Pepper-Up Potion

The next morning, Remus woke up with a thin blanket over him he looked around as he adjusted to the morning he saw Freya. He quickly turned away, as she wasn't covered by a blanket, he tried to find some to throw over to her, in hopes of waking her up.

"Freya," he said, not daring to turn away, she didn't wake up,

"Freya," he said louder, he heard her groan,

"What, I'm tired," she mumbled,

"You need to get dressed," he said, still keeping his head forward and focusing on the wall in front of him, Freya creased her brows wondering why he wouldn't turn around.

"Oh my god, I had no idea, did you-

"Nope, I didn't see anything," he quickly said, Freya smiled, she kept a close eye on him while she quickly changed into her clothes.

"You can turn around now," she said, he sighed

"So how do you feel?" he asked

"Tired, very tired, I don't know how I'm going to stay awake today,"

"This is where Pepper-Up potion is your best friend," he said,

He handed her a small bottle to take a sip of throughout the day, they left the whomping willow, it was still pretty early, easily 5:00 in the morning. Remus and Freya made their way to the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey was shocked to see that they hardly had a scratch on them.

Freya and Remus were excused by Madam Pomfrey they headed back to Gryffindor Tower, where they could get a few hours extra sleep before class started. Freya had no idea how she was going to stay awake throughout the day, then she saw her homework on her bed, she hadn't even begun it.

There were only two hours before her class, she figured she could complete her homework in that time. She took a sip of Pepper-Up potion, hoping to power through the next two hours. Freya studied quietly so she didn't wake any of the girls, she yawned rubbing her eyes.

"What are you doing up this early?" Mary asked, rubbing her eyes

"I realised I didn't do my homework," Freya told her, "Why are you awake so early?" noticing the clock read 6:30

"I have a messed up sleeping pattern, I either wake up really early or don't sleep at all," Mary said, she threw the covers off her, heading towards the bathroom.

Freya only had an hour before breakfast, she supposed she could skip breakfast this once. However, her stomach had other ideas, growling she was starving, the full moon had really taken a lot out of her. She barely got any work done while Mary was awake.

Lily and Marlene headed for the Great Hall for dinner. Alice and Mary practically dragged Freya along, she sat eating while trying to finish her work. Remus saw the bags under her eyes 'she hasn't slept yet?' he thought, Sirius nudged him as he was staring down the table.

"Got your eye on the new girl, have you?" Sirius teased

"No, McGonagall told me to get to know her-

"Why?" Peter asked, reaching over the table to grab a slice of toast.

"Because McGonagall trust me,"

"That's it?" James questioned

"What else do you want me to say?"

"Fine, Fine, anyway we figured out how to become animagi, it's a combination of-

"Yeah, that's great, I'll see you guys later," Remus cut Sirius off, leaving for class as he saw Freya leave for Charms.

He hurried after her, which didn't help Remus with his friends believing he had a thing for her. He could barely see her through the morning crowd of students heading to their first class of the day. Remus bumped into a girl knocking all her books out of her hands.

"Sorry," he apologised, "Freya!" she stopped walking she turned around to face Remus, "Have you slept yet?"

"No, I had homework that need to be finished, I didn't want to fall behind," he sighed

"I thought Professor McGonagall might have told you, I usually get an extra day or two to complete my homework, I assume you would too," he told her

"Oh, I wish I had known I'm so tired, I don't know how I'm going to stay awake,"

"You still have the potion I gave you," she nodded, "you'll need it if you want to stay awake,"

"I can I ask you something?" she said, Remus waited for her to say her questioned

"Do you ever feel like everyone knows what happens on a full moon?" she asked, whispering the last part.

"Yeah, all the time," he said, "especially when it's been a bad night, between howls and roaring it's amazing people haven't figured it out,"

She tried to stay confident and sure of herself, however, whenever she spotted other students gossiping. Freya always assumed they were talking about her and the event that took place last night. She felt relieved that Remus also felt that way, 'at least I have someone to talk to about it'

Freya had no idea what she was going to tell her parents, they would surely want to know how her first full moon had been. She needed time to process what happened herself, she had a full month to fully research werewolves and become more in touch with herself, remembering a piece of advice she received.

"Never be afraid of your wolf, it's a part of you now,"
