Taehyung
I don't look him in the eye as I close the door behind me, in fear of seeing the hurt that has kept me here this long.
It wasn't that I enjoyed hurting him, I didn't want to hurt him, that's why I try to keep myself busy.
If I'm too busy working then I'm too busy to hurt him, right?
It's not like I never had love for Jimin, I really did, but everyone gets to this point in a relationship, it's just a bump in the road, we'll get over this. Right?
I sigh putting my suitcase in the trunk of the car before climbing in just as my phone rings.
I smile seeing the private number pop up before answering.
"Hello."
"Hey love."
The pet name brings a small smile to my face as I close the partition between the driver and I. "How are you, Jungkook?"
"I'm fine, are you okay, love?" He responds speaking smoothly like he always does.
"I'm alright."
"I saw you on TV earlier."
I fall silent for a moment. "Oh?"
"Mhm, you guys looked good together." He says, but I hear the coolness in his tone.
I chuckle a little. "Jealous?"
"Course not, it's not like he's fucking you, I am."
I choke a little as my face heats up immensely. "Oh my gosh."
"What?" I hear him chuckle. "It's true, no?"
"I guess."
"No?"
"It is."
"It is, what?" He pushes, I can practically hear the smirk on his face.
"It is." I say not giving in.
He coos on the other line. "Should I punish you when you get here baby?"
"No."
"Then say it baby boy." He says leaving me no choice.
"It's true, daddy."

Jimin
"Jimin?"
"Hey, Yoongi."
"Hey," he responds opening the door wider to let me in.
It was later the next day after driving for hours I came straight here instead of going home, Taehyung probably isn't there anyway.
"I'm sorry I didn't call." I apologise stepping inside the apartment.
"Don't worry about it, I wasn't doing anything." Yoongi laughs closing the door.
"Hobi's not here?" I ask turning to him.
"Uh, no." He says. "Is everything ok, Jimin?"
"Yeah. Why?" I ask following him to the couch where he offers me a seat.
"I watched the engagement thing." He says leaning back and propping his feet up on the coffee table.
"How was it?" I ask making myself comfortable as well.
Yoongi laughs. "It was good. You guys looked good."
I nod looking down at the ring with a sad smile. "I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"Are you sure you're okay, Jiminie?" He asks again.
I nod looking up at him. "Why do you keep asking me that?"
"Just waiting for you to tell the truth." He shrugs making me sigh, he knows me too well I guess.
"What do you want me to say?" I ask staring straight ahead.
"I know your smile Jimin, and I know when you're faking. I also know that you were crying for an entirely different reason than Taehyung's proposal." Yoongi says looking over at me trying to make eye contact.
There's a beat of silence as I try to find the right words to say. "I love him."
"I never said you didn't." He says.
"Then what are you implying?" I ask finally making eye contact and regretting it when I remember he can read me like an open book.
"I'm not implying anything." Yoongi shakes his head.
I sigh looking down at my hands and stay silent until he speaks again.
"Why'd you come here tonight Jimin?" He asks.
"Because."
"Because?"
"I don't want to go home." I answer truthfully.
"Why?" Yoongi asks sitting up. "What's he done?"
"Nothing," I say.
"Nothing?"
"He doesn't do anything. And that hurts me." I say fighting my tears. "He just works and works, to the point where all he has time to do is sleep when he does come home."
Yoongi sighs. "I'm sorry Jimin."
"Why?" I say forcing a small laugh. "You can't help it. It's my fault really."
"How could it be your fault?" He asks with underlying anger in his voice.
"Because I didn't do enough, I wasn't enough, and now I've lost the best thing that's ever happened to me." I say letting the tears fall freely without stopping them.
Yoongi moves closer pulling me into a comforting hug. "Don't cry, Jiminie."
I shake my head trying to wipe my eyes but it's really no use. "I'm sorry Yoongi."
"Don't be." He hums stroking my hair, trying to calm me down.
I sigh into Yoongi's chest as he holds me and I continue to let him hold me after the tears stop.
For a moment everything is quiet and I feel at peace with Yoongi, but it all ends soon when I get a phone call from the devil himself.
~
I rush up the pathway leading to the front door of the house walking in to find the lights are off.
"Taehyung?" I call switching the lights on as I step out of my shoes.
"Where were you?" He says appearing from the direction of the kitchen with a glass of tainted alcohol.
"I'm so sorry Tae, I completely forget about dinner with your parents." I apologise as I remove my coat.
"Where were you?" He asks again not acknowledging my apology.
"Tae~"
"Jimin." He says."What? You're not going to answer me?"
"I was with Yoongi." I say looking at him, trying to figure out how drunk he is.
"Of course you were." He mumbles walking past me.
"Tae, I said I was sorry. It just slipped my mind."
"Slipped your mind?" He repeats turning to face me with a incredulous expression. "But when I call you, you don't answer?"
I sigh in defeat, I had been letting all his calls ring out as I drove.
"You made me look fucking stupid in front of our parents!" Taehyung exclaims when I don't respond.
"I'm sorry. I'll call and apologize in the morning." I say, I mean what more can I do?
"You're un-fucking-believable." He scoffs rolling his eyes and walking away again.
"Taehyung~" I start to follow only for him to turn and push me away making me stumble and almost lose my balance.
"Fucking save it!" He shouts pointing down to me. "You waste my time? Just to go dick around with that asshole!?"
I look at him in disbelief, did he really just push me?
I watch silently as he slams his cup to the ground shattering it completely.
"Stay the fuck away from him!" Taehyung screams stepping closer. "Do you hear me!?"
"Y-Yes." I stutter quietly looking down at my hands.
He huffs once more before turning and walking away, the broken glass crunching under his shoes as he does.
I stand there staring at the broken shards for a moment before one of the workers snap me out of it.
"Mr. Park?" Rayla says standing in front of me.
"Oh." I say forcing a smile. "I'm fine Rayla. You can go home now."
"I'll just clean this~"
"I'll clean it. Thank you. Have a good night. Be careful." I say bowing and turning away before the smile withers away and the tears form.
I hear her say a quiet goodbye and I turn the corner going into the kitchen to find a dust pan and broom.
After picking up the glass I make my way to one of the guest rooms not even bothering to go change my clothes before laying down in the bed and willing myself to sleep.
I hope I wake up to a better tomorrow.
