My Brother
Jack Frost
After school, I'd usually follow Elsa to see what she is up to, she's a mysterious girl and plus it's called following not stalking.
But today was the day that my older brother comes back home from a crazily strict boarding school. I'd be happy but I'm not we don't have that brotherly connection I don't call him 'bro' or nor do we play fight like 12 year old boys. My brother, James has a twisted mind.
The only reason James got out of that school is that the teachers believe he has changed as a person and I don't believe it for one bit. You're probably thinking why didn't I attend the same school as him well I am troublesome but James was way worse. James is EXTREMELY troublesome. He got expelled 3 times and then no school could accept him, the only school that did accept him was the disciplinary boarding school. Now after a peaceful year he has come back.
I despise him. He is fire and I am ice, we are very different to each other besides appearance.
James is enrolled in the same school as I am which is complete shit because I know he is going to mess up the school, ask for the spotlight and invade my life. He acts like my life is also his life.
I'm back at home and I dump my bag and haul my body to the bed knowing that James will be arriving anytime.
After 45 minutes I hear the doorbell ring and my parents who think it's an occasion to skip work squeals in excitement. My father forces me to join them.
They open the door and James stands there and smiles. He's still a goth that wears too much guyliner.
My parents hug and kiss him in excitement I just avoid eye contact and cross my arms.
"Oh it was so wonderful to hear that you got straight A's and number 1 pupil in all of the classes!" Mother exclaims.
"It's a miracle. Well it's so glad to be back I was a bit homesick missing my family. I even shed tears thinking about you mother and father." James says.
"Awww ..." Mother says.
"Wouldn't your guyliner run? You should really refrain from crying." I tell him still looking away.
James walks over and pats me on the back. "Hey bro! That is no way to greet me man."
"Just leave me alone." I tell him.
"Jack! That is no way to talk to your brother. Especially when he's just come back after a year." Mother scolds me.
"And what a peaceful year that was." I say.
"Jack." My father says sternly.
"I understand ... Jack will never accept how I've changed. Just know that I love you Jack your my lovely bro and I know that you hate me but I will always be your bro." James says.
"Unfortunately." I groan.
"Where's Sophie?" James asks.
"She's on the school camp. Sorry bud." Father says.
"We should celebrate the arrival of James!" Mother yells.
"I'm not hungry nor am I in the mood to party with my lame brother." I say and I walk upstairs.
I hear my mother mutter to James, "Just let him be he'll accept the new you. It's very childish to hold a grudge that happened so long ago."
Did James take Drama? He seems to be pretty good with his acting skills.
I lied in my bed when I hear a knocks on my bedroom door. "Don't come in!" I yell.
The door opens and it reveals James. "Hey lil bro. How you doing? How are you?" He asks.
"Fine. Without you." I hiss at him.
"Why aren't you happy that I have changed?" James asks.
"I'm not buying it. You must've been killing yourself in that school pretending to be a nice student and cheating on your tests. You will be sent back anyway once you try anything bad so don't you dare cause trouble. And don't you dare invade my life again. If you can avoid doing that I will be convinced that you have changed." I explain.
"Ok bro I'll do it for you. But don't be depressed if I steal all the girls in the school." James says.
"Do whatever. Get any girl that you want." I tell him.
But there's one girl you can never lay your hand on ... she's mine.
"Okay agreed. So we cool?" James asks.
"I guess. But don't act clingy and be so brotherly, I don't like that." I say.
"Anything for you bro." James agrees and leaves the room.
We had dinner and my parents were just chatting about how proud they were about James.
"So James ... have you made any friends yet?" Dad asks.
"James hasn't even started school." I say to him casually and eat my pasta.
"Well actually I met this girl named Elise." He says.
Elise? I don't know anyone in our school called Elise. She must've gone to a different school.
"Did she faint for your looks?" Mother asks and giggles.
"No, she was quite normal actually." James says.
"What does she look like?" I ask him.
"Black hair, brown eyes and pale skin." James tells me and forces a smile.
"Sounds like your talking about my teacher Ms. White." I say.
"Well I guess she doesn't go to your school." James says, "How unfortunate ..."
"And Jack let's clink our glasses together and at least celebrate how I am a good boy." James tells me.
"Fine. You better not be like this in school." I say sternly and we both clink our glasses and drink. James smiles at me but it was the same smile he gave me years ago ...
Elsa Arendelle
Back at school. No friends. No one.
Tadashi probably flew all the way to San Fransokyo.
I was early at school that is why the school looks abandoned. A hand drops down at my shoulder and I flinch and I turn around to see ... James Frost?
Ok James is like his brother unexpectedly showing up in my face.
"Hi um James. Didn't know you would go to the same school as Jack. In fact where is he?" I ask him and James looks annoyed.
"Enough about Jack. He's not your type." James says and smiles putting his hand under my chin.
"H-he is not my boyfriend!" I yell at him.
"Anyway I agreed to Jack that I won't invade his life. But how could I do that if we like the same things?" James says.
"You know what James? You should just leave him alone. Let him live his life and leave him the hell alone and leave me alone as well." I tell him.
"I like dominant girls." James smiles cheekily.
"I despise disrespectful people like you. And I was the stupid one thinking that you must be nicer than Jack, in my dreams." I growl at him.
"I see you must be really close to Jack, that's why you are holding back." James mutters to himself.
"I have no interest in you whatsoever. So whatever you do will have no effect on me." I tell him.
"And Jack will?" James asks.
"Ugh! That's besides the point. Just don't talk to me ... you'll waste your time." I say. "Anyway I guess Jack's a friend of mine. He's got my back so I should repay the favor."
James laughs at me like I'm an idiot and he strokes my hair, I was stunned because nobody has become quite upfront and personal.
"If you tell Jack this ever happened he'll never speak to you again." James says.
"Wha-?"
James pulls me into a tight hug, and somehow I felt like I really needed that hug. After all that lonliness, I really needed it. So unconciously my hands crept up his back and hugged him back.
James pulled away. "I'm sorry. You're just so beautiful, smart and fair I just wanted to hug you. Sorry." James mummbles.
Wow. Nobody made me feel I was worth something, even Jack couldn't because I assume that he's teasing me and he probably is.
"No. Thanks James I really needed that." I thank him and give him a sincere smile.
James Frost
I know what type of guy Elsa wants. The polite gentleman. I thought she liked demanding men but suprinsingly she likes nice people.
Jack is such a loser because he still hasn't scored Elsa yet.
But I will get Elsa first. And Jack will nurture a darkness in his heart.
