Izumi: finally going to the next arc wahoo

Recap:

"Luffy-senpai! Watch out for Fujitora right there!" Bartholomeo shouted, "Luffy-senpai! Hurry up! Dodge him somehow!"

Unsure if Luffy heard the fanboy correctly, because he immediately called the Admiral, "Hey, you old gambler man! Do you remember me?!" the latter turned towards the voice, "I'm gonna punch you!"

Luffy's arm inflated as he jumped high into the sky, "Gomu gomu no.. Elephant Gun!" he said loudly and did not hesitate to punch Fujitora.

"L-L-L-L-L-L-Luffy-senpai! He's one of the Navy HQ's greatest military powers - a Navy Admiral!"

On with Chapter 50:

3RD PERSON POV

Of course, Luffy still continued to attack Fujitora despite knowing he is a Navy Admiral.

"Take him down someday" isn't good enough anymore! Even if he's a Navy Admiral. Why should I run?! I would've done that until two years ago but not anymore! Even a Navy Admiral or an Emperor, I gotta beat them all! Otherwise.. I can't become the King of the pirates!" he said.

Seems like his crewmates seemed to be amused by their captain instead since they reacted positively to his response.

"Okay, Luffy! Since it has come to this, just fight it out!" Usopp said while the smoke caused by Luffy's attack dissipated and revealed the said Admiral to be unharmed and unfazed.

Bartholomeo though, was shocked at their reactions, "What?! Usopp-senpai, even you?! Are you sure?! He's a Navy Admiral!" he exclaimed.

For once, (Y/n) agreed with the lettuce head, 'Strawhats are crazy..' she thought.

Luffy got into a stance again and started screaming, "I'll go all out, Old man! I'm gonna punch you! Gomu gomu no.. Hawk Bullet!"

Of course, Fujitora deflected it with ease.

"Ugh! Why does he have to have a serious fight at times like this?!" Bartholomeo groaned.

"Are you crazy, Mugiwara!"

"Should we go help?!"

The fighters were conflicted on what they should be doing besides standing there and watch.

"I'm gonna tread on you! Gomu gomu no..Hawk Axe!"

"I'm totally on board with what Luffy said, but why is he fighting in such a strange way?" Zoro thought out loud and (Y/n) gave her own comment, "I agree, he seems to be louder than usual." she pointed out.

"I'm gonna punch you so many times!" Luffy continues attacking Fujitora in his more odd than usual way.

Punch, kick, kick and punch, Fujitora even used his devil fruit powers on Luffy and pushed him into a crater, but the latter managed to break out of it by breaking the ground with a headbutt and catching the admiral off guard.

At one point, Luffy accidentally used the wrong move than intended and apologized for his mistake, "Oh, my mistake! Sorry, old man!" he said and (Y/n) caught on this, " "Sorry"? " she repeated, 'Why would he apologize?'

Luffy's attacks didn't falter as he continued attacking. Even when he got launched upwards and pulled down into another crater, he still didn't give up.

"Mugiwara!"

"I told you! Luffy-senpai, run!"

But the strawhat captain did not pay them any heed, "I'm not gonna...run anymore!" he told them before launching himself towards Fujitora once again.

It was only now that Fujitora pointed out the elephant in the room.

"What exactly have you been doing all this?!" he shouted, "Announcing "Kick you" or "Punch you"... Are you taking pity on me?!"

Luffy didn't answer.

"I'm a Navy HQ Admiral! Everyone says I'm like a monster! I don't want anybody to go easy on me after all these years! Does it bother you that a blind man is on the battlefield?! If you wanted to make me mad, you succeeded! I'll chop off your head before you know it!" "Shut up!" Luffy was not having it.

"I just can't attack a blind man like you without saying a word! Because I kind of like you!"

Fujitora went silent for a few seconds before laughing. Everyone, including Luffy, were taken by surprise.

"What's so funny?! You jerk! I'm gonna kick you!" Luffy said.

"That sympathy of yours! What is it good for?!" Fujitora said but Luffy ignored him and carried on with his attacks.

"When men fight... they should fight in a way that fits their position." Fujitora said, "You can't...show pity or say what you like so honestly!"

"I don't care at all!" Luffy responded.

"You're such a fool! I'm fighting as befits my position even though I don't want to!" Fujitora pushed Luffy away and activated his devil fruit.

"Oh no! Get away!" Zoro warned the group that everyone finally moved from their spots. If they stood there for another fraction of a second, they would have been sliced into pieces along with the hill that was behind them.

At the same time, Fujitora launched Luffy high into the sky and Hajrudin caught him.

"Take him to the ship!" Cavendish instructed the giant and Zoro took Luffy's spot in front of Fujitora, "Alright, Luffy! It's my turn!"

But before he could do anything, he was stopped by the fanboy.

"No no! Please stop, Zoro senpai! We have our own arrangement!" Bartholomeo panicked.

"Arrangement?"

...

The group was running and they finally reached the port with multiple ships of all sizes parked by it.

And the further they ran, the darker the sky got. (Y/n) looked up and saw that the sky was filled with debris and rubble Fujitora had used this devil fruit on to form a ball above them.

"That admiral is serious." Bartholomeo commented,

"This is insane.." (Y/n) gave her own comment as well.

The ball of debris then spread out across the sky above them, giving the group very little chance in avoiding the damage,

"Where should we run?! I don't wanna get defeated by garbage!" Usopp cried, referring to the debris.

Suddenly, the debris started falling but stopped almost immediately..

"What's going on..?"

The group didn't ask any further though as they focused more on escaping rather than questioning.

It wasn't until they got out of range and near the ship that they realized the citizens of Dressrosa waving at them, more specifically at Luffy who had been released from Hajrudin's grasp, from the edges of the island.

"It's huge!" the captain pointed out the moment he found out which ship they were boarding.

The ship was huge alright, with three masts and a gold coloured figurehead at the front, even Hajrudin the giant looked small beside it.

"Isn't the ship great?!" Bartholomeo boasted, although it wasn't even his ship, "Okay! Hurry up and get on board! This is a state of emergency! I'll show you my ship later! You'll be surprised!"

All of them took this time to explore the ship and learn more about it. Orlumbus, the actual captain of the ship, was explaining more about Yonta Maria to Law, (Y/n) and Robin, on the deck.

"Our Yonta Maria fleet numbers 56 ships! I know we can really help you out!" Orlumbus said proudly.

"That's amazing!"

" "Help us?" "

Soon enough, the colosseum fighters and straw hats joined them at the deck, the former standing in a line in front of the pirates.

"Luffyland! We got permission from Chief Tonta! Let us join, too!" Leo said.

"Join?" Luffy did not understand what Leo was talking about, and neither did the rest of the group.

"We won't lose in a fair fight but we can't say we're champions without fighting pirates!" Ideo said.

"So Ideo and I joined hands and decided to get out to sea!" Blue Gilly added.

"Hey, we're with you, too! Don't forget about us, bro!" Abdullah and Jeet added.

"This fool's gonna let me be on board his ship." Suleiman pointed towards Cavendish who got offended at his words, "I'm doing you a favour so you'd better call me "Captain"! And you, too! Don't forget that I'm more experienced than you! Even if I go along with you, I'll be the most popular one!"

Luffy finally asked, "What are you guys talking about? Do whatever you want!"

"Well, the fact is we totally hit it off while we were staying at the palace for two days!"

"I'll explain!" Orlumbus stepped in, "For your information, we decided the order by lot.

"First, the Beautiful pirates, 75 members. The representative is its captain, White Horse Cavendish!"

Cavendish decided to wink, and it may or may not have been directed to (Y/n) who reacted negatively.

"Next, the Bartho Club, 56 members! The captain is Man-eating Bartholomeo!"

"The Happosui Army, about 1000 members! The 13th leader is... Don Sai!" "Honey! You look great!" Baby5 could be heard in the background cheering for her partner(?).

"The XXX Gyn fighting alliance, four members! The representative is Destruction Cannon Ideo!"

"The Tontatta's Tonta Corps, 200 members! The leader is Leo the Warrior!"

"Just give members now! The future Giant Pirates! The captain is Hajrudin!"

"And I'm...The Commodore of the Yonta Maria fleet, 4300 members! The adventuring Pioneer Orlumbus!"

After introducing everyone, Bartholomeo was the first one to step out of line and drop onto his knees.

"H-Hey..." Luffy was about to say but got interrupted by Bartholomeo, "A big troop of 5600 people in total! Luffy-senpai! Will you exchange cups of sake as father and sons...with us seven representatives?!

"Father and sons?"

"That's right! You'll be the boss and we'll be your followers! Will you take us under the umbrella of the Straw Hat Pirates?!"
