Ebba Canosa had never been the prettiest, smartest, coolest, or funniest girl in school. She had always been a bit mediocre, but she was fine with that, especially at a school like Chilton

While she was the perfect example at school, Ebba enjoyed causing chaos in Stars Hollow a bit too much. Her hometown was the place for her to let loose and enjoy the little things in life (such as the violent shade of purple Taylor Doose's face could get, or seeing how many town meetings she and her best friend, Theo, could be responsible for.)

Paris Geller was known for her incessant urge to be the best at everything, or to kill herself trying. She never settled, and always expected others to put in the same amount of effort she did.

All that to say, Paris refuses to let a silly schoolgirl crush be the fault of slipping grades. Sure, the quiet girl in the back of class with bright red hair happened to be very attractive, but that didn't mean anything! And just because the two of them were continuously paired up for group assignments, didn't mean they would suddenly become friends, right?
