Recap:

A silhouette suddenly appeared in the middle of the dust.

"What the hell is that?!" Luffy was the first to express his shock.

"That is..." (Y/n) gasped when the silhouette slowly formed into a figure she was greatly familiar with.

"Pica.."

On with Chapter 30:

3RD PERSON POV

People were running past the group in fear of the rock man also known as one of the elite officers of the Donquixote pirates.

"Now, those of you who rebel against our family..." Pica said and (Y/n) heard Luffy and Zoro laugh at his voice. She whipped her head towards them.

"I'll fight you!" Luffy laughed harder, "His voice! It's so high!" he definitely did not sense the danger he was in. Even the Donquixote soldiers tried to shush the rubber man, "But it totally doesn't fit!" he paused mid-sentence to laugh more, "What a funny voice!"

"Hey, hey, stop laughing, Mugiwara! Pica-sama is sensitive about his high-pitched voice!"

"If he runs wild with that massive body..."

The soldiers still tried to stop him, and it somewhat worked when one of them screamed in fear.

"You idiot! You made Pica-sama mad!"

"How can you guys not laugh at it?" "We can't! Because we don't wanna die yet!"

When a rumbling was heard behind them, everyone fell silent and they started to panic. A stone hand started to come out form the ground and the soldiers screamed again.

Pica brought his stone hand up into a fist and readied a punch.

"Run!"

Luffy grabbed Law under his arm before running. Zoro and (Y/n) followed suit by his side.

"Luffy! You have to stop messing with your enemies.." Zoro scolded until he heard Pica talk again, "I won't let you get away!" He tried to hold his laughter but failed. "See! You can't help laughing either!"

"You guys..." Law said disappointedly while still hanging off of Luffy's arm.

Luffy turned to (Y/n), "How did you not laugh, (Y/n)?" and was met with a deadpan, "I was tortured by this man..." (Y/n) muttered, "I learned it the hard way.."

She wasn't able to elaborate further though when Pica started to bring his stone fist down.

"Run! It's gonna crush you up!" Luffy began to panic and ran even faster. "I am running!" he shouted when he suddenly stopped running. "Luffy!" both Zoro and (Y/n) shouted when they saw Law's chain getting caught by something.

The fist got closer. (Y/n) tried to use her magic to push back the fist, but she didn't have enough time before the fist struck the ground and blew everything in the vicinity away.

...

Waking up after her short slumber, (Y/n) found herself in some part of Dressrosa on some rubble. She pushed the debris that landed on her, that thankfully were not that heavy. Using her soul magic, she sensed where the nearest soul was before heading towards it and hoping it was one of her friends.

"Luffy! Law! (Y/n)! Where are you!" she heard and ran towards the voice.

"Zoro!" the green-haired swordsman whipped his head to the side, "(Y/n)!" he went towards her, "Have you seen the others?" but she shook her head no. Again using her soul magic, she led the way to where she thought their captains were.

"Hey! We're up here! Up here!" it was definitely not that hard to find the two captains when one of them is shouting that loudly. Luffy was hung by the back of his shirt on a tip of a broken building while holding Law with his legs.

"Luffy!" Zoro stopped in front of them and (Y/n) followed behind him, "That doesn't look comfortable at all.." she said, referring to her dear captain.

"I got hanged!" "Let me down now!"

Luffy suddenly let go and both of them fell to the ground. The right hand men barely had half a second to step back to not get hit.

"Law!" (Y/n) recovered from the shock to see Luffy laid across of him perpendicularly.

"Get off of me now!" but the surgeon immediately regretted his words when Luffy sat up and ended up hurting him even more. "What's wrong with you?! Trying to hurt me?!"

"Huh?"

"Don't give me "Huh?"!"

Their right hand men just sweatdropped at the scene, not knowing what to do except watch.

Law laid back down and (Y/n) went and kneeled beside him to heal, "Boy, how reckless can you?" he said, "Laughing at Pica's voice means death."

Luffy laughed again, "Look how far we've got! Where are we?" he ignored whatever Law had said.

"I don't know."

"I think we got even farther away from the Royal Palace." (Y/n) answered, done with healing for now.

Zoro went to sit on a nearby large piece of rubble. "Damn that stone assimilation human! He ended up being even bigger than Oars! If only I knew how to beat him." he said before suddenly feeling a presence. He along with the Witch upped their guard.

"Mugiwara" an unfamiliar voice was heard and everyone looked at who it was.

"Cabbage!" Luffy apparently recognizes him.

""Cabbage"?" (Y/n) definitely didn't recognize the blonde shining man in front of her, 'Who is this guy?'

Zoro finally faced the man. "You're Pirate Hunter Zoro, aren't you?" the man said.

"And you're Witch Doctor (Y/n)." he looked at the woman before moving his attention to her captain, "And Trafalgar.." the man brought his sword out, "Law!"

Thankfully (Y/n) managed to take her staff and parry the blade before pushing it away. Zoro and Luffy took a stance beside her.

"Give me back... my glory, you scoundrels of the Worst Generation!" he said

"What are you doing?! He's my friend now!" "No I'm not!" Luffy scolded the "Cabbage" guy, "What?! Do you still have a grudge against me?!"

The man sighed, "No, I'm not gonna go after you Straw Hats anymore" he said and the three of them relaxed in confusion, "because one of your crewmates, God Usopp, saved my life!"

"Usopp did?"

""God Usopp"?"

"That's right! I won't ever forget the brave image of him when he saved hundreds, sacrificing his life! Although I didn't see it."

Luffy felt honoured to be the captain of this "God", "Well, I'm happy when somebody says nice things about my friends." he laughed sheepishly.

"Oh right." "Cabbage" ruffled the inside of his coat and walked towards Law and (Y/n), who kept her guard up.

"Trafalgar." the man revealed a spotted hat from inside his coat and held it out to him, "THis is your hat, isn't it? I found it in front of the colosseum. Let me put it on you. Come closer, now!" a dangerous aura emitted from him and (Y/n) unsheathed her blade to point it right in front of the man's face, "Don't even come close to him!" she shouted, "Who are you anyways?!"

The question must have struck a nerve as he glared at her even more. He clicked his tongue, "My name is Cavendish, but of course you wouldn't know that. Well, who cares. I'm busy now anyway." he threw the hat on the ground before heading over to Lufyf, "Do you wanna know why I'm busy?" "No."

"All right, I'll tell you if you insist!" (Y/n) sweatdropped, 'What a weird man.' she thought. She then helped Law to place the hat back onto his head.

"I've decided to kill Doflamingo to return you guys the favour!" "What?!" Luffy clearly didn't like the idea.

"Leave the rest to me and go hide somewhere." "No thanks! I'm gonna do it! I have to return Rebecca the favour of buying me lunch!" "Your reason to fight was food?!" the doctor and the witch were shocked at his response.

Cavendish placed his index finger on Luffy's forehead and pushed it away, "Cut it out! I know you're trying to fool me! You plan on stealing more attention by killing Doflamingo, don't you?!"

"The spotlight?! What are you talking about?!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Think about it. If you take down a vicious pirate like Doflamingo, newspapers won't leave you alone! A flood of people will com eto hear your story from morning 'til night!" he pose in the middle of the area.

"Hello, superstar!" he tried to sound like a woman.

"Did you call me a "superstar"? Oh, please! What do you want?" he unintentionally or intentionally looked at (Y/n) who looked back at him in disgust.

"Cavendish-san! What do you think of the situation regarding pirates in recent years?" he lowered his voice slightly, "Oh? You're there, aren't you?! Cavendish-san?!"

"What's wrong? I'm right in front of you!"

"You are?! But i can't see you because you're so bright!"

"Is it too shiny for you?! I'm sorry! But I can't hid my brilliance!"

"Wow you really are a star!"

Luffy was the first one to react as he walked to Law and carried him on his shoulder.

"Let's go." he said to the other two who then followed behind him.
