Jimin
I roll my eyes for the umpteenth time as my mother goes on and on to me about the people I absolutely must invite to my birthday party next week.
I don't really care who shows up because I won't be there long enough to even greet a quarter of the people on the list.
"You'll have invite Mr. Kang and his family of course, and the Choi's." Mother continues to add names to the list.
"Are you sure the venue's large enough? Should we just go ahead and rent out an entire city?" I ask sarcastically.
"Watch your tone." She scolds without sparing me a glance.
I sigh crossing one leg over the other and looking out the window. "When are you going to be finished?"
"I'm just about done, when did you become so impatient? That fiancé of yours is rubbing off on you quite a bit." Mother chuckles softly.
I roll my eyes again at that, how can someone who's never around rub off on me?
"Alright. There, if I think of anymore important people I'll call you." She says. "I emailed the list, don't forget to make the invites."
"I won't, Mother." I say grabbing my laptop bag and throwing it over my shoulder. "I'm going to say goodbye to Taehyung and then I'll be on my way."
"Okay, take care Son." She says as I stand and head out. "Oh, and Jimin."
"Yes?" I sigh turning to her.
"Don't forget to invite some of your friends as well, okay?" She says.
"Alright, goodnight Mother." I say, bowing a little before going on my way.
I take the elevator up to the floor Taehyung's office is, but when I get there he seemed to had already locked up and left.
"Mr. Park, are you looking for Mr. Kim?" Secretary Jeon walks up, all ready to leave as well.
"I was, he never leaves this early." I say checking my watch.
"Yeah, you just missed him." Jeon says with a small smile.
"Well, I guess I'll just go then." I say chuckling a little. "Are you going down too? We can go down together."
"Oh, sure." He says with a airy laugh before leading the way to the elevators.
"You know, Jungkook. You've changed so much since we were in college." I say as he presses the call button to the elevator. "For the best of course."
"You have too." He says nodding as the doors open and we step in.
"Back when we were in college I thought you hated me." I say laughing at how sensitive I used to be.
"Hate you? I could never." He says shaking his head. "Why would you think that?"
"I don't know, you and Taehyung were close and I felt like you didn't like having me around." I say with a shrug. "I was just being sensitive, don't worry. I know you don't hate me."
"Yeah, I didn't hate you then either." He says with a smile before the elevator stops on the bottom floor a few moments later.
"Nice speaking with you, have a good night." I say stepping off first.
"You as well." Jungkook bows respectfully before we both go our separate ways.

When I get home I expect to find Taehyung there it I find the house empty.
"Rayla?" I fall, the women appearing from upstairs.
"Sir?" She asks rushing down the stairs.
"Has Taehyung been here?" I ask her as I remove my jacket.
"Oh, no sir. He asked me to let you know he'd be staying at the office late tonight." She says with a sad smile, she was always feeling sorry for me.
"Oh, okay. Thanks. You can go." I say bowing my head and walking towards the stairs.
"Mr. Park?" Rayla says stopping me, I turn to her and let her continue. "You haven't been eating properly so I had the cook make dinner tonight and he'll be here to make breakfast in the morning."
"Rayla, you didn't didn't have to~"
"Please take care of yourself. Have a good night, see you tomorrow." She says bowing and leaving to get her things to go.
I sigh and continue up the stairs. I had a strict diet, some call it the warrior diet or whatever, but I only ate one meal a day and made sure to drink plenty of high calorie fluids.
Taehyung's always liked me better thin so I try to stay in shape for him.
I change into comfortable clothes before going downstairs to wrap up the food the cook made and to leave a note telling him not to make breakfast.
When I'm finished I go upstairs to wait for Taehyung to get back.
I end up waiting for a good three and a half hours before I hear the front door open.
I push myself out of bed and head downstairs.
"Tae?" I say when I get down and find him by the door stepping out of his shoes.
"Hm?" He hums walking past me towards the stair.
"Where were you?" I ask when I get to the bottom of the stairs.
"I told you I was working late." He says, his tone short and slightly annoyed. "Why are you even up?"
"I went by your office before I left and your secretary said you already left. That was almost four hours ago." I say as he walks past me, going upstairs.
"I had things to take care of outside of the office, not that I should have to explain that to." He says, the smell of alcohol coming off of him as he walks by.
"Have you been drinking?" I ask turning and looking up at him.
"Jesus fucking Christ, Jimin. Can you relax? If you stayed up to question me you should have went to sleep, I don't have to answer to you." He snaps turning to me. "Leave me the hell alone."
"I have a right to know where you've been, Taehyung. I'm your fiancé." I say crossing my arms. "It's been hours since you've been off."
"Just be quiet, can you do that? Can my fiancé shut his damn mouth?" Taehyung says turning and going up the stairs with another word.
I run my fingers through my hair in frustration, was he really the one arguing with me after coming home late?
And not only was he late, he was fucking drunk.
I give myself a few minutes to calm down before going upstairs as well.
When I get upstairs Taehyung has already changed into his pajamas and is getting into bed.
My heart drops when I see the light bruises on his neck and collarbone where his shirt wasn't covering.
They were unmistakably hickies, and I surely didn't give it to him.
I stand in the doorway silently as I try to convince myself that I'm being ridiculous.
"What?" He asks after I stand there for a while.
"Are you cheating on me?" I ask, the words bitter on my tongue.
Taehyung sighs. "And if I am?"
His words hurt, they hurt more than he will ever know. "T-Taehyung~"
"I'm not fucking cheating on you. So shut up asking useless questions. You wouldn't be so insecure if you were a better boyfriend." He says standing from the bed. "I do everything for you and all I get is a bunch of fucking questions in return. When you start paying one of the bills around here you can start asking questions, but until then you keep your fucking mouth shut. Got it?"
I am completely speechless as I stare back at him, his eyes full of anger and aggregation.
"Fucking answer me." He snaps making me flinch.
"I got it." I say, my voice wavering.
"Good." He says before storming past me and going to one of the guest rooms, slamming the door behind him.
I shut the bedroom door behind me before crawling back into bed.
Tears stream from my eyes as I try to force myself to sleep.
He was right though, I had no right to question him.
He did everything for me and without him I'd be nothing.
I was wrong, I'll admit that.
