'W-where are we going?' I asked the lady sitting beside me, Veer's grandmother. My voice shook at the end. I can't help it, her presence make me cower at my place. She looks like a stone no smiling no laughing just ordering around like a robot.

" You will get to know after a while, till then make sure to give some rest to your mind" came a sarcastic reply from her, and i shut my lips tightly. Whereas car moving with its speed through the heavy traffic.

I was hell tired after wasting four hours for buying clothes and jewelleries for pooja and reception. Nitya and Vaani di were  me to mall. The moment we exit the mall grandmother came and asked me yo hop in her car, she wanted to take me somewhere. Before i could protest, Vaani di made me sit in the car and the rest is history.

After 40 min. Suffer car came to a halt in front of a hospital, my burrows frowned in worry. ' Is grandmother ill?'

Driver came and open the door for her , she walked out gracefully her head held high. I also left the car and join her.

" Dadi are you okay?" I asked, in concerned. I wasn't good with hospital. There are too many worst memories attach to this certain place.

" Follow me, i have a important matter to take care of" she said glancing in my eyes, her face stern.

" I am just worrying, if everything alright?' i cleared myself, not wanted to create a rift between us.

She ignored my words bluntly, instantly going inside the huge hospital. Smell of strong medicines directly hit my nostril making me gag, i hate this smell out of my guts.

Now i am scared, why isn't she telling me anything?. And if she is sick she should have taken Vaani Di or Veer with her not me. I don't even know anything about her health. We crossed the hallway and took a left turn stopping in front of the cabin outside.

We both sat in the waiting area of purportedly best  gynecologist Dr Anita Sharma. I didn't know why I was here, but grandmother had asked me to come. And like always, I couldn't say no to her.

After a while, we descended the few steps to her office. Many certificates adorned the walls. Doctor was a little healthy woman. She smiled brightly.

" Hope, you are doing well Dr Sharma" grandmother asked reaching the near chair. Dr Sharma nodded and gesture to the chairs and we sat.

" I had asked you before," grandmother start, leaning forward."I don't have much time and following test took one or two days max for an outcome, as you also aware of my grandson's marriage we can't delay it more you just have to check her and quiten my worries. So, thing's could go smoothly".

My brows furrowed in confusion , which test?

Dr Sharma nodded after both of them finished talking. She eyed me briefly. "I get it Vasundra ji, ' she began slowly."That you want result quickly, but every hospital have its certain rule and regulations we can't avoid them"

Grandmother raised her hands in disdain.'You don't have to worry about that Dr, I have discussed with Director of this hospital, you just have to played your role. Rest will be taken care of".

" Then I don't have any issue Vasundra ji, but I have a question" she said gazing at me. " Did she don't have any objections about these tests"

Now i sat alert in my seat, they are talking about me. Dr mention some test but I am fine, don't need any test.

" What type of Tests?" I asked the doctor before grandmother could answer. Dr, sighed and lean in her chair gazing between me and grandmother." Dadi , what's happening here, why you took me here?"

" For fertility test?"

It seems i heard something wrong. "Sorry, i didn't heard"

" I said you are here for fertility test , i wanted to make sure that your able to deliver children. I can't risk Rathods future"

Hearing her words , i shook to core. Is she real? How could she utter such words without any shame,.

" I am not doing anything like this" i kept my point.

" You don't have any other choice, young lady" her voice cold.

" It's my choice if I wants to take such test or not, And also it's only my concern if i am fertile or not. This matter doesn't concern you"

She took a step near me, " I have wasted 2 crore's on your worthless firm, basically we bought you in 2 crore. I don't wants to deal a loss, i need to personally check my asset if it is defective or not "

Her each word dripped in venom, they stung brutally. And once again reality hit me hard on my face, leaving me wound and broken. She is true, they did bought me.

" I need to discuss with Veer, ' i said with great difficulty. Only he can deal with her grandmother. She can't humiliate me like this.

" He knew about this"

" What?"

" You hear me, he knew everything and doesn't have any objections"

I staggered back her words, how could they both?. He is my last hope,. My heart shook at her revelation, he was aware of this and didn't have any issue. Is i am a toy that they gonna check me before purchasing?. Is my self respect isn't anything. She is also a woman how could she think about me like this. Her words disgusting.

Tears formed in my eyes, telling the tales of my agony. But I don't wants to break down here, in front of her proving my self a weakling.

" If your melodrama has finished then come and cooperate with Dr," she said .

I swallow my pride, and nodded at her. Dr. took me to the another side of the cabin where needed instrument were kept. She took my blood samples her face showing pity. But it's the last thing I wanted.

After the test and discussion, I came outside. Grandmother and doctor have a secret conversation and then we are free to leave.

My hope died in Veer in finding any humanity, or respect towards me. Is this how this relationship going to make me worthless with every step. Would i always going to compromise like this for full filling their absurd demands.
If this is the truth i don't want such relationship.
