Lucy's P.O.V

As I felt the smooth sheets of the bed I realized I had been back inside Yui's old room. I sat up and looked around to see that I had been right but didn't see Ayato. I sighed a sigh of relief before I got up and went into the nursery. I looked around and seen Ayato had been exhausted, he must have been trying to get Chiyo asleep and finally did it. Chiyo started to sleep but as she caught a glance at me she began to whine. I couldn't stare at her with no emotion like I did with Ayato.

I smiled at her before taking her from Ayato and rocking her to sleep. Trying my hardest to ignore Ayato being in my presence. Which hurt more than anything. As soon as Chiyo fell asleep I laid her down. Smiling at her sleeping face. She looked so peaceful, so kind, she is truly my one and only shining star.

I turned around and looked at the sleeping man in the rocking chair. I was surprised that I for some reason felt secure. I had to go while I had the chance. I didn't need another talk with him.

                                                                          Subaru's P.O.V

I sat up as I heard four soft knocks at my door. I felt so much annoyance that when I yelled at the door, I wanted the person to hear it. "What do you want?"

"Do you have Lucy?"

"Let me guess, she left you for the third time?"

"I don't know, if she did, then she left Chiyo." My eyes widened. I got up and opened the door only to see Ayato with Chiyo in his arms.

"She left Chiyo...with you?"

"Oi, we can't be sure that she has truly left."

"Did you look around the mansion?"

"I did and she is nowhere to be found. Now tell me if you are harboring her." He said with a glare. I glared back and would have slammed the door in his face but he had Chiyo and knowing Lucy, she would have been angry at me for doing that. I guess she must have left but it seemed confusing as to why she would have left Chiyo with him.
