Chapter 1: Crotus Prenn Asylum.
*Friday 27th - 9:03pm - Crotus Prenn Asylum*
You glanced around the walled area unsurely as you all piled out of the van.
"Dude this tall gate is locked." Jake exclaimed in disbelief, trying to push it open.
"That's weird. The council's given is permission to film here; so it's not trespassing. They haven't opened the gates?" Claudette thought aloud curiously and Dwight shook his head.
"Something's off about this place." He remarked uneasily.
"Well we can't back out now, we said on the episode that we were definitely coming here." Meg stated seriously and you nodded in agreement.
"Meg's right. Why don't we...film the intro and show shots of us climbing over? That way it'll look like we planned it!" You planned excitedly and Claudette dipped her head in agreement.
"Good idea. Alright people, let's make this happen." She organised the set up and counted down.

"Action!" She called before snapping the black and white clapboard.
"I'm Meg Thomas and this is (Y/n) (L/n)!" Meg introduced brightly, putting a hand on her hip.
"And today we're investigating the old Crotus Prenn Asylum! So, Meg, would you mind explaining the lore behind this building?" You asked cheerily, as Jake made the camera catch Dwight climbing over the wall behind you two.
"My pleasure. The legend starts with a girl named Sally Smithson. She dreamt of children's feet and laughter in a wooden home built by her husband Andrew. But her life didn't come with smiles but with wild plans of destruction. Andrew worked as a lumberjack - a job with its perils, and one day he died. So Sally was alone and without food on the table she had to seek employment. She began to work at Crotus Prenn Asylum - the place where people only worked unless they were in dire need. Just. Like. Sally." Meg started mischievously and then Claudette snapped the clapboard again; signalling to stop.
"Let's have the story carry on after climbing the wall. It'll make it more unsettling." She told you guys slyly as Nea giggled.
"You're so evil behind that calm façade Claudette." She said amusedly and Claudette actually seemed quite proud.
"Let's get over that wall. Jake-a hand up please?" You asked politely and he nodded.
Clasping his hands together and kneeling down, he waited for you.
You put your hand on his shoulders and placed your foot on his hands.
Jake pushed you upwards and you grabbed the top of the damp wall roughly.
You climbed up and then helped Nea.
"Thanks. I'll help them out. You go ahead and scout the place out with Dwight." Nea smiled kindly at you.
"Sure." You agreed lightly and hopped over.
But Dwight was nowhere to be seen.
"Dwight? Dwight!" You called his name loudly, wondering where he'd disappeared to.
"Guys did you see where Dwight went?" You questioned worriedly to the others; who were helping Jake over with the expensive camera.
"Isn't he on the other side?" Meg asked as she landed on your side of the wall.
"Clearly not, seeing as she asked." Claudette retorted sarcastically and Meg rolled her eyes.
Jake and Nea landed on the ground too and looked around for Dwight.
"I'm sure he's okay." Nea handed Jake his camera back and Claudette cleared her throat.
"I think so too. So let's film." She snapped the clapboard and the camera started recording again.
"Without any education, she started at the bottom and after twenty years she hadn't gotten any closer to the top. Instead her mind reached it's limit. Two decades of seeing horrible things, memories that are re-played every night, being abused verbally and physically - by people without limits. Finally, Sally couldn't take it anymore and concepts of purification emerged inside her. She did what she felt was necessary and one September, when the morning staff arrived - they found over fifty dead patients, lifeless in their bed." Meg explained darkly, folding her arms.
"Sally was the only one at the scene, rocking back and forth. Exactly what happened is only known by her, but it seems that some of them had been choked as they had marks around their necks." You finished spookily.
"BOO!" Dwight yelled deeply and you yelped in alarm.
"Dwight!" You huffed half-amused and half-annoyed.
"We wondered where you'd run off to." Meg laughed and slapped him on the back.
"Sorry. But the look on our good old (Y/n) was priceless." He chuckled and you shook your head.
"Very scary." You rolled your eyes playfully and focused back on the camera.
"Well with that out of the way, let's start exploring!" Meg exclaimed hyped and set off towards the creepy looking Asylum.
"Any ideas what might be in there?" You asked interestedly as you both walked.
"I don't know (Y/n). Maybe Sally is still there." She suggested wickedly, a joking twinkle in her eyes.
"I guess we'll find out." You responded jovially, and with that you stepped into the dismal building.
The Asylum was in ruins to say the least; large debris from the ceiling had fallen to the ground, piles of metal and desks were stacked in random places and wide gaps were in the walls.
"Man this place could use some renovations." Meg criticised dryly, wrinkling her nose in distaste at the musty smell.
"We're not here to critique the building Meg." You replied laughing.
"I know but still." She defended herself quietly, looking around.
"Hey guys, check this out." Dwight shouted from the other side of the Asylum and you all made your way over.
"Is that...blood...?" You asked gingerly, crouching to touch it.
"Ew gross." Meg said childishly and Dwight leaned against a strange looking generator.
"Guys..." You murmured nervously, rubbing your thumb and forefinger together.
"What?" Dwight asked and you turned to face everyone; including Jake, Claudette and Nea.
"This blood is recent. Someone's been bleeding; quite heavily by the look of it." You explained faintly, wiping the blood off of you by smearing it on your jacket.
"Why would someone be injured? There's nobody here but us." Claudette stated uncomfortably, folding her arms.
"Yeah it doesn't make sense." Nea looked from you to Claudette anxiously.
"Maybe it was a wild animal." Claudette remarked quietly; making frantic waving actions to get us to focus on the camera.
"I think it was Sally." You grinned evilly and clapped your hands together.
"I think so too." A voice chimed in mockingly from behind Jake and you turned around to see-
