her attention lately has been focused on Wag and Tucker. But Wag most of all, she's just worried because she's never seen Wag so unlike himself before. So she has forgotten about Jordan and his struggles with Ianite dying and Guard Tom leaving, he hasn't really been like himself either. Jordan's always not been one to talk about feelings, but he does ask for help every now and then, but after his goddess' death, he's shut everyone out completely. But Syndicate has been keeping an eye on him.

Jordan looks at Wag.

"W-What happened t-to Wag?" Jordan asked before looking back at her. Sonja hesitated before she spoke. 'He looks rough.' She thought. Sonja glanced at Wag for a second.

"Can James stay here with you for a few days?" She asked Jordan looked at Wag and nodded.

"Of course, he can have Guard Tom's room...not like he's using it anymore," Jordan said before moving out of their way, letting them in. Tucker helped Wag get up the stairs since the elevators were in need of fixing. They went into the room, the one room that isn't covered in bright colors at every turn. Sonja pulled the blankets back, Tucker and Jordan got Wag to the bed.

"Waglington, it isn't like you are drunk or anything, so can you at least put in a little effort?" Tucker asked annoyed. Tucker didn't mind helping Wag walk, but Jordan's towers are far from Sonja's place and Tucker had to help walk Wag there since they were scared that his phantom bridge would be too much for Wag to handle. They got Wag to lay down where he passed out once his head hit the pillow. Sonja pulls the blankets over him, covering him up. They all go downstairs, Tucker groaned, rubbing the back of his neck.

"That was a workout," Tucker said.

"What's going on?" Jordan asked. Sonja explains all that happened to him while Tucker helped himself to the kitchen. Jordan nods a bit, looking away. "Okay, I'll keep the Ianitas away from him best I can. They are sleeping right now." Her eyes soften.

"That must be nice." She said. Jordan looked at her, nodding.

"Yeah, it is. Everything is quiet instead of havoc. But they usually behave themselves so...Martha has been helping me but she stopped suddenly. I guess it was because of Wag because she didn't tell me otherwise. I'll look after him too, don't worry. He'll be fine." Jordan said. Sonja nodded.

"Okay, message us if he wakes up, okay?" She asked. Jordan nods before they both leave, and a pair of little arms wrap around Jordan's legs. He looks down, seeing a little girl with long purple hair and purple eyes staring back at him. He smiled a bit.

"What are you doing up, sweetheart?" He asked.

"Speriools." She mumbled as her arms were up towards him meaning she wanted up. He crouches down, picking her up and putting her on his hip.

"What is it?"

"Hungry." She said. Jordan nods.

"Okay, let's fix that and then back to naptime, sound good?" He asked. She nods at him smiling.

Jordan was busy shifting through chests when Wag came out of the room. He looked over his shoulder, at him.

"Hey, Wag. You feeling better?" He asked. Wag stopped, looking at Jordan, he looked away, looking around.

"Y-Yeah...I didn't kn-know I was at your p-place." Wag stuttered painfully. His head still hurt a lot, but he was getting tired of sleeping all day. Jordan looks back at his chest.

"Sonja and Tucker brought you here. Sonja asked me to message her when you woke up--" Wag looks at Jordan.

"N-No. Don't. I-I've been b-burdening her enough with this." Wag said as Jordan shut the chest.

"With this...what is this? What's going on?" Jordan asked standing up straight, turning towards him. Wag looked at him, a bit panicked, he is leaning against the doorway for support. 'If I'm honest, I don't even know what's going on. I have an idea, but not one that I'm comfortable with sharing with everyone, I've caused such a hassle in their lives, I can figure this out on my own.' Wag thought to himself. Wag's eyes looked away, not speaking, which Jordan just sighed, not wanting to press him any further. "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. But something is obviously going on that I have been missing." Wag's eyes flicker to Jordan.

"Yeah, but y-you have a g-good reason to miss out--" Jordan crosses his arms, shaking his head.

"No...No I don't. Tom called me frantic when you went missing, it was the most distressed I have ever heard him before....expect that time when he thought Dianite was gonna kill him since he kills his own good back home." Jordan said smiling a bit at the end. Wag looked away. Jordan uncrossed his arms. "I'm fine, really, I am. I'll get over it, I'm used to having people in my life either die or just leave suddenly. It's gotten to the point where....it doesn't hurt that much...just feel numb now." Wag looked at him, seeing Jordan's upset.

"Jordan, you don't have too--"

"I guess I had it coming to me. I mean....why should I have someone? I'm better alone anyway." Jordan said quietly. Wag stared at him, now concerned.

"You s-still have u-us. We aren't g-going anywhere." Wag said. Jordan smiled a bit before Ianita ran in. Wag looked at her. "Oh, and y-you have the Ianitas too. It isn't like y-you lost everything." Jordan loses his smile, he looks at Wag.

"Capsize...Ianite--"

"Jordan--"

"Wag don't act like you knew Capsize cause you didn't. You just stayed with your brothers, ignoring us back home. Her brother tried to kill himself because he lost her. S-She--" Jordan stopped talking, Ianita pulling on his pant leg. Jordan's expression softens, he stepped back, sitting on his chest, his face in his hands as he spoke with a shaky voice. "J-Just...go a-away Wag." Wag stared at him, about to speak but didn't. He wasn't very good at comforting people, but he hated seeing Jordan like this. Wag nods a bit.

"I-I'll give you space," Wag mumbled to him before he left. Ianita stopped pulling on Jordan's pant leg. Her expression sadden.

"Ookkaayyzz." She said about to leave with Jordan picked his head up.

"No, wait Ianita, sweetheart. I'm sorry, come back." Jordan said. Ianita stopped looking at him.

"Buttzz Spuroklez sad." She said to him. Jordan's eyes soften. before she turned and left, running to her sisters. Jordan's eyes dropped to the floor, he put his hands through his hair. 'I can't believe I j-just snapped at Wag and Ianita...' Jordan thought before his eyes watered, he covers his face instantly, then he heard a voice shout from downstairs. Jordan didn't move, knowing it is Syndicate. He's been checking on Jordan regularly ever since Jordan's goddess died and Guard Tom left. Syndicate comes up the elevator, seeing Jordan.

"You okay, man?" He asked. Jordan lowers his hands, looking away.

"Yeah...I just yelled at Wag." Jordan mumbled. Syndicate nods a bit.

"Okay--"

"I should probably go apologize--"

"No, I will, you look like you are gonna pass out if you take one step. Nightmares getting to you again?" Syndicate asked. Jordan nodded, Syndicate looked over at Ianita when she and her sisters came in. Syndicate knew not to press on the subject of Jordan's nightmares, they have been happening ever since Capsize died, but once Ianite died again, they got worse. He looked at Jordan, seeing him smiling at the girls.

"I haven't started dinner, but I'm gonna," Jordan said forcing a smile at them. They all then jumped wanting to help to make Syndicate smile. "Go up to the kitchen, I'll meet you all there." They all left the two alone, Jordan losing his smile, as well as Syndicate. Jordan's been trying to hide his sadness from the girls, but Syndicate knows he isn't doing so good.

"I'll talk to Waglington, you go make dinner for them before they raid the kitchen again." He said making Jordan smile, nodding.

"Thank you."

"No problem bud. Good night man." Syndicate said on his way out.

"Night," Jordan responded. Syndicate flew up into the air, about to go to the Wag's tower when he noticed Wag near the water. Syndicate flew down over to him.

"Yo, Waglington! Jordan wanted too......Wag?" Syndicate asked.

'Tom, be careful. Something isn't right.' Spirit Dianite told him. Syndicate pulled his hand away, not on edge. He careful went around him, facing him. Wag's eyes flicker to Syndicate, stepping back like he's gathering his senses, he looked around and jumped when he saw Syndicate. Syndicate stared at him.

"You okay there, Wag?" He asked. Wag looked at him, his hand on his head.

"Yeah, I just zoned out is all." Wag said looking away from him.

'Syndicate, take that excuse. I think I know what is going on.' Spirit Dianite said in Syndicate's head. Syndicate nodded, accepting the excuse.

"Okay, Jordan wanted to apologize for snapping by the way." Syndicate said. Wag glanced at him.

"No, it's fine. He's been through a lot lately." Wag said making Syndicate is taken aback. 'Wow, for a guy who has been barely able to speak correctly or walk by himself for the last few days, he sure my a speedy recovery all a sudden.' Syndicate thought making his eyes narrow at him but didn't ask since Dianite wanted him to leave.

"Okay, just checking. I'm gonna go, so take it easy, I'm serious. Don't you go disappearing on us again like that." Syndicate said before he left, going towards his base. "What is it you think is going on, Dianite?"

'I think I know...but I'm hoping I'm wrong. So you and Mot are going to be looking into this.' He told Syndicate. Syndicate landed in his base, still confused.

"Into what?" He asked.

'You'll see.'
