the next day came and i went out to school early to meet jihoon.

i reached the rooftop and say jihoon waiting for me there. he heard my footsteps and looked at me. he smiled weakly and walked towards me.

jihoon: um hi well im just gonna go straight to the point ok ? i umm the reason i .. well so called 'liked' you and dated you is because ..

he sighed and continued

jihoon: i wanted to get over my crush that i had. im sorry i used you.

jangmi: oh .. its ok actually ... i think .. i might have done the same

jihoon looked confused

i sighed and then continued

jangmi: jeno.. i actually .. i think i never stopped liking him no matter how freaking annoying he is.

jihoon: oh .. well we still can be really close friends right ?

i ran off and went to find jeno.

as i was in the corridors of the school i see jeno and was about to run to him but bell just HAD TO RING ugh during recess i guess.

during class i couldn't even focus properly because i kept on think about what i should say to jeno. AAAHH STRESS LEVEL: 10000%

i was thinking and thinking until the bell interrupted my thoughts. oh no the time has come.. HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF JANGMI !!

i was walking to jeno's table but the.. haiz jinsol went before me. i knew jeno saw me before jinsol but oh well maybe later. i walk back to my seat and pack up my things. i walk out of the class and see dino and joshua waiting for me.

joshua: i saw jihoon with another girl... soo .. r you ok ?

jangmi: yeah im ok :) we broke up becuz we both found out that we were just dating each other to forget the previous crush-

joshua turns me around and pushes me towards jeno. i look back at them and they were smiling brightly while mouthing out 'fighting !' i look back to the front and see jeno walking towards me. i take a deep breath and walk towards jeno. i stop in front of him and start blurting out,

jangmi: meet me at the rooftop after school

i quickly run away to joshua and dino, leaving jeno dumbfounded.

jangmi: that was hard and i thiNk i did a pretty good job !

joshua: sure keep on making yourself feel better. all you said to him were 7 words jangmi..

jangmi: s-still i still did it well !
i said as i gained the remaining pride in me

AFTER SCHOOL

i immediately ran to the rooftop just as the bell rung. i put down my bag on the floor and i waited for him to come. i really hope he comes .. :/

HALF AN HOUR LATER

i was using my phone when i heard the door from the staircase opened i immediately stood up and neatened myself. i see jeno walk towards me and my heart pounding on my chest.

jeno walking with only strap of his bag on his shoulder makes me nervous. he didnt even smile at me..

he walks up to me and stops.

jeno: you wanted me to meet you here because .. ? i mean you have your boyfriend to attend to dont you ? and if you were wondering jinsol and i broke up last week.

jangmi: firstly, you made me wait for half an hour and thats rude.
secondly, umm well jihoon and i broke up too .

jeno: lmao for what reason exactly ? i thought yall would be a grEat couple

i was FREAKING SHOOK at first but i calmed myself down and kissed back.

(im cringing so hard omg HAHA)

he broke it and stared deeply into my eyes.

jeno: i love you too

i smiled widely

jeno: no questions ok ? just be my girlfriend. thanks

jangmi: w-what ? uh ok ?

he holds my hands and swings them gently looking at me soo freaking deep im dying

jeno: i have waited for so long for this day , and it finally came. thank you jangmi

THE NEXT DAY

i wake up and get ready for school. i start blushing just by the thought of yesterday.

jisung: why are you grinning to yourself like that?

jangmi: uh ah um nO
and i walk out of my room. i think im ready to face the day today.

jisung: did something happen yesterday?

jisung: yes ?

jangmi: oK umm . i broke up with jihoon

i explained to him what happened.

we run to the bus stop right on time and board the bus. we purposely went to the back so that there would be space for jeno

as we reach jeno's stop, i see jeno excitedly waiting for the bus

he boards the bus and looks straight at me
his eye smile makes everything less important.

i smile back as he walks towards me. he sits down next to me. we smile at each other and started talking as we continued on to school

and of course we face the trio again

nancy: oh look what we have here. jeno come here we need to teach this slut a lesson

jeno: uhh why would i wanna go with yall?

jinsol: come on babe dont be silly i know you still love me so come here

jeno: jinsol we broke up already and i told you the reason do you think i actually loved you?

oh man hits harddd
gosh jinsol is breaking down oopsies

jeno: i only have one girl in my mind
as he looks at me and we smile at each other

nancy: jeno you dont have to force yourself to love her-

jeno: well if i dont love her who would i love? you? who would want to love all of yalls bitchy ass personality?

jeno turns to face me as i look back at him

jeno: i have loved you and thats not gonna stop. i love so much,
