Gates Pov.

I was currently standing in the memento room looking at the 6-4s work with the milita. I had my hands on my hips as I saw a picture of Davis and Droz back to back as a few groups of 10 or so imc soldier were assaulting the 2 retired pilots. I remember fondly since that was when Nathen showed that he was a real 6-4.

Flashback start-

No one pov.

In a forest on Troy 2 figures could be seen running through a forest as shots rang out over them. One of the 2 shot back over his shoulder with a flatline as the other one threw a gravity star over the one with the flatline. "DROZ COME ON!" The one who threw the star yelled pulling out his wingman shooting.

"I'M COMING DAVIS! KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS!" The one with the flatline cried back as they continued running. As they ran gates was standing at a console on the 6-4s ship as a new milita Pilot was being sent to them to be trained. "I BLAME YOU FOR THE MISSION FAILING DAVIS!"

"I'M NOT THE ONE WHO SHOT AT THEM BEFORE REALIZING HOW MANY THERE WERE!" Davis yelled back as they kept running. Gates watched the footage shaking her head as she saw the milita ship getting close to the rally point on the planet. The original plan for meeting the new pilot who was currently titan less was to have him stay on the planet over night to get an understanding of his skills when IMC forces landed on the planet a few hours ago. So on the hopes of making the area safe Gates sent Droz and Davis to clear them out. That's when a transmission from the mitila drop ship came in. Gates sighed opening the message seeing they were basically on the planet and dropped off the pilot then left. She pressed another button and it showed the pilot standing in the clearing holding his rifle as he looked around. Davis and Droz were a few minutes out when a loud explosion rocked the area. Nathen was on his knee aiming in the direction of Droz and Davis as 3 groups of IMC converaged on the clearing. Gates started to panic when Nathen shot into the forest. Droz fell flat on his ass as a bullet flew past his face hitting an IMC cloak pilot. Davis grabbed Droz picking him up to start running again. They reached the clearing to see Nathen reloading. Droz and Davis ran to him and formed a triangle back to back formation aiming into the forest. "YOU THE PILOT WE'RE HERE FOR?" Davis yelled forgetting how close they were.

"Yes. Pilot Ryan at your service." Nathen said as he shot a grunt then a shielded IMC.

"Nice shot." Droz said firing his flatline. "If this is how you fight then you should have a natural advantage in most fights." They then went silent focusing on the IMC forces. Gates watched as her concern faded being replaced with being impressed.

Flashback end-

I thought fondly on the day when I got a transmission from the blue grappler himself. "Ah Nathen it's great to hear from you." I say as I see his picture with the 6-4 on his caller I'd.

"Hey gates. Just checking in. Hear from Davis or Droz?" He asked as I could hear someone talking about cabbages in the background.

"No they seem to be busy with wave defense training." I say as I heard him chuckle.

"Of course." He responded before sighing. "Its good to hear from you honestly." He says as I smile under my helmet.

"Likewise pilot." I tell him as I heard something.

"Mr. Ryan who are you talking to?" A man asked that sounded old and probably had a fake mustache or something.

"Oh just the voices in my head. They keep telling me to kill something." I let out a laugh as I waited for the man to respond.

"Well we can all hear the voice." I heard a young girls voice say with a bit of caution yet filled with innocence.

"Well if you're so keen on attacking something then please join me down here." I heard nathen stretch then start walking.

"Well gates it was nice to hear from you. See ya later." I then heard the call end as I was smiling.

Nathen pov.

As I got down there I went to pull out a weapon when Professor pork stopped. "I would prefer you not discharge your rifles in my class so please use that knife of yours." I looked to my sheathed data knife and shrugged pulling it out. I then pulled my left arm up and selected a special skill within my suit to create an awall. That's when rattling caught my attention. Near the front of the room was a large cage that was far to large to hold more than 5 Beowulfs.

"Oh you gotta be shitting me." I say when a hissing was heard. I looked to my classmates to see that a glass wall was dividing us. I groan and rub my the bridge of my nose as the cage was open to show a black and white 2 head viper/ cobra. It seemed that the black head was a viper and the white heads king cobra. The snake coiled together before it slithered out of it's dark cage. I cracked my neck before twirling my knife. "Let's do this." I charge the snake as it reared its cobra head back striking at me before lounging at me. I rolled out of the way before charging again. I shot my grapple at the ceiling and was flung up wards as the viper head followed opening its jaws waiting for me to fall in I sighed groaning as I was swallowed whole. "Son of a-"

No one pov.

Everyone in the room was silent in surprise as they watched the scariest student get eaten alive. "NATHEN!" Blake yelled out in fear as she felt tears to her ears. Pyrrha held a sad look as her heart was crushed. Ruby was unable to process this and just stared. Yang felt kinda bad but wasn't completely fazed. Weiss shrugged slightly since she didn't like him. Jaune was horrified since he never thought someone would die. Ren nodded his head solemnly. Nora watched waiting for something epic to happen. The 2 headed snake turned its attention to the students before thrashing around violently before falling dead. As it dissolved to Ash there stood shuddering as he wiped off venomous saliva.

"That....... was disgusting." He said before he looked at the cage tilting his head. The entire class clapped for him before seeing him walk into the cage picking up a oval shaped object. He held it up in the light examining it before it trembled and cracked in his hands to reveal the cutest 2 headed danger noodle.
