Eventually, everyone got on the dragon and sat in a line. Robin sat in front of (Y/n), who sat in front of Law, and behind him was Franky.

Ryuu finally took a step and started climbing the elephant's leg.

"Good! Keep going, Ryuu!" Luffy cheered on.

"How many kilometres to go?! I see no end up there! Are you sure there's a country?!"

"Don't worry. The Vivre card is pointing upwards." Law reassured Usopp's worries.

"Oh, okay. Ryuu! You can do it!"

While Usopp cheered on the pink dragon, (Y/n) was in deep thought, "Maybe... Maybe I should have summoned my shikigamis..." she muttered under her breath.

On with Chapter 54:

3RD PERSON POV

Ryuu (the dragon?) had been climbing up the elephant's leg and the crew were very high up from the ocean.

"It's so high, I'm scared! My arms are exhausted! It's too much!" Usopp whined.

"Don't say that, Usopp. He's giving it all he's got." Luffy scolded him. But literally a second after Luffy said that, Ryuu must have lost his grip and they started slipping down.

Usopp began screaming in fear while gripping onto Zoro's clothes tightly. The sight of the sea was getting closer and closer by the second.

"If we fall into the sea, that'll be it!" Kin'emon said.

"Ryuu, you can do it!"

At the same time, thoughts and ideas were flying though (Y/n)'s head on how to save all of them.

If she used wind, the friction will slow them down but it might hurt them at the same time.

If she used water, it might dissolve Ryuu while also affecting the devil fruit users.

If she used her Shikigami, it's gonna use up a lot of time just to summon them.

Wind seemed to be the most effective option. As she was about to conjure a spell, Ryuu anaged to stop them right before they hit the water.

He paused there for a few seconds to catch his breath.

"Okay! Good job!" Luffy cheered for the dragon.

"You showed some guts!"

"A-Attayboy, Ryuu.. No, your name is Ryunosuke from now on! Our friend, Ryunosuke!" "All right! So just let go of me!"

The Straw Hats cheered for the dragon who was flattered from the attention while gripping for dear life.

"He scared the crap out of me." Law commented.

"I wish he could fly.." Franky said.

(Y/n) then felt a gaze at the back of her head and turned slowly to find the source of it. She saw Franky staring at her intensely and sweatdropped.

"I can't do manipulation magic.." she said but Franky just stared harder.

"I can't carry all of you guys all the way up too!! I don't even know how high the top is!" She cried.

...

"Is this dragon okay?" Kin'emon asked.

"What are you talking about?" Kanjuro asked back, "You just saw how he held on, didn't you?" the samurai was very proud of his creation.

"Alright, you can do it, Ryunosuke! Go!" Luffy cheered.

"Ryuu!" Ryuu, now Ryunosuke, cheered too.

"We're back where we started though." Because Law pointed it out, Ryunosuke made a sad sound, like a whine..

...

"I can't see the top yet. I wonder how Sanji and the others climbed this." The crew has been going up the elephant's leg for a while now but they still can't see anything above them besides clouds.

"Are they really up here?" Zoro questioned, doubting this whole thing.

"Kin'emon, Kanjuro," Luffy turned to look at the two samurai's, "come to think of it, why do you wanna go to Zou?"

"Oh yeah, we owe you people a lot so we must tell you everything eventually. But first, we need to feel safe." Kin'emon answered.

"Mhm. Zou was always our destination since leaving the Land of Wano." Kanjuro added, "We want to see if Momonosuke is okay, and if another friend we were separated from at sea - Raizo, a ninja, has arrived here safely.

At the mention of "Ninja", everyone, but Robin and (Y/n), suddenly paid full attention to Kanjuro.

"A ninja?!"

"Is he a ninja?!"

"What the.." "Huh..?" Robin and (Y/n) were confused.

"A ninja... I wanna meet him!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Will he sit under a waterfall?" Usopp added.

"Can he really use supernatural ninja powers?" Law asked in a calm manner, but his partner can tell he's actually more intrigued than ever.

"Can he disappear in an instant like they say?" Franky asked.

"What are you guys..."

"Yes, indeed!" Kin'emon answered all of them at once.

"Tell us! What kind of powers does he use?!" Luffy's curiosity was increasing.

"Um, for example," Kanjuro was thinking about something, "being able to see far away," he then did a "ninja gesture" with his hand, "Ninpo - telescopic technique!" Kanjuro made a circle with this thumb and index finger and place it on Kin'emon's eyes. Somehow, this amazed the other boys in the group.

"Hey! Stop talking gibberish!" but their amazement ended when Kin'emon scolded his friend.

"Oh, so it wasn't true.." Luffy was disappointed.

Suddenly, a weird sound came from above.

"Luffy! Look up! Something's falling onto us!" Robin warned him and everyone's attention went back to the front. They see something coming closer..from above?

"What is that?!" Luffy exclaimed as the "something" continued making the "Etetete" sound. "Ete?"

Meanwhile, Kanjuro most likely didn't see it coming, considering he was at the back and continued talking about the "Ninja techniques", "That's right! Raizo runs with that kind of rhythhm. I think he has this kind on power - Ninpo - Blindfold technique!"

He placed his hands on Kin'emon's eyes again, but this time covering it completely, "Guess who!"

"I-Is it Kanjuro? I mean I know you're the only person there."

"Look out! Duck!"

Everyone managed to move to dodge the falling figure except for the last 2 people. Because Kin'emon's eyes were covered, and Kanjuro was folling around, they were not able to dodge in time and got taken out by it at an alarming speed.

By the time (Y/n) turned around to look at them, they were out of her range. Even using water magic would be difficult since they were very high up from the water.

"Oh no! Those two fell!"

"Damn! What was that thing that fell on us out of the blue?!"

"I don't know. I think it was a bloody person with knives stuck all over his body." Robin casually said it, shocking Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp.

"No, it was definitely a small monkey.." (Y/n) said, deadpanning at her best friend's thoughts.

"Hey! Are you alright?" "Kin'emon! Kanjuro!" Luffy and Usopp called out for the two but didn't receive a repsonse back.

"Did they fall into the water?" Franky said.

"Let's go save them!" Luffy suggested but before they could make another move, they got a response from Kin'emon, "Luffy-dono! We're both okay! Go ahead! We'll catch up soon!"

Despite being relieved from the response, Luffy questioned "What is he talking about? No way! Let's go back down!"

"Hey, Ryuu! Head back down!" Zoro said but Ryunosuke continued going up.

"Ryunosuke, head back." the dragon still wasn't listening.

Luffy tried to convince the dragon too, but he cut himself off.

The more they look at the dragon slowly moving up, the more pitiful they felt for him...

'How can we tell this poor guy to go back..' they thought.

...

After a lot more climbing by Ryunosuke and a close call of almost losing another member, the crew managed to reach the top of Zou by sunset.

"Ryunosuke! Ryunosuke!" they cheered until they finally saw a stone archway in the distance.

"We made it!" "To the top!" they got down from Ryuu and celebrated around the big space.

"Ryunosuke! Good job!"

"We're here at Zou!"

While the boys were celebrating the dragon's achievement, (Y/n) and Robin headed to the dragon himself to thank him for finishing his job.

"Ryunosuke..I'm..proud of you." Robin complimented the dragon who was panting but looked just as happy as well.

"Robin..are you crying?" (Y/n) asked before gasping. "Ryuu! You're turning back into a drawing!"

This got the attention of the boys who stopped cheering and immediately ran towards the slowly fading dragon.

"Wait a minute! We haven't really thanked you yet!"

They began crying too.

But thankfully, Ryunosuke faded away with a huge pleased smile on his face.

"Ryunosuke! Thank you!" they cried into the sunset while hearing one last "Ryuu!"

"It's just a bad drawing"

Meanwhile Law and Zoro weren't amused by the emotional scene...
