Now in the middle of nowhere, (Y/n) looked around to check on everybody. Everyone was here, everyone but.. "Law?" she called while still walking around the ship. "Law?! Where are you?!" she called louder and even used her soul vision to look for him. There were no other souls on the ship except for the ones on the deck. He wouldn't have fallen off the ship with Giolla either.

"...Law?"

On with Chapter 21:

3RD PERSON POV

AT THE THOUSAND SUNNY

"Yeah, we bare outran the Navy and Doflamingo. We got (Y/n)-chan back and we're gonna head for Zou." Sanji was talking into a den den mushi and the others were sitting around it. Chopper took this time to heal any injuries any of them had gotten, and now he was bandaging up (Y/n) who was preserving her energy.

"Huh? No, wait, Sanji! Are you gonna leave us?!" Usopp said from the den den mushi.

"Sorry. Get through somehow and meet us there." Sanji apologized and Usopp freaked out, "What?!" Usopp exclaimed and immediately changed to whispering, "I'm ready to get away as soon as I have a chance! You can't do that to me!" but all Sanji responded with was another apology.

"Ow! Sanji, we'll be alright! You can go to Zou (Elephant) or Giraffe or whatever! I'm gonna destroy the factory for sure!" Franky reassured, "What are Luffy and Law doing?"

"Zoro and Kin'emon went to tell Luffy what's going on. Law is..." Sanji paused to glance at (Y/n) who was feeling down before continuing on to tell his crewmates what had happened.

Minutes later, the Straw Hats spread out in the ship to keep a look out for Doflamingo potentially coming to attack them again. Chopper was stationed outside the upper bathhouse and was looking through the railing due to his short stature. "We barely got away from Doflamingo but... will Tra-o be okay?"

"He will be okay." he turned around and saw (Y/n), now cleaned up after having taken a quick shower. She also removed most of the bandages Chopper had applied and the reindeer panicked, "(Y/n)! You took off your ban- eh?" he stopped himself when he took a closer look at her skin. "They're healed..?" he said unsurely since this was one of the first times he had seen her magic.

"Yeah, I healed some of my injuries while showering." (Y/n) explained, "Sorry for making you waste your resources though."

"It's okay! I'm glad you're feeling better now!" Chopper said and it warmed a part of her heart.

With a pat on the head, the Witch said, "I'll make some medicine for you in exchange." before heading down to the deck.

"Hey, guys! Are you keeping a lookout?" Nami shouted from the helm and Brook answered her from across the ship, "This is Brook here! It looks all serene from a 45-degree angle!" he said as he was leaning against the mast at a 45-degree angle. "You gotta look in all directions!" and he took that literally as he spun around the mast, still at a 45-degree angle.

"I see some clouds now..." Nami sighed from Brook's actions and ignored him afterwards, "I can't believe that guy can move through the air by attaching strings to clouds!" "Scary, isn't it?" she jumped at the sudden voice and turned to see her ally, dressed in the same outfit as before, this time cleaner despite it being worn and torn in some areas. (She refused Nami's clothes)

"(Y/n)-san! Shouldn't you be resting?" Nami asked.

"I'm fine. I've... dealt with worse... things." she said and Nami was confused, "Anyways, I have to talk to you. You can use elemental magic, right?" Nami didn't fully understand and answered with a "...Yes?"

(Y/n) rephrased her question, "You can control wind, right?" "Ah, yes."

"By now, you know that to push Doflamingo away, you can use your wind to blow the clouds away so he can't get closer." Nami nodded, "Brook!" the skeleton stopped spinning and faced the witch, "Keep a lookout for Doflamingo!"

"Oh, I don't know (Y/n)-san, since my eyes are like... knotholes! Yohohohohoho-ack!" He got slammed into a wall behind him when Nami used her clima-tact against him. "Yeah, like that."

"But I wonder if it's really okay for us to head to Zou like Law told us. We were under attack by the Navy and Doflamingo at that moment so we needed to get away, but..." "It's okay. Believe in him." Nami saw how confident (Y/n) was in her own words. 'She really trusts her captain that much... Just like us with Luffy...' she thought before realizing something.

"Ah, (Y/n)-san. Why are you telling me about pushing Doflamingo back though? Wasn't that your job?" (Y/n) nodded but then said, "Right, that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

Right after she said that, the ocean waves started getting rougher and was rocking the ship back and forth, getting more and more harsh every second.

"W-What's going on?!" Chopper cried while hanging onto the railings of the upper deck.

"Are we getting attacked again?!" Nami cried as well as she gripped onto the helm to stabilize herself.

"Nami-san!" Sanji shouted for her after finishing his call with Usopp. "(Y/n)-san! Are you guys alright?!" he stumbled his way up the stairs with Momonosuke following behind him.

Brook was running around everywhere, trying to not fall into the water while Caesar was rolling on the ground.

Meanwhile (Y/n), she had said nothing this entire time and calmly walked over to the edge of the ship. She looked over the railing and the Straw Hats, plus Momo and Caesar, followed.

A dark figure was slowly surfacing from the water and almost everyone stepped back. "What is that?!" just as Nami screamed, an inky black hand appeared and landed on the deck, barely missing Caesar, Momo, and Chopper. At the same time, the weather suddenly worsened as clouds started forming above them.

The creature pulled itself up and with its large round eyes, it stared at the people on the deck intensely.

Sanji instinctively lit his leg on fire and jumped towards the creature. Before he could kick though, he was stopped mid-air.

"Umibozu!" (Y/n) finally spoke and let Sanji down from the air. The creature, now known as "Umibozu", looked to where the voice came from and moved closer to the ship. It brought its head closer and-

"Eh?!" the Straw Hats exclaimed when they saw their companion pat the creature on its head as if it was normal. The creature itself looked pleased with the affection too, and the sky suddenly became brighter and the sea got calmer.

"Ah, sorry. I forgot this would happen if new people would see Umibozu for the first time." (Y/n) said so casually, as if she wasn't patting a dangerous sea creature only mentioned in urban legends.

"I-Is that your pet..?" Nami asked, not sure on what she would call it.

"You could say that." the Witch answered, "One of my abilities allows me to summon spirits for help. And this fella," she referred to the inky black being, "has been with me since the beginning." She suddenly stopped patting and said, "Anyways, thanks for the help." Umibozu lowered its head so that its master could jump onto it.

"(Y/n)-san?! Where are you going?" Sanji shouted.

"I'm going to help my captain, of course. Don't worry, I'll make sure your crew comes back safe too."

"But- But Tra-o said to go to Zou!" Nami cried, "You're going to go against your captain's words?!" (Y/n) frowned at the statement, "It's not that..." she paused and Nami asked, "Then, what is it?"

Not knowing how to respond, she sighed, "We made a promise, to protect and be there for each other." the Straw Hats listened intently, "We both experienced hard times in the past and lost someone dearly then. We have a common enemy and goal."

"We started the Heart Pirates together. We've travelled the seas together. We did almost everything together... And it didn't take long for us to fall in love with each other too." she chuckled at the barely heard statement with a slight blush on her face. "I promised that, as his right hand man, I will protect him with all my life."

Sanji sighed. "Alright." he said and Nami was surprised, "Sanji-kun!"

"You're Robin-chan's friend, right?" (Y/n) nodded, "Do you know who our crewmates are?" "Yeah, I know each and every one of you and your bounties."

"... That's a bit creepy isn't it?" "I'm a researcher for a reason."

After saying their goodbyes, (Y/n) travelled on top of Umibozu, who was mostly submerged except for the portion (Y/n) was sitting on, towards where they had last seen the two Warlords.

Reaching the bridge, no one was there but it looked half destroyed. Some parts of the bridge were bitten off, some were cleanly sliced. At the same time, an explosion occurred in the middle of dressrosa and (Y/n) quickly made her way there after sending Umibozu back to where he came from.

She flew from building to building and saw the area where the explosion came from had caused dust to float in the air, blocking the view of whatever was there.

When she finally reached, the dust had begun to dissipate and revealed the Straw Hats in their disguises and Marines at the sides. In the middle, Doflamingo was standing in front of Law who was lying on the ground.

"Tra-o!" she heard Luffy call from inside the colosseum. "Hey, Tra-o! Why are you with Doflamingo-" he cut himself off when Doflamingo pulled out a gun and shot Law in the abdomen.

Eyes widened, pupils shrunk, (Y/n) let out the most painful scream she has ever done.

"NOOO!"
