"neither did i, youre my everything, pete"
"WAKE UP SLEEPYHEAD" Peter whispered into (Y/N)'s ear. She woke up but kept her eyes closed, turning over to where Peter's voice came from. Her eyes remained shut as Peter kissed her forehead lightly.
"Hum, good morning" she slowly opened her eyes, smiling at Peter's glowing face in front of her.
"Good morning, sleep well?"
"Huh hum" she settled further into Peter's sheets.
"Enjoy my bed, huh?" He smirked.
"Huh hum"
"You can't have it"
"Why not?" (Y/N) opened her eyes and looked into Peter's brown ones.
"Because it's mine"
"And you're mine" she gave him a toothless smile.
"And you're mine," he chuckled. "Stay here as long as you want. I'm going out for a bit" he stood up from kneeling on the floor and walked over to his bedroom door.
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"
"No," he turned around, grabbing his blue jacket, his pizza shirt clinging to his body. "I'll be fine. Don't worry"
"Bye, I love you" (Y/N) called as he walked out the door.
"I love you too, bye" he smiled and left. (Y/N) pulled Peter's covers up to her nose, inhaling his scent. She sat up, letting the sheet fall off her top half, and looked over the side of the bed where Peter once was to see sheets tangled together where he had slept that night. Her hand grabbed the covers and pulled them off her legs which swung round and her feet touched the wooden floor.
She pushed off the mattress using her hands and walked to Peter's closet, finding a jacket that smelt like him and wrapping it around her. She walked out the room like Peter had done previously. Her feet took her to the kitchen. It was quiet. May and Peter were out, leaving her to her own devices.

"Hello?" Peter's voice rung throughout the apartment.
"Hey" (Y/N) smiled as she walked in the living room.
"Is that my shirt?" He questioned, walking closer to her.
"Maybe" her arms wrapped around his neck, his round her waist.
"It looks good on you"
"It sometimes looks good on you"
"Hey!" He started to press his fingers into her side, moving them around making giggles escape from (Y/N)'s mouth.
"Stop! Stop! Please!" She managed to squeeze out while Peter continued to tickle her. He stopped after he saw tears forming in her eyes.
"You okay? Are you alright?" He worried.
"Pete," she took a deep breathe. "I'm fine. Oh, my god" she laughed and tried to control her breathing. Peter began laughing with her, once knowing she was okay.
"Anyway, what did you get?" She asked walking over to the brown bags on the table, placing her hands next to them.
"I got..." he started moving the bags away from her prying eyes. "Some food, some milk, some new hoodies, just for you, and some roses, just for you." He pulled out a bouquet of red roses from a bag under the table. (Y/N)'s face lit up.
"Pete, these-they're absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much"
"You're welcome" he smiled as she hugged him.
"I love you, so so much"
"I love you, too. So so much" Peter leaned forward, placing a chaste kiss on her lips. "Hey"
"Hey"
"I got something to tell you" Peter lowered his voice.
"What?" She lowered her voice too.
"I wish I could explain your eyes, and how your voice gives me butterflies. How your smile makes my heart skip a beat and how every time I'm with you I feel complete.
"Have you ever just looked at someone and thought 'I really love you' and they're just talking or humming or reading a book or watching a movie or laughing or something, and there's something about them in that moment that makes you think 'I just really love you'?"
"Yeh, every time I look at you" she watched Peter's eyes fill with love.
"You know, when I first met you, I honestly didn't know that you were gonna be this important to me"
"Neither did I, you're my everything, Pete"
"And you're my everything, (Y/N)" Peter leaned forward and pressed his forehead against hers lightly. Their lips connected. They moved in perfect sync. (Y/N) couldn't believe she was kissing Peter, it still felt surreal to her. Peter couldn't believe it either. He'd loved (Y/N) for years, and finally, they were where they were meant to be.
The sound of the door opening knocked the two away from each other. Peter unpacked the groceries while (Y/N) jumped onto the couch. She grabbed the nearest magazine as May walked into the kitchen.
"Hi, guys. You got everything, Peter?" She asked, kissing his cheek.
"Yep" he replied, wiping his cheek behind her back, and continuing to unpack the bags.
"Aw, Peter," May gasped. "You bought me roses! You didn't have to!" She grabbed Peter and pulled him into a bone crushing hug. He lightly hugged her back, watching (Y/N) silently giggle from over May's shoulder.
"It's okay, Aunt May" he frowned. "I'm sorry" he mouthed.
"It's okay" she mouthed back.
"Come on, let's get sorted," she let go of Peter. "(Y/N), do you want to stay for dinner?"
"No, it's okay, thank you, May. I have to get home. Thanks for letting me stay the night, though" she replied, getting up from the couch and walking towards Peter's room.
"Are you sure? After yesterday I don't want you to be alone; we don't mind" May called before she left the room.
"I'm sure. Thank you." (Y/N) turned back around and walked into Peter's room. She grabbed her bag and phone and walked back out to see Peter and May whispering. She purposefully stepped on a loose floorboard, bringing their attention towards her.
"I-I'll walk you out" Peter made his way past May and opened the door, following (Y/N) out. He shut it after him.
"I'm, er, I'm sorry about the roses. I'll buy you some more"
"It's okay, Pete. I think May appreciates them anyway" she giggled, making Peter laugh too.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay for dinner?"
"I'm sure. You and May can spend some time together" she placed a hand on his bicep, stroking his arms slightly.
"But I'd rather be with you" he pecked her lips.
"And I'd rather be with you. But we've been together a lot lately, I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
"Fine. I just don't know how I'll cope" Peter moaned.
"Well, come here and I'm sure you'll be fine" she smirked, pulling Peter closer to her and kissing his lips. Her hands cupped his cheeks as his rested on her lower back. The thought of her and Peter staying together for the rest of their lives brought a smile to her face. Peter smiled as well, pulling away.
"What you smiling about?"
"You" she giggled.
"Oh, yeh?"
"Yeh" their bodies still close together.
"I love you"
"I love you, too, Pete" she gave him a chaste kiss. "I gotta go"
"I know" he held onto her hand.
"I gotta go, Pete"
"I know" he repeated.
"That means you can let go of my hand"
"I know" he repeated.
"Pete. Let go. I love you"'
"I know"
"Pete" she pulled a stern face.
"I love you too" he finally let go of her hand.
"Thank you, good night, Pete"
"Good night, (Y/N)" he planted a final kiss on her lips before opening his door again and watched her unlock her own. She turned back around to wave goodbye. Peter waved back. She faced away from Peter and walked into her apartment closing the door and locking it.
Peter watched the door close and get locked. He shut his own, turned around, pressed his back against it, leaned his head back, closed his eyes and sighed.
"Anything you wanna tell me?"
