Well, Goodbye Internships
"Of course the Villain would have an awesome gaming room." Shinso whined.
Siren just laughed, "Well, we wouldn't be Present Mic and Siren if we didn't have an awesome base! I can tell you really want to check out the gaming room, so you might actually want to consider being a good boy."
Shinso sat back down groaning. He was so conflicted right now. he wanted to go home, but he also wanted to see what exactly this crazy villain had planned. I mean, he was chained down in a gaming room. A gaming room! And Sensei said Siren and Present Mic wouldn't really harm them, so how exactly did Siren plan to keep him here? Well, other than the shock collar that blocked his quirk. Was that really all he was going to do to keep him there? The collar did seem to be pretty snug, so maybe it was hard to get off?
"If you're wondering about that collar, it only comes off with my fingerprint. And I don't think I need to remind you that it will shock you if you leave the area you are supposed to be in at the time." Siren mused as he walked over to a music player.
"A shock collar is really all you have planned to keep me here?" Shinso deadpanned as he warily watched the villain mess with the music player.
"I suppose so. Then again, I guess you really don't understand your predicament. Don't worry, Eraserhead was the same way you know. Took Present Mic kidnapping him and singing to him to stop him from thinking this was child's play. It was this song, actually."
Music started to play lightly around the room. Shinso recognized it immediately. Sensei showed him this song earlier today after telling him that the villain duo will usually play this song when they were trying to establish control without force. Apparently, you were to not try anything if they used this song because it meant they were in a no-bullshit mood. Aizawa-Sensei learned the hard way around his senior year in high school when he tried to escape after it was played. Sensei won't even tell Shinso what happened after that. He refuses to talk about it. Siren started singing.
It's not easy having yourself a good time,
Greasing up those bets and betters, Watching out they don't four-letter
Siren started to dance around him with a wild grin. Shinso rolled his eyes.
Smells-like something I've forgotten, Curled up died and now it's rotten
Siren put his hands on both of Shinso's shoulders as he leaned in from behind the chair.
I'm not a gangster tonight, Don't want to be a bad guy
I'm just a loner baby, And now you're gotten in my way
Siren pushed off and started to prance around the room.
I can't decide, Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven, Please don't hang your head and cry
Siren was up in Shinso's face pointing a finger into his chest.
No wonder why, My heart feels dead inside,
It's cold and hard and petrified
Siren grinned as he back away and threw his arms into the air.
Lock the doors and close the blinds, We're going for a ride
Shinso felt a shock go through his body that left him temporarily paralyzed with pain. Was this the shock collar's doing? It hurt a lot and left him unable to move.
It's a bitch convincing people to like you, If I stop now call me a quitter
If lies were cats you'd be a litter
Shinso could move again but found himself backed against his chair, trying to back as far away as possible from Siren. That was not easy seeing he was standing right in front of him, again.
Pleasing everyone isn't like you, Dancing jigs until I'm crippled
Slug ten drinks I won't get pickled
Siren back away once more, giving Shinso space to relax.
I've got to hand it to you, You've played by all the same rules
It takes the truth to fool me, And now you've made me angry
Shinso gulped down a slight feeling of fear as he watched a feral grin appear on Siren's face. How could someone be so scary when they sang? Siren started to prance around the room.
I can't decide, Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven, Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why, My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds, We're going for a ride
Siren moved over to Shinso to lean into his face, with his hands on both of his shoulders.
Oh I could throw you in the lake
Or feed you poisoned birthday cake
I wont deny I'm gonna miss you when you're gone
Oh I could bury you alive
But you might crawl out with a knife
And kill me when I'm sleeping
That's why
Siren squeezed Shinso's shoulders before moving a foot away from him.
I can't decide, Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven, Please don't hang your head and cry
Siren was now pulling something from his jacket pocket while Shinso watched him wearily.
No wonder why, My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Siren produced a button from his jacket and waved it in front of Shinso. Shinso grew cold at the sight of the collar remote. There was also a remote to this collar? Is that how he shocked him earlier?!
Lock the doors and close the blinds, We're going for a ride
Once more electricity coursed through Shinso's body. The music ended and Siren was standing over the game chair, grinning at the paralyzed Shinso that was slumped against his chair.
"I really don't want to hurt you Shinso, but if you force me to, I will. So please do behave. You should at least try to make this week enjoyable." Siren insisted.
Shinso groaned as he pushed himself up into a more comfortable position, before he choked, "Okay."
Siren smiled as he patted Shinso on the head. "Good boy."
"Little Boss! I got the food and coffee! Oh, and I got your phone!" Toga said as she made her way over to the two boys.
Siren looked behind Shinso to see Toga, who was now in black pajamas with pink hearts all over them, pulling a cart that had two plates of Grits casserole and a big cup of coffee. She had his phone in her other hand. "Thanks, Toga."
"No problem Baby Boss! Here's your phone." Toga handed him his phone.
Siren moved to Shinso's right and wrapped an arm around his chair with a cheeky grin. "Smile, Hero-san."
Shinso glared at the villain to his right before giving the most dead inside look he could to the phone camera in front of him. Siren took the photo and moved away from Control as he messed with his phone.
"Let's just caption this photo 'Bonding Week' and send it to Eraserhead's phone. And... done. Now it's a matter of waiting for him to respond and- oh, hey! He's trying to call! You can go now, Toga!" Siren said as he was staring at his phone.
"Good night, Boss." Toga laughed as she skipped away.
"Good Night, Toga. Please try not to annoy Dabi tonight!" Siren called out to her.
"No promises!" Toga chuckled.
"And I guess I should answer this call before your teacher gets too mad, huh Shinso?" Siren laughed as he pushed the answer button.
"Hello, Eraserhead-"
"Siren, give me back my student. Now!" Eraserhead seethed.
"No can do, Eraserhead. You see, I already have this whole week planned out. And I plan on keeping Shinso till his internship is over. You can have him back the day before he goes back to school. Now, I've got to go, so bye!" Siren replied.
"SIREN!!!" Eraserhead growled.
Siren hung up with a grin and pocketed his phone before facing Shinso. "Well, I think it's time for dinner and you better not be planning on starving yourself Hero because I don't want to force you to eat, but if I have to-"
"I know, I know. You don't want to, but you will if you have to." Shinso sighed.
Siren walked over to the cart to pull it over to Shinso who raised his eyebrows at it.
"It's grits casserole! An American dish! And a giant cup of coffee because I'm a villain, not a monster. I'm not going to keep you away from coffee all week because that would be cruel." Siren explained as he shoved the plate of grits casserole into Shinso's lap. "If I give you a fork, you won't try to fight me with it will you?"
"You'd just shock me if I tried. Then the food would fall to the ground and be soiled." Shinso deadpanned.
"Good. Here is a fork and your coffee." Siren smiled as he handed over the fork and coffee. "And no, it's not drugged. What's the point in having you in here if you are knocked out? Besides, I don't want to play video games by myself when I can force you to play with me!"
Shinso sighed as he glanced down at his plate before taking a bite of it. To be honest, it wasn't bad. It was actually really good for American food. (Let's be honest here, the food in other countries is way better than America's food.) Siren watched him slowly eat for about a minute before he grabbed his own plate and sat down in his gaming chair. Shinso took a sip of the coffee and had to suppress a smile because this was the best coffee he had ever tasted! Not that it really helped since there was an air of happiness around him as he drank his coffee. If they were in a show, he would be shown with a light pink background that has sparkles and bubbles. (That background that is shown when normally expressionless characters are happy or content.)
"You really like coffee, don't you?" Siren teased.
"Shut up." Shinso fumed as he hid his face in his cup.
After another ten minutes of awkward silence with the occasional teasing jab from Siren, they were done eating and the dishes were on the cart again. Siren pushed the cart away from them and got out the controllers. He then made Shinso choose a game.
"I guess Overcooked 34? I don't know... I haven't played the newest version yet." Shinso hesitantly answered as he picked up the bag of coffee candies that was next to his chair and put it in his lap.
Siren put the game into the game system and started the game. "Then I guess we'll be completing the game before you leave." Siren reasoned.
"I mean, Animal crossing Infinity looked cool as well. And how did you get the gold edition?" Shinso inquired.
"I waited in a line for three weeks in France because apparently, they decided they wanted to sell it in another country instead of here in Japan! But I have it, so it doesn't matter. Choose a character to play." Siren replied as he chose his character, which was a Librarian looking Corgi.
Shinso chose the black cat character. "Why do they change up the characters every game? It just makes getting attached to characters so much more annoying." Shinso complained.
"Don't know, don't care." Siren laughed.
The game started and it revealed they had to learn to cook this time to defeat quirk eating apples. "Quirk-eating apples? Seriously? And I thought the Planet eating Pizza was weird." Shinso sighed.
"Are you going to complain about everything in this game all night?" Siren groaned.
"Hey, you kidnapped me, so you have to deal with me." Shinso retorted.
"I could always hog tie you and toss you into a closet." Siren joked.
"No thank you." Shinso shuddered.
"I didn't think so. Now, stop complaining and help me pass this level." Siren snorted as he selected the level.
It was level 1-1. It was based on Mars for some bizarre reason, and Shinso immediately said, "Mars? Of course. Why not."
"I will push you off the ledge." Siren threatened.
"But wouldn't that mess up our score?" Shinso smirked.
"Ugh. Just help me make the stupid rock soup already! We need at least a score of 400 to pass!" Siren pouted.
They spent the next few minutes running around a kitchen that had a cliff in it, trying to cook soup. At one point, Siren was running around screaming while trying to put out a fire.
"Why would you leave the rocks in the pot? You knew they would burn!" Siren dramatically wailed.
"Oh no... we totally lost. It's the end of the world." Shinso sarcastically replied.
"It's not funny to purposely mess up a level, Hero." Siren stuck his tongue out.
"No need to whine about it like a toddler." Shinso sassed as the timer went off.
"We lost. We didn't even get a 0... how did we get -200?" Siren exasperated.
"Oops, my bad. Guess I wasn't trying." Shinso laughed victoriously.
"So it's going to be like that, huh? Well then. Guess we are going to have to go versus mode!" Siren proclaimed with a grin as he started a normal food round.
Shinso rolled his eyes retorting, "You sure are a sore loser."
"Meanie! I just wanted to play games, but noooooo! You just have to make things complicated!" siren wailed as he slumped back with his arm over his face.
"Are you naturally this dramatic? I thought that was just for show." Shinso jabbed.
"The world will never know!" Siren responded. "However, you will know just how good I am at gaming."
"Uh-huh. So that's where all that brainpower went to: video game strategies. And to think you could have applied it to something worthwhile- hey! That was my tomato!" Shinso said.
"I applied it to kidnapping you, and see how well that worked out! And it's my tomato now! Get you're own!" Siren responded.
Shinso growled as he quickly added an onion to the Villain's almost fully cooked tomato soup. "Well, then I guess you don't need this soup then!"
"My soup! You monster! I was almost done making that!" Siren cried out.
"Ha ha ha! Suffer! That's for taking my tomato!" Shinso laughed as he popped a coffee candy into his mouth.
Siren retaliated by leaving the pot on the stove till it caught on fire. "Burn kitchen! Burn!!! HA HA HA!"
"Well, it looks like neither of us will win. oh well. I blame you." Shinso responds.
"What? Why blame me?!" Siren screeched.
"Because you're evil. That's why." Shinso reasoned.
"And you're a meddling hero who ruins things too! So it's probably your fault!" Siren argued.
"I bet I can beat you next round." Shinso challenged.
"You're on Hero!" Siren replied.
And the next few hours were them just sabotaging each other over and over again. They were about to get a new record of -900 points when the game system turned off. Apparently, Present Mic wasn't happy they were still up when it was almost 4 in the morning.
'I thought you were going to turn this off by 2?" Present Mic said as he glared at Siren.
Siren smiled his innocent look while Shinso froze.
"I may have lost track of time. My bad. Won't happen again. Does this mean I can sleep in?" Siren explained.
"No later than 3pm tomorrow. It is your turn to do dishes tomorrow Siren." Present Mic sighed before storming off.
"Good night Dad Mic!" Siren called out with a goofy grin.
"I will suspend your invention privileges, Siren!" Present Mic yelled back.
"Love you too, Nii-san!" Siren giggled. "Well, let's get you to your room, hero."
"Huh?" Shinso was confused.
Siren got up and walked the few steps to Shinso's chair. "Where did you think you'd sleep? In here? Nonsense. I've got a room just for you to sleep in. So let's just undo these chains and get you into your room." Siren undid the chains before shoving the pajamas that were on the floor into Shinso's arms. "And these pajamas are for you to wear."
Shinso slowly stood up, waiting for Siren to lead him to where ever they were going.
"Let's go, Hero-san! Follow me!" Siren giggled as he grabbed Shinso's arm to pull him along.
Shinso tightened his grip on the pajamas with his left arm as Siren pulled his right arm with a vice grip. "Not like I have much of a choice anyways with that death grip of yours."
"Sorry, Senpai. But I can't have you exploring halls and rooms you shouldn't be exploring! So you are going to have to deal with it." Siren beamed. "Allow Shinso to leave this room without being shocked."
"Access granted." came from the speakers hidden around the room.
Siren led him through the game room, and out a door. They turned left to head towards a metal door. Siren entered a code that opened the door. They entered the fancy-looking elevator and Shinso looked around while Siren entered the key code to take them to floor -2.
"Is everything in this base so fancy looking?" Shinso muttered to himself.
"Well, of course! Can't have a villain lair without the fancy stuff! Even our living room is fancy!" Siren hummed as the elevator started to rise up.
"Huh. Thought the elevator would be blaring Rock." Shinso noted.
"Nah. Elevators are for peaceful transportation. We all love Rock n' Roll here, but even we need a break from it." Siren smiled.
"But Jazz?" Shinso questioned.
"What? You don't think villains appreciate Jazz music?" Siren asked.
"No... it was just unexpected." Shinso sighed.
The elevator opened to a dark grey hallway with green marble flooring. "What is up with you people and marble?"
"Hero, I'll have you know that marble is a fantastic element for a base of evil." Siren stated seriously as he pulled the hero out of the elevator.
There were six doors on each side of the hall. Some of the doors seemed to have locks on the outside of them. Almost as if they were meant to keep someone from escaping them. Siren opened the second door on the right, entered the room, and released his grip on Shinso. "Change Shinso's access to only this room and the bathroom."
"Access granted."
"Now, I don't think I need to explain what will happen if you manage to unlock this door and leave this room." Siren warned Shinso.
"I'll get shocked to the point of paralysis if I leave, I know." Shinso groaned.
"Good. The bathroom is the black door in the back, and the door to our right is connected to my room so if anything happens, I'm only a door away. There should be some clothes for you in the dresser."
The room was a decent sized bedroom with purple walls and black carpet. A bed was in the back of the room, in the middle. To the right of the bed was a black dresser with four drawers, and to the left of the bed was the bathroom door. There was also a small TV on the right wall and a small stand under it with a few games to play. The TV remote rested on top of the stand. Next, the door they came through, was a laundry hamper. The bed was a full-sized bed with black sheets and a purple comforter. There were two thick purple pillows. There was also a purple sleeping bag hanging over the end of the bed. In an outlet next to the hamper, was a purple night light in the shape of a cat.
"Try to get some sleep. Lord only knows how little you sleep with those eye bags of yours. And don't worry about the collar if you try to shower because it's waterproof." Siren sighed as he turned to leave.
With a sound of a click, Shinso was locked in a bedroom for the night... morning? Whatever it was, he was stuck in here for now. Shinso went over to the dresser to check it out. The top drawer had a package of boxers in it... he doesn't even want to think of how Siren knew his boxer size. The next drawer had a few shirts in it. Then the third drawer just had a few pairs of black pants. And the bottom drawer had pajamas in it.
'Siren really did think this out, didn't he?' Shinso thought as he grabbed a pair of boxers to add to his pajamas and headed to the bathroom. In some sort of creepy twisted way, Siren made sure to accommodate for his stay here. Not that it didn't make Shinso feel as if he was being treated like some doll or toy with how Siren had outfits bought for him to wear while he is being held against his will.
The bathroom had black and purple tiles with grey walls. The sink and toilet were black while the bathtub was purple with black cat shower curtains. It was kind of nice. It was almost scary how homely he had made the bedroom and bathroom for Shinso. But that's what you get when you have an analytical villain for your number one fan. Shinso checked the bathroom door and was happy to find he could lock it from the inside. Shinso put his pajamas down on the sink and stripped out of his jumpsuit. he then got into the tub. There was lavender-scented shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Shinso was sure that Siren did this as a joke about his hair color.
Shinso turned the black knobs to turn on the shower and braced himself against the wall as hot water fell upon him. He hadn't really bathed in the past few days and really needed this shower. Though, he wasn't exactly thrilled about having to bath in a villain's lair while being held captive. He knew Siren was somewhat of a decent person, but where did that decency end with his obsession over Control? He liked to think Siren would at least allow him to have privacy in the bathroom, but Siren was a wild card. He'll just hope he has privacy. It was probably for the best if he assumed he had privacy. (Siren, does, in fact, respect the privacy of the bedroom and bathroom.) Shinso lathered the shampoo into his hair and rinsed it out. He then rubbed in the conditioner and body wash before rinsing once more. With a sigh, he turned off the water and got out of the bathtub. He then headed to the sink to see if there were any towels hidden under it in the cabinets. He found a stack of purple towels and grabbed one and started to dry off before dropping it on the floor.
Shinso got dressed into the black pajamas that had yellow goggles on them- 'were these Eraserhead pajamas?!' Shinso then looked through the drawers on the sink, hoping he would find a toothbrush or comb. He did, in fact, find a toothbrush and a comb. Thank god for Siren's obsessive prepping for the kidnapping. Shinso brushed his teeth and combed his hair before leaving the bathroom. He stared at the bed, wondering if he should sleep in it or the sleeping bag. The bed at the orphanage wasn't the best, so sleeping in a nice fluffy bed sounded nice. But sleeping in a sleeping bag also sounded nice. Or maybe that was the Eraserhead Jr talking in him. After spending another minute thinking about it, Shinso decided to do both. He turned off the lights and got into the sleeping bag before slipping under the covers. It was so warm and cozy that if it wasn't for the fact he was currently a kidnapped victim, he would say he enjoyed it. (He still enjoys it)
Shinso stared at the black ceiling fan above him, hoping that staring at it would put him to sleep. Thankfully, he didn't have to wait long before the stress from the long day he had caught up with him and he went out like a light.
So, Two chapters in one day? Yeah! I just really wanted to finish his first day of the week of being there. I also want to know if Dabi should kidnap Shouto after 'saving' him from Stain. Eraserhead will get his turn at being kidnapped eventually. After the internships actually. Also, the coronavirus is getting pretty hectic, right? I'll try to update every 1 to 2 weeks. I'm, trying to work on two fanfictions and get ready for college so I tend to fall behind a few days on updates.
