Jimin
"Jimin!"
I jump slightly at the sound of Taehyung calling my name downstairs.
"Hey, Yoongi. I gotta go, call me back tomorrow. Okay?" I say through my earpiece as I type on my computer.
"Alright, sorry again about your party. I really did want to go." Yoongi says from the other line.
"It's okay, you can't help that you're sick, Yoongs." I say. "Just make sure you get a lot of rest and drink plenty of fluids. You need to get better soon, okay?"
"Alright." Yoongi chuckles. "You feel better too, Jimin."
"Promise to call me back tomorrow?" I ask.
"I promise, don't worry." He says. "Bye."
"Bye." I say, hanging up just as the bedroom door opens.
Taehyung stands in the door way with his suitcase. "You didn't hear me calling you?"
"I was on the phone." I say pushing my glasses up the bridge of my nose and continuing to type the script I was working on.
"To who?" He asks coming in and dropping his suitcase.
"Yoongi." I say, I was definitely not in the mood to deal with his attitude.
My head was throbbing and my sinuses were fucked up beyond belief, I just wanted to be left alone.
"Why?" He asks dragging his suitcase to the closet as he loosens his tie.
"He was apologizing for missing my party, he's sick so he can't come." I say, my voice sounding nasally due to my stuffy nose.
"And you're sick?" He asks making me look up at him.
"Yeah, it's nothing serious. Just a cold or something." I say with a shrug. "How was your trip?"
"You've been hanging around him again, haven't you?" He asks instead of answering.
"Who? Yoongi?" I ask setting my laptop to the side.
"Yes, Yoongi." He says removing his suit jacket.
"No, why do you ask?" I ask grabbing my tea from the bedside table.
He doesn't answer as he goes into the closet, I'm guessing to change his clothes and head straight back to work.
I ignore him and go back to my laptop, I didn't want to argue with him today.
"Did you call and ask your mother if everything was okay for tomorrow?" He asks from the closet.
"I did, she told me not to worry about anything." I say, I honestly couldn't care less if the entire plan fell through and the party never happened.
"I'm going to work." He says emerging from the closet in a different tie and the same suit.
He usually showered after every flight so it was strange that he was heading straight to work.
I let him leave without saying anything, he's not listening anyways.
I close my laptop and get up to get my outfit together for the party tomorrow.
I didn't really care what I was wearing but my mother had some things sent to me and I had no option but to choose from them.
They are mostly all red suits that look the same to me so I just pick the first one I unpack.
To say that I wasn't looking forward to the party was a huge understatement, I was dreading it.
Mostly because Taehyung was being an asshole to me and I didn't want to have to pretend everything was okay in front of all the people there.
I hated that he was always so mean to me, all I do is try to make sure he has no reason to be upset with me.
But everything I do seems to just upset him.
I just wish we could be how we used to be, back when we were younger and dumber than we are now.
But things will never be the same again, and I hated that.

It's the day of the big party and everyone who is anyone is raving about it.
There seems to be reporters at every corner so I'm not allowed out of the house until the party starts tonight at eight.
When I woke up this morning Taehyung was gone and a huge bouquet of roses are there in his place along with a note saying happy birthday and that he loved me.
It was sweet and it made me smile, I loved him too.
The gift bag sitting beside the flowers contained another card saying happy birthday and a bracelet with matching earrings to go with it.
I loved the gifts but the fact that both cards are written in someone else's handwriting tells me he probably had nothing to do with them.
I gave the staff the day off so the house is completely empty besides me unfortunately.
As I'm trying to keep myself busy for the next five hours my phone rings.
Yoongi
I smile and close my laptop before answering.
"Hey, Yoongs."
"Hey, Birthday Boy." He says back making me laugh.
"Hey." I say again. "How are you feeling?"
"Not so hot, how about you? Are you busy?" He asks.
"No, I can't leave my house until the party starts." I say.
"Really? Why?"
"I don't really know, Tae told me to stay put so I am." I say with a sigh. "To be honest though, I'm kinda dreading this whole party."
Yoongi chuckles. "Why? It's your birthday, it should be celebrated."
"I know, but I'm not gonna know anyone there. They all are going to be Taehyung's friends and every important person my mother could think of. I'd rather stay home by myself." I say, the whole situation was stupid.
"You didn't invite any of your friends?"
"You and Taemin are the only friends I have, and Taemin's out of town." I say, wow I sound sad.
"Aw, I'm sorry, Jiminie. You know I'd be there if I could."
"Of course I do, you're my best friend." I say. "You never let me down."
"Hey, make sure you come by tomorrow and pick up your gift."
"You got me something?" I ask. "What is it?"
"You'll find out when you get it."
"Can I get a hint?" I laugh. "Can I take a guess?"
"Guess."
"Is it a...cotton candy maker?" I ask trying to come up with the most ridiculous thing.
Yoongi laughs on the other line. "Good guess, but no. I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"Yeah, I'll be there to pick up my gum ball machine." I say earning another laugh.
"Alright, Chim."
Yoongi and I end up talking for almost three hours.
It's crazy how easily conversation flows between the two of us, it makes me think back to when Tae and I were this way.
After I hang up with Yoongi it's around 5:30 so I decide to start getting ready.
It usually takes me up to two hours to prepare for these types of events anyways.
Even though I didn't want to go, talking to Yoongi put me in a good mood so I'm not as upset.
I take my time getting dressed and before I know it, it's almost show time.
