Izumi: WHEN DOES IT END. WHEN CAN I FINALLY FINISH DRESSROSA ARC? *rattles my cage*

Recap:

"That jerk! He's still going for Tra-o!" Luffy pointed out, still falling from the sky.

"He's a finisher! Bullet string!"

"Gomu Gomu no...Hawk Whip!"

The bullet strings travelled fast towards Robin. Luffy shouted out her name along with Law's in worry and Robin used her body to shield him

"FIRE!"

On with Chapter 43:

3RD PERSON POV

Using the fire she had collected from the explosion, (Y/n) burnt the bullet strings and protected Robin from harm. She would have attacked Doflamingo immediately after but Luffy got to him first, "(Y/n)! Take everyone and get off of this plateau!"

"What?!" (Y/n) shouted back.

Cavendish arrived just in time to witness what was happening, "No way!" he joined in on the "conversation", "Since I stand before Doflamingo here, I wanna land at least one blow, too!"

Luffy ignored both of them though, "I leave everybody in your hands!" he might have meant only (Y/n), or maybe the both of them, but Cavendish immediately went into "Knight Mode".

"Leave them in my hands?!" Cavendsih couldn't believe what he was hearing, although it was still most likely not directed to him, "Trust...Respect...Popularity!" he was sparkling at this point and (Y/n) was speechless.

"Mugiwara is my fan." he's not.

"My fan is asking me a favour!" he isn't..

"I can't turn it down!"...

He then turned to Robin, "I know Bartholomeo is on the lower level! Let's go down there now using his ability!" he didn't even wait for an answer before running somewhere.

(Y/n), after having calmed down but still having the fire she collected around her, she approached Law who was being looked at by Rebecca and Kyros.

Probably one of the most magic consuming spells she had, (Y/n) was about to convert her fire magic into light magic for healing when Princess Mansherry and Leo came over.

Law grunted and (Y/n) got more worried. Should she just heal him? At this point, she was probably running on fumes after fighting against Trebol and Doflamingo, but anything to save her captain, right?

"Can you treat him somehow, Leo?!" Kyros asked.

"The cut is ragged. If I can manage to sew them together..."

"Then, I can heal him with my Watering Can!" Princess Mansherry added on and it gave (Y/n) an idea.

"Thank you, Princess Mansherry! In any case, we'd better go down now as Lucy said!" Rebecca said before standing up.

"Princess Mansherry?" (Y/n) squatted near the tontatta princess, "You...You can heal?" she asked.

"Yes!"

(Y/n) explained that she too could heal and would like to help. Mansherry couldn't refuse the help despite being worried for the Witch at the same time.

As they were healing Law, the castle near them decided to crumble. Must be Luffy and Doflamingo's doing.

Cavendish came back from wherever he went and carried Law from the three, "We gotta go!"

Rebecca and Kyros, who were standing by the side, waited for them as Robin pulled (Y/N) up and supported her whilst following Cavendish..

Robin had noticed how her friend was getting tired and immediately ran towards her when it was time to run. They managed to catch up with Cavendish and Law while Rebecca and Kyros were protecting them from behind.

Robin had to pause though when she saw Luffy almost falling off the side of the castle, but pushed herself to continue running.

Law woke up and grasped Cavendish's cape with his only good arm, "Wait!" he tried to shout and the blond stopped, followed by Robin and (Y/n) behind him, and Rebecca and Kyros further behind.

"Law! You woke up!" (Y/n) was the first to acknowledge despite her half-awake mind.

Law continued struggling to talk, "Leave me...here!"

"What?! Are you crazy?!" (Y/n) couldn't believe what she was hearing. It's not the first time Law has done this, but that doesn't mean she was ever fine with it!

The Death Surgeon paused to catch his breath, "For the past 13 years... I've been living just to kill Doflamingo!" he tried to grasp the cape tigheter, "I've done... everything I can! I have to leave the rest to Mugiwara-ya!"

"If he's gonna win, I wanna see it through my own eyes! If he loses, I need to be here and...die along with him!" he was panting hard after saying it and (Y/n) felt a lump in her throat.

Robin looked at her friend for her reaction, but (Y/n) couldn't say anything about it. It was never her strongest suit to talk whenever something upsetting was happening.

"I...got him involved in this conflict. I gotta see it through with my own eyes here! Leave me!"

"Trafalgar..."

"Tra-o-kun..."

"..."

Robin decided to speak up for her friend, "Captains of allied pirate groups have to be on an equal footing. Luffy is here..of his own free will. He doesn't fight if he has no will to."

Law struggled to even sit up, "Leave me here!" he still insisted, "I'm begging you!"

Cavendish looked at (Y/n) for a second opinion but she looked just as, or more, worried as he was. She just sighed and the former did too.

"I don't think I can talk to you out of it..." he bent down to place Law on the ground.

"Nico Robin, (Y/n), you guys go ahead."

..."Huh?" "Cabbage-kun?"

The two didn't have time to think though when Bartholomeo suddenly joined the conversation (from the bottom of the cliff), "Robin-senpai! I will help you now! Barrier-bility: Stairs!"

Stairs started to form from Bartholomeo's barrier and it led from the bottom of the cliff, where he was standing, to the top of it, where the group of 6 were standing.

Cavendish proceeded to sit down beside Law, "I can't listen to a suicidal wish. I'll stay here, too. You need to come to terms with it." Robin, (Y/n) and Law were confused, "If you're gonna die, it's got to be after me."

Neither of them could argue with him though because Bartholomeo unintentionally butted in again, "Robin-senpa! Come down now!" this time he shouted louder.

"Robin-san! Batholomeo made us stairs!" Rebecca seemed to have not heard their conversation as she didn't allow them to decide any longer.

"Go." Cavendish persisted, "You can wear this." he handed his cape to Robin, who had an injury on her back. He helped to drape it over her shoulders while she still supported (Y/n)'s figure. "You have to go, Nico Robin, (Y/n). Let me look after him."

Of course (Y/n) was still hesitant. She looked at Law's reaction and he himself gestured her to go without him. She sighed.

Robin looked at her too and (Y/n) nodded, "Okay. But first." Using some of her remaining magic and energy, a paper doll emerged from a pocket of her dress and jumped towards the Death Surgeon. The people who recognized it widened their eyes, the person who has never seen it before was confused by it.

"Thank you, Cavendish."

Robin then brought herself and (Y/n) to the stairs and saw Rebecca and Kyros already descending it.

"Robinland! (Y/n)land!" Leo who has been quiet this entire time spoke up, "We'll stay here, too! We can't leave the wounded Lawland here like that!" Princess Mansherry nodded in agreement.

(Y/n) gave a small smile, 'Maybe he would be fine here with all these people helping...' she thought before going down the steps with Robin's help.
