I'm sorry if this doesn't apply to you. If it doesn't now, it probably will later. Even if you don't believe it now.

Have you ever not been able to get someone out of your head?

Have you ever been stuck on someone?

Well, so have I. And pretty much the rest of the world. And we all know how much it sucks.

This might seem really random coming from me, the girl that posts too much about bands and books, but with the start of school, it's harder to escape to the internet. Hello real human emotions. 

I realize that being stuck on someone is normal, but that doesn't make it any less annoying or painful. It's ok to have a crush. Seriously. Emotions are tough to admit sometimes, especially the really personal ones. They're even hard to admit to yourself. But these thoughts need to be shared with other people. It doesn't have to be that particular person. It can be your parent, your best friend, your sibling. It doesn't really matter. And no,@mallycat504 it cannot be your cat. If you can't talk about this to someone you really trust, you might drive yourself crazy. Trust me. This is experience talking here. (my friends probably don't believe me and that's ok)

There's this song (here's my iconic band reference here) by New Politics called Stuck on You off of A Bad Girl in Harlem. Every time  I hear this song there are so many lines I can relate to, it kind of stings a little bit. This song is so great and I think it portrays the emotion of having a crush perfectly. High school can be stressful, especially when everywhere you turn you see someone you know with their girlfriend/boyfriend, and you're just a lonely loner. 

So yeah, I drew that, don't judge too harsh. This is the very first part of the song and it just is relatable. I recommend. 

That's not the point of this chapter though. 

Don't be ashamed of your emotions, you're human, you have them. Be proud of the fact that you are a part of the society that created people such as Patrick Stump and Dallon Weekes. No other species can say that. Feelings might be hard to admit, but they're even harder to accept. Love yourself as much as you love your pet. If you can do that, you can do anything. 

Being stuck on someone may be tough, but hang in there. 

One day there will be someone who is stuck on you just like you are stuck on them. Until then, have fun. Live life. If one person isn't going to notice you, someone else will. Do not be afraid. Face the world, even if you don't want to. 

One day someone that you put a spell on, will have you under theirs. 

(And yes I do believe in love. I'm a dreamer. I have hope for this world.)

I hope all of you that read this feel a little bit better. That this gave you some spark of emotion. Maybe you cringed at me, maybe you laughed, maybe you screamed "I RELATE!" in your head. Maybe you just died a little bit on the inside.
