I know some of us can testify to these things that older people do.

1. They will always make sure to remind you that they're older by using the command tone on you.

For example my sisters just because they're older will say 'go and wash the plates'.

I hate it when people use that  tone on me so when they use it I won't want to answer them and they go and report me saying I don't want to do my chores.

2. Older people should know that reminding me to do something makes me lose interest in doing that particular thing.

So I'm going to use washing plates as a example again because that's my least favorite chore.

So maybe I'm planning to wash the plates in the next five minutes and someone just says 'go and wash the plates'. I've automatically lost the interest in doing it. So if you want to remind me it would be preferable if you'd say 'remember to wash the plates'. I like that one better.

3. Some older people lack sense of humor. Like you're just joking with them and because they think they're older than you they shouldn't  joke around with you.

Excuse me!! Age is just a number.

4. Older people love concluding that just because you're younger you're automatically dumber. So when you say some wise stuffs sometimes you'll just see their mouths hanging open. My mum will even go ahead and say 'when older people are talking you don't interfere'. And when I ask her why she's say 'you can't think like an older person'.

Some older people who are 40+ still use the IQ of a 6years old.

5. Older people especially older siblings always want to make decisions for you.

My older sister's bf and I were talking on phone and he asked me 'how's your bf?'. (I don't know how my sister heard.) And my sister jumped from where she was folding her clothes, snatched the phone from me and said. 'why will you be asking her a question like that? Don't you know she's too young for that?'.

Like excuse me I can have a bf if I want to it's my decision.
