Anna's POV

"About to enter the Earth's atmosphere." Star Lord announces and Rocket jumps up next to me making me flinch, I'm a bag of nerves at the moment.

"Kid, you're seeing your boyfriend after 3 years, don't look so worried." Rocket says and I look at him.

"But I mean what if he's moved on? What if he's forgot about me? ...or what if...he's got a new girlfriend..?"

Glamora shakes her head, "After you went missing Sam wasn't the same, his heart was so broken he left the guardians and went to earth. He is now part of a new team of heroes and goes to a highschool but he wouldn't never be unloyal to you, he loved you with all his heart and more." Glamora says and I nod smiling.

"Besides who'd touch him, he's Sam." Rocket laughs.

"I hope so..." I say still worried then the ship speaker turns on.

"You are entering private airspace, identify yourself or we will fire." The speaker says and I look out the window at a floating ship in the air. Guess that's the helicarrier, it's pretty big.

"It's just us, we have another young hero, she needs a place to stay." Star Lord says and the guns from the ship go back inside the ship and I look at the ground.

"What do you think he'll do?" I ask and Rocket rolls his eyes jumping down and heading to the door.

"Just shut up and follow me out, your worrying is giving me a headache." Rocket complains and I take my duffel bag with my clothes and follow Rocket out the ship after saying goodbye to the guardians.

A man with an eyepatch walks out and looks at my helmet then at rocket, "I thought you said Nova was the last of them." He says to Rocket.

Rocket shrugs, "Yeah he was.." He says then looks at me, "we thought she was dead until yesterday!" Rocket yells still annoyed at me then sighs, "just take her, I've got places to go." Rocket says having enough of the short conversation then he jumps on the ship and I watch as the guardians leave the Milky Way. So much for being there for me...

"Do you know Agent Nova?" The man asks and I nod smiling at the ground.

"We're close." I say not giving away anything and he looks at me then nods.

"Prove it." He says and I look at him confused, "prove you aren't a spy or a mole sent by the guardians." He says more clearly and I nod. The guardians did say SHIELD and them don't get along too well.

"ok..." I trail off, "his name is Sam Alexander, his eyes are green, hair is black and he has a nova helmet like mine but it's yellow. He got from his father." I say tapping my nova helmet that's on my head.

"Very well then, I'm Director Fury and welcome to the hellicarrier, I'll show you around." He says then starts to give me a tour of the giant ship.

"So what is your connection to agent Nova?" He asks looking at me as we walk through the corridors that never seen to end.

I look down sadly, "well we became best friends as kids then started dating after I joined the guardians-"

"You're Anna." He says with a small smile and I look up at him and nod.

"He told you about me?" I ask.

He looks forward again with what I'm guessing is his usual face expression, cold and serious. "When the Guardians left agent Nova here he had depression, didn't sleep, didn't eat, had nightmares, he didn't even want to live." He starts and I look down, "After a month he opened up about you and what happened, he was put on medication and eventually he started to live again. He never did heal though, he's happy when around people but when left alone his mind goes back to darkness." He says then looks at me, "When he sees you he'll be fixed."

I smile, "I want that." I say then smile nodding, "I really want that."

He then stops at a door and looks at me, "Well he's in here with the team."
