Recap:

On the way there, she could hear Luffy shouting at and with Kid about handling the marines with Law's occasional remarks.

"...Sigh..." she sighed at the captains' actions. She was about to follow behind him for possible backup when she was called by her name, "(L/n) (Y/n), right?" She turned around to see a tall slender woman with shoulder-length black hair and familiar wide blue eyes.

"Yeah, what of it?" (Y/n) asked.

"Do you remember me?" the woman was smirking.

"Of course I do." (Y/n) smirked as well, "How can I forget about you, Nico Robin?"

On with Chapter 4:

3RD PERSON POV

"Ray-san, do you know about the Will of D?" (Y/n) decided to ask Raleigh, who had insisted her to call him Ray-san instead, since they were waiting for time to pass.

"Yeah, I know about it." Rayleigh replied casually.

"Do you... also know about what happened in the void century 900 years ago?" Rayleigh kept silent for a few seconds before answering. "Yeah." he paused, "We learned the entire history of the world. But, (Y/n)-chan, you mustn't rush." he insisted on calling the (h/c-ette) by a cute nickname. "You should move at your own pace with your crew. We and Ohara might have hurried too much." (Y/n)'s breath hitched at the mention of her home island, "Even if I told you everything about history right here, you still wouldn't be able to do anything about it now. Once you've taken the time to see the world, it's possible you'll be led to a different answer than we were. But, if you still insist on hearing it, I can tell you everything about this world right now, or whenever we get out of this cell."

She spent the next moment thinking if she should hear the actual history of the world right then, or spend the next however many years with her crew finding out.

"I'll take your word for it, Ray-san. I'll just see it for myself then."

Rayleigh smiled at her decision.

"I'm sorry for what happened to your home, Ohara."

Back at the current situation, the Straw Hats were surprised that Robin and the newcomer knew each other.

"Robin-chan, you know her?" Sanji decided to be the one to ask her about the (h/c)-haired woman.

"Yeah, she's a friend who used to live near my village in Ohara. We spent a lot of time together." Robin answered and (Y/n) came closer. "You could call us childhood friends." (Y/n) added before hugging the older woman, "I miss you, Robin."

"Ohara?!" the Straw Hats exclaimed and the two women pulled away from the hug. "Yeah. Surprising, right?" the Witch joked as she gave them a smile. "Thanks for taking care of Robin. I didn't know what happened after I went to the North Blue." for some reason, Sanji flinched at the mention of the ocean, but no one seemed to notice.

"(Y/n)!" Shachi called for her from the top of the stairs, "Let's go!"

(Y/n) turned back to the Straw Hats, "Well, I'll see you next time. Hopefully we won't be fighting each other." with that, she turned away from them and joined her crew. Although it was almost the entire crew versus one woman, her last statement sent shivers down their spines.

They weren't able to ask Robin any questions about her friend though when the guns and swords that were dropped by the guards were floating. They were stuck in mid-air for a second before launching towards the entrance and out of the auction house.

"What's going on?!"

"What is this?!"

While her attention was somewhere, (Y/n) didn't notice that one of the swords was heading right towards her direction. Fortunately, Penguin managed to deflect the sword away and protected his crewmate. The latter only noticed the danger she was in when she heard the swords clanging against each other. "Oh, thanks, Penguin."

It didn't take them long to hear the screams of the marines outside and that prompted the three crews to exit the auction house. On the way out, (Y/n) asked the Massacre Soldier, Killer from the Kid Pirates, about the earlier phenomenon. "Was that your captain's devil fruit just now?"

Killer was silent for a moment, not sure of her intentions, but just answered her with a simple "Yeah..."

When more screams were heard, the Straw Hats rushed outside, worried about their captain's wellbeing, the Kid Pirates and the Heart Pirates followed along with their group of friends.

"Oi, oi! This, already?!" "Amazing! I don't believe my eyes!" Zoro and Brook exclaimed as they were walking down the stairs.

"You sure know how to go berserk, Captain..." "Well, he did find his people." Shachi and (Y/n) commented.

Rayleigh, who was carrying Hachi on his back, let out a laugh. "They're quite reliable, indeed!"

"What an impatient bunch." Killer joined in.

Their captains were standing at the front of the auction house as if they hadn't moved from their positions at all. But seeing the damage they had caused, they definitely at least took a step forward.

About half of the marines were down and the other half standing still wielded their weapons in hand. Mortars were even placed and aimed at their position, prepared to be fired at their General's command. After all, they were facing six of the Worst Generation and their crews.

"Take those pirates down!"

The marines then charged at them from the front. However, the three of them were distracted when Luffy told them something. Killer jumped away from the group to attack a marine that was swinging his large axe onto Kid. He took out his blades from his gauntlets and parried with the marine before pushing him back and then slicing him, rendering him unconscious.

"Hey, Kid! What're you just standing there for?!" he scolded.

"You know, Killer..." the red-haired captain brushed off the scolding, "on our journey up to this point, we've been laughed at and ridiculed whenever we mentioned getting our hands on the One Piece. An each time that happened, I slaughtered everyone who laughed. But what lies ahead is a sea of death for those who don't got the guts to mention it." he paused, "Let's meet again in the New World."

"Let's go, men!" his crew was now behind him and joined in the fight against the marines.

"Trafalgar Law!" another marine who thought he caught the pirate off guard went and attacked "How dare you toy with my comrades earlier!" he shouted.

Law however was not fazed and smirked. "Bepo."

"Aye aye!" Bepo jumped from the group and towards his captain who was close to being in danger. He kicked the marine who was targeting Law in the face.

"Huh? You're going back inside, Captain?" Bepo asked when Law started walking away. He wasn't going back inside the auction house though, he was going towards the slave that had been left outside by one of the Celestial Dragons earlier.

On the way there, more marines decided to charge for the Death Surgeon.

"Wind: Wing Attack!"

"Be careful, Captain." (Y/n) mocked as she came by flying on her staff.

Law smirked and rolled his eyes at her actions before looking back at the slave.

The Witch's attention got pulled away though when Nami used a thundercloud attack to attack the marines. 'Woah! Another person who can use elemental magic?!' she exclaimed in her head.

Her attention was pulled back when the sound of heavy metal hitting the ground was heard. The neck ring was left on the ground and the slave stood up while rubbing his neck.

"Why?" he groaned but the captain kept silent.

"He just freed Saint Rosward's slave!" "How did he uncuff him?!" The marines exclaimed in shock.

As the marines began charging at him again, he asked, "Will you come along with me, Pirate Captain Jean Bart?"

The slave, now known as Jean Bart, widened his eyes. Instead of answering immediately, he swung his arm back to push a group of marines away. (Y/n) did the same thing on the opposite side of him.

"It's been a long time since I've been called that name." he said before pushing another marine away. "If it means I can be free from the Celestial Dragons, I'll gladly serve under you!"

Grinning, the captain added, "Give half your thanks to Straw Hat-ya." before turning around and facing against the marines.

After attacking wave after wave of marines, the Heart Pirates plus their newest recruit managed to run away from the now destroyed auction house.

They were crossing the bridge when a group of marines caught up with them, making them slow down to push the enemies back.

"Ai-ya!" Bepo kicked a marine away.

"What an agile bear! He's too much to handle!"

"How is it even talking?!"

"I'm sorry..." and it didn't take much for him to immediately sulk.

"Hurry, Bepo!" Bepo broke out of the sulk and jumped out of the way when Jean Bart punched the bridge, causing it to break and crumble as if it was made out of a brittle material.

"Crap! They destroyed the bridge!" The marines were now stuck on the other side of the broken bridge.

"You're a new guy, which means you rank under me." Bepo brought up to Jean Bart as they were running alongside his crewmates. "As long as I'm not a slave, anything's fine by me!"

"Pleasure for you to join us, Jean Bart!" (Y/n) came up on her staff beside them. She was using her staff to fly away instead of running because it was less tiring for her.

Shachi, who was running at the front of the group, suddenly stopped in his tracks and pointed. "Captain! Look!" Everyone else behind him stopped and looked at where he was pointing.

"Eustass-ya and..." Law cut himself off as he was shocked, "thats..!" At the same time, (Y/n) got off of her staff and wielded it to prepare for battle."

The Kid Pirates were fighting against... Bartholomew Kuma?!

"What is a Shichibukai (Seven Warlords of the Sea) doing here?" Law questioned and it didn't help everyone's nervousness about facing the warlord.

Kuma turned his attention from the red haired captain, "Trafalgar Law..." he said once his gaze landed upon the surgeon, who unsheathed his sword and got into a stance, "You know my name?". The other members of his crew prepared themselves as well behind him.

Instead of a vocal answer, Kuma opened his mouth and an orb of light was gathering in it. It got brighter, and brighter, before a laser of the same light was shot out. Because Law was a distance away from his crew, only he got hit by the laser and the area around him disintegrated.

"Captain!" Bepo exclaimed in worry, "Don't worry, He's fine!" (Y/n) reassured him when she saw that his soul was still present, but it was still concerning to know that a Warlord was attacking them. A thought had come to her at the same time when she looked at Kuma.

'Why doesn't he have a soul?'

"We're right next to the Navy Headquarters and Marie Jois! Just about anyone can show up here!" Jean Bart pointed out.

"Marines are coming up the rear!" Shachi shouted when he saw a group of marines, same or different as the previous one, arrived behind them.

"This guy acts at random!" Kid warned others in the vicinity before turning to the other captain. "Trafalgar! Stay out of the way!"

Law, who wasn't affected by the blast, exited the smoke and walked towards Kid. "Do you want to be destroyed?" he asked rhetorically, "I told you not to tell me what to do. We're running into unexpected big shots today. I'd rather not add an admiral to that list." he turned towards Kuma with "Room" prepared on hand, "So you will let us pass... Bartholomew Kuma!"

The Kid Pirates were the first ones to attack Kuma, as Killer charged at the Warlord and sliced him, but the latter wasn't affected by the blades at all. Heat then used his fire to envelop the Warlord in his flames.

"How do you like that?! You're charred black!"

However, Kuma still wasn't a bit affected as he was still standing, unfazed.

Shachi, Bepo, and Penguin jumped from their spots and landed in front of them. "Get back, Kid Pirates." Bepo said before the three of them did martial arts against Kuma. But once again, still no effect.

(Y/n) was observing from the her spot, she was thinking on what she could do to do some damage.

Blades don't work.

Not even fire affects him.

Punches and kicks definitely did nothing.

What can work?

Meanwhile, Kuma stayed unfazed as he was dodging. Bepo landed a kick onto his leg, but instead the bear was the one shouting pain. "Oww! So hard!"

Since he was vulnerable now, the Warlord turned his aim towards him.

Law activated Room and swapped Bepo with Jean Bart who stopped Kuma's swinging fists. "Got you now!"

"How about this, then?!" At the same time, Kid had gathered the surrounding metal to form 2 giant metal arms and dropped it onto the Warlord. Jean Bart saw it coming and dodged it the last second before he himself would be crushed under it as well.

Kuma was now laying in a crater on the ground.

"Troublesome bastard..." Kid muttered before turning and walking away. He didn't notice the figure getting up and standing though.

"It's not over yet, Eustass-ya." Kid stopped and turned around, and indeed did he see Kuma standing straight.

"Hmph, looks like you still haven't had enough of me!" the red haired captain gathered the metal once again for the same attack.

Kuma took off his glova and pointed his palm towards him. The same orb of light was seen in between them, but this time it was closer and right in front if Kid's face.

Before it could hit his face though, a stone wall emerged from the ground and took the impact for him.

"Earth: Rock Wall!"

<ANIME: FAIRY TAIL>

A huge explosion that shook the entire grove occurred and a bright light and smoke covered everyone present. If that were to hit Kid's face point blank, who knows what would happen to him?

"Wind: Wind Palm!"

<ANIME: FAIRY TAIL>

(Y/n) then pushed the Warlord away as best as she could to bring some distance between them.

...

The fight continued on with the two crews still not being able to bring Kuma down. Everyone was covered dirt, bruises, and or scratches while the Warlord barely had any scratches on his clothing.

"You're in the way, Trafalgar! I'm taking this guy down!" "You're the one in the way, Eustass-ya!"

While the two captains were arguing amongst each other, Kuma shot another beam at the both of them, but they managed to dodge it in time.

Law landed behind him and summoned Room. He was about to unsheathe his sword from the scabbard when Kuma suddenly pointed his palm behind and shot another beam.

"You're a Shichibukai, yet all you can do is shoot beams?!" Law said in annoyance, and he was about to get more annoyed when he noticed that the marines had finally caught up to them.

"There they are! Trafalgar Law, Captain of the Heart Pirates, and Eustass Kid, Captain of the Kid Pirates!"

"Don't let them escape!"

"Damn! Now there's a whole load of marines! This is no time for us to get stuck here!" Penguin shouted.

"Bepo! We're busting straight through! Let's do it!" "Hold on, Jean Bart! You're the new guy! Don't give me orders!"

Slightly irritated due to the situation, (Y/n) turned towards the bickering polar bear and scolded him, "Bepo! Now's not the time!" to which he immediately responded with "Yes, Ma'am!" before charging at Kuma with Jean Bart.

They would have landed a hit on him if he didn't shoot another beam close to them.

Killer took this opportunity to attack as he sliced Kuma's leg. "Take this!"

When he sliced it, it was strong enough to cause some damage as nuts and bolts came out and the Warlord started to spark.

'Nuts and bolts? Sparks?'

"That bastard took all the fun!" Bepo cried.

The marines who were charging towards them had their weapons stolen by Kid, who was using his powers to, as usual, make a metal arm.

Kuma once again shot a beam and Kid blocked it. "Repel!" he turned one of the arms into a ball of metal just as the beam was shot to deflect it.

Law landed right beside (Y/n) since he had a doubt. "(Y/n)," he called and the (h/c-ette) turned towards him. "That's Bartholomew Kuma, one of the Shichibukai?"

(Y/n) turned her attention back to the fights happening between them.

"Honestly, I don't think so..."

...

"Here it comes!"

Kuma was still attacking the two crews and it seemed like only he wasn't getting tired. Everyone was getting tired and were covered in bruises, while the Warlord still had his emotionless expression and barely and cuts.

The pirates kept on dodging the beams left and right and let it hit the marines in the back instead.

Killer managed to land another slice and Bepo tried to land a kick, but got punched away instead.

"Hey, you damn Shichibukai! This time, I will kick the crap outta you!"

Kuma shifted his attention towards Kid and opened his mouth to charge a beam. Kid used his metal hand to block the shot, causing the beam to explode right in the other's face.

"Repel!" Kid repelled the same metal hand to launch Kuma ibto the sky and dropped him hard, creating a crater underneath him.

Kid walked up to the fallen Warlord and laughed, "No one's ever been hit by that and gotten up afterwards!" he continued laughing, "We just took down one of the Shichibukai!"

As the Kid pirates cheered for their victory, Law asked himself, "This is the extent of Baethokinew Kuma's strength?"

Meanwhile, (Y/n) cried when she saw Kuma still moving, "No..No! This isn't even Bartholomew Kuma himself!"

The Kid pirates turned their attention back to "Kuma" who was slowly getting up from the crater.

"Earth: Rock Avalanche!"

<ANIME: FAIRY TAIL>

(Y/n) had used an earth skill and gathered nearby debris to push Kuma back to the ground and prevented him from getting up.

"What? This thing's a machine?! A cyborg?!" Kid exclaimed when he finally noticed with his own eyes the inhuman sparking happening across Kuma's body. The latter was still trying to stand up as it pushed the debris.

Law suddenly jumps towards them whilst activating Room. He switched his position to be right in front of Kuma before stabbing through one of the exposed parts with his long sword, finally causing the Warlord to go limp.

The fight between them was finally over...

Sensing that Kuma was finally down, she took this opportunity to get a closer look at the person they fought. "Person" may not have been the right word at that moment when she saw the gears in him, plus how the nuts and bolts and sparks she caught a glance of finally made sense now.

Law walked up to Kid, who was still standing nearby. "Why the hell did you do that?!" the red haired captain questioned loudly.

"You place too much confidence in your techniques, Eustass-ya." "What?!" he was clearly not pleased with the statement. "Do you honestly think this is a Shichibukai?" Law rhetorically asked. "What do you mean?"

While the two captains were bickering, a new group of marines arrived at the scene. "Charge!"

(Y/n) moved away from Kuma and faced the marines. Swinging her staff, she manipulated the wind around them to cause a tornado to form in the middle of the group, sweeping up whoever was in-range.

"Wind: Wave Wind!"

<ANIME: FAIRY TAIL>

"Hey, Trafalgar." Kid called Law calmly, not angered anymore, "About what you said earlier... If he ain't a Shichibukai, then what is he?" Before Law could answer, something heavy dropped from the sky and landed in front of them as dust gathered and hid their figure.

"Now what?!"

The cloud of dust dispersed to reveal...

"Kuma?!"
