KTH, POV

The entire car ride to the office was nice. Taehyung and Jungkook spent the ride arguing over why Rookie King's burgers were way better than Five Guys--a light hearted conversation which managed to make both of them forget about the things they were avoiding. 

"Which floor is your office on?" 

"Floor 7, not too far" he said with a smug expression that made Taehyung roll his eyes

"I was just wondering, don't flatter yourself. I wanted one on the top floor but Hyung knew I'd just hide out there so he put me on the same floor as hi-" and the ding of the elevator signaled that it was time for Taehyung to part ways. "Have a good day, Mr. Jeon" he said nice and slow as he walked out of the elevator, not noticing the way Jungkook inspected their surroundings for other people before yanking Tae by his wrist back into the elevator. 

"Is that how you're going to part ways with me after I so kindly brought you breakfast and drove you to work? hm?" It was a whisper and it drove Taehyung crazy, but the sound of the door closing jolted him from his trance as he stepped back to stop the doors from closing. Holding the button to keep the doors open, he leaned in and captured the younger males lips with his own. It was quick but passionate and enough to leave them both wanting more.

 "Thank you for breakfast and the ride" he winked before taking his leave from the elevator leaving them both a blushing mess as Tae practically skipped to his office. 

Ahhh, it's going to be really hard working in the same building as him. 

"You finally made it." 

"Suga-hyung! How long have you been waiting outside my office?" 

"Not long, just got here. Saw you talking to Jungkook in the elevator. Did you come in together?"

"Yeah, we met up for breakfast so we could talk about the demo.." lies

"Ahh, I see" Yoongi smirked at the way Tae's lips were a little swollen and definitely moist "Well, I'll let Joonie know you're here. He wanted to talk to you."

"Alright, see you in a bit!" Tae smiled before barging into his office and plopping down on the couch. A small squeal escaping his lips but it definitely wasn't because of the man on floor 7. nope. absolutely not. 

Tae sighed loudly as he started checking through the various emails he needed to respond to. Finding it harder and harder to concentrate. Maybe this isn't such a good idea. He thought as he found his mind constantly going back to a certain man with incredible abs and a cute bunny smile. But since when did Taehyung ever play it safe?

JJK, POV

knock knock 

"Come in" 

"Jeon! What's up!"

"Oh, hey Yugs. What brings you here?" 

"Namjoon-ssi sent me. He's having me do a demo recording after work today. He said you have the guide and the lyrics."

Jungkook's ears perked up at the new information. 

"Hm that's strange. Let me call Namjoon-ssi. We already assigned the demo to Taehyung." 

"Yeah, I'm doing your part of it. He said you couldn't record it because you have a dinner with your woman. So he asked me to do this one for you since they need it for tomorrow to give to the new trainees." 

"Oh. I see. I'll email you the necessary information." with a tongue piercing his cheek, Jungkook tried desperately not to show his irritation

"You good, Jeon? You seem tense" 

"I'm fine, just have plenty to do before lunch."

"Alright bro" he leaned forward to fist bump Jungkook before smirking "hey, send me some good vibes. I'm gonna ask Kim out after we finish recording. Who knows maybe I'll get lucky and have some kinky recording studio sex after everyone leaves" 

Thank God for Jungkook's tall desk because Yugyeom wasn't able to see the way his knuckles were turning white. Jungkook just hummed in response as the other male left his office with the wave of a hand.

The second the clock struck 12, Jungkook was in the elevator and found himself in front of Tae's office. After a few unanswered knocks, he opened the door and bursted into laughter at the sight. Seriously, Tae? 

He took a seat on the couch right next to the sleeping male and starting running his fingers through the soft blonde locks. Sighing heavily at the way his heart rate accelerated just by looking at the man. "beautiful" he whispered before placing a soft kiss on Tae's forehead which made the older male stir in his sleep until he finally sat up rubbing his eyes. 

At that moment there was a knock, surely the pizza delivery guy. Jungkook laughed at the fact that Taehyung still seemed to be in dream land so he got up and paid for the food before setting it on the coffee table and taking his spot again. 

"Tae?"

"mmm"

"Wake up!"

"mmmm"

"Taehyung...seriously, you're on the clock"

"mmm"

Jungkook was getting slightly frustrated at the way Tae was nearly back asleep sitting straight up. So he gently laid the older male backwards on the sofa and hovered over him. Placing soft kisses all over his face. Making Taehyung erupt into giggles as Jungkook began to slightly tickle his waist 

"okay..ha...okay I'm awa..haahake" he shoved the younger off of him "you got my pizza for me? how much!"

"I could give a shit about the pizza money, Tae. Let's eat though, I had a hell of a morning already" 

"I'd say" Tae wiggled his eyebrows before taking a slice and they began eating. 

Taehyung didn't even think twice about the way Jungkook had been treating him all day. He completely ignored the fact that Jungkook went straight from friends with benefits to husband material behavior within 24 hours. He certainly wasn't fantasizing about what it would be like to be with Jungkook, forreal. and no, he absolutely was not enjoying every second of the younger males presence, even when they were just eating in silence. 

"Tae?"

"Hmm?"

"Did Namjoon-ssi talk to you anymore about the demo recording tonight?" Jungkook asked nervously, thankfully for him Taehyung didn't notice

"Nah, just told me to do my part and then head home. Why?"

"I had to send the information to Yugyeom.. apparently he is recording my part since I can't." 

Taehyung smirked and raised an eyebrow at the mention of his one night stand from the other night. "Well, looks like I'm in for an interesting evening after-all" Tae quipped playfully, watching Jungkook's reaction and laughing his ass off whenever the younger male started choking on his food. 

"Excuse me?" Jungkook asked, after washing down the food and pinning Taehyung down to the couch 

"You know, your possessiveness may be annoying as hell, considering we aren't exclusive in any way" (no it didn't break Jungkook's heart at all the way Taehyung emphasized the words) "BUT it really is a turn on." Tae whispered as he leaned up to nibble on the ravenette's earlobe. 

"Well you're bratty attitude is not a turn on, Taehyung." Jungkook lifted his knee to rub up against Tae's crotch, making the older emit a low whimper "I told you, I don't want you going back to him."

"and why is that, Kookie?" 

"Taehyung" he snarled

"Jungkook, I'm just joking about Yugyeom.. honestly. Don't get me wrong, he was a great fuck but I don't fuck one night stands more than once." Tae giggled whenever he saw the look of relief wash over Jungkook's face "but Jungkookie... I'm single. I don't want you to expect me to be only with you." 

Damn if that didn't feel like a blow to the gut nothing else did. Jungkook snapped out of the zone he was drifting into and sat up from the couch, releasing Tae's arm and angrily biting into his pizza again. "I know. You don't have to remind me every time we speak." 

Taehyung wasn't sure why he kind of wanted Jungkook to argue with him a little more but it's good that he didn't. Right, because we don't have feelings for each other.  "Just making sure one last time, Kooks. I won't mention it again, promise" Tae said sweetly before taking a bite of the slice of pizza in Jungkook's hand and crawling into his lap. 

Jungkook rolled his eyes trying not to look at Tae's face which he already knew was pouting. "M'sorry Kookie. Don't be mad at mweee" followed by trailing sweet soft kisses up Jungkook's jawline, sending chills down his back. 

"I've got to go back to my office soon, Tae. Our break is already over" Jungkook sighed, realizing that he needed a minute to calm himself down. He didn't know why he felt so possessive over Taehyung so soon, especially when he had no right but their conversation just now left a bitter taste in his mouth. 

"Fine.." Tae spoke before climbing out of Jungkook's lap and back onto the sofa "I guess, I'll just text you then.." 

"Yeah, I'll talk to you later" Jungkook gave a forced smile before pecking Tae's lips and leaving his office. 

Taehyung tried really hard to ignore the way Jungkook's demeanor changed so quickly. 

*** small time skip, after work hours ***

KTH, POV

Whenever he made his way into the recording studio he could already see Yugyeom sitting on the couch scrolling on his phone. The male's face lit up as soon as he saw Taehyung walk in. 

"I was wondering when I'd be blessed with your beauty in the office" he said with a wink

"Ah, missed me after one night?" Taehyung winked before setting his bag down and pulling out his computer to set up the track. He was startled when he felt two hands lightly on his hips.

"Yes, actually, I kind of haven't stopped thinking about you" 

At any other point in Taehyung's life he would've been ready to sieze the opportunity when an incredibly attractive guy was coming for him like this-but for some reason, knowing that this particular guy rubs Jungkook the wrong way, has Taehyung backing down. 

"Listen, I'm sorry if I gave you any wrong impressions but.. I'm a one night only kind of guy." Tae spoke softly as he rubbed his neck 

"Can I have a chance to change your mind on that?" Yugyeom asked sweetly 

"I just don't think that's a good idea. I hurt people, often."  avoiding eye contact, Yugyeom seemed to take the hint 

"Hmm.. okay." he raised his hands in defeat "I'll back down for now. Let's get this recording done." 

Taehyung had never been so thankful for a guy that actually respected the word no in his life. 

Stupid bunny, just had to check in on me, huh? He smirked to himself, not noticing his light pink flushed cheeks or the way Yugyeom was glancing over his shoulder. 

JJK, POV

He let out a heavy breath as he walked into the restaurant heading straight for the private booth he reserved. Surprised to see Chaeyoung already seated. 

"Hi Jungkookie."

"Hey Chae"

"Let me talk first, alright?" he hummed in response 

"Things have been off with us for awhile. I know that. We both have been doing things we shouldn't. I was so angry when I saw those messages on your phone but mostly because it just proved what I already thought, that our relationship is falling a part. Which I don't want." she reached out and took his hand meanwhile Jungkook's mind is freaking out. "I've been unfaithful too Jungkook. and I know you know this already. I know I denied it before...I've been thinking all day" she let go of his hand and began caressing her belly. "Don't you think we owe it to this little one to at least try to fix whatever is going on?" 

He wasn't sure what to say. Sure, he would like to fix things and be involved with his baby's life but he'd be lying if he said he still had a desire to marry Chaeyoung. In fact, that desire had almost completely dissolved. "I don't know Chae. A lot has changed."

She stared at him with daggers "Do you love him?"

"W-what? Of course not. It's not like that." He spat back

"Jungkook, I heard your phone calls. You don't talk like that to someone you feel nothing for."

"Well, you're wrong. Chae." 

"Look, wrong or not. This isn't okay. So you need to choose, either cut off what you have with Taehyungie for good or lose me and the baby." 

"Ultimatum?" he cocked an eyebrow, knowing that neither of those options were acceptable for him 

"I'm not going to raise a child with someone who spends his free time fucking around on me. That's not the example I want to lead. I didn't think you wanted to either. Especially considering your fa-" 

"Don't you fucking dare, Chaeyoung. Don't bring him up." 

"I'm just saying. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree."

"The difference between him and I, is that he never loved my mother. He never loved anyone. I did love you, Chae. You changed. I don't know when you started cheating on me, I don't even know who it was but things fell a part the last year..so don't act as if I started fucking around on you for no good reason. You know how this happened." his appetite was completely lost as the waiter sat his plate down. "I need time to think. I'll see you later, if you decide to come home." 

"Kookie, wait-"

"Save it." He scoffed as he stormed out of the restaraunt and called Yoongi

 "I'm coming out tonight, hyung. What time?"

"Meet up at 9:30?"

"Sounds good." 

Well, at least part of my day was good. He thought to himself remembering how he and Taehyung spent their morning. A big smile overcoming him whenever his phone lit up with that familiar name. 

Yeah, there's no stopping this now.  Jungkook thought to himself as he started the car to pick up Yoongi and head to the club. Knowing good and well that he shouldn't. He never should've started this back up. At this point, there's no way Jungkook would be able to cut Taehyung out of his life..but the scariest part of that is the fact that Taehyung could cut him out at anytime.
